This is an entry for The Five Giants thumbnail contest. The Five Giants is an upcoming warriors multi animator project hosted by Whiskermoon, Obnoxious Giraffe and Callipepla Californica. I would've loved to join that project as an animator, but unfortunately joined the MAP community 6 months too late as the project's been going on for a year already. However I got another chance to take part in it in the form of the thumbnail contest they're holding and definately wanted to give a go for it ^^

This is the best warrior cat art I have seen! The stars on their heads are not like any star you put on Firestar's head, I've never seen it before, it's so unique and original. And the way you put the detail to make the colors blend and make them look like real cats!

It’s not the best Warrior Cats art ever, but it’s definitely on my top ten list of the best Warriors art.
You may have noticed this video cuts short weirdly. Thats because Moviemaker unfortunately decided to cut 9 out of the 11 video files I had into 50 second clips and I was only able to recover 6 of them. The last 3 complete clips showing the painting process of Leopardstar and Blackstar, and the repainting of the background were left missing. Hopefully you'll enjoy the video nevertheless!
UPDATE: I am also aware of the one part repeating from 2:23 to 3:15 and cutting another part off, but I can't really do anything to that anymore as the timelapse file is so broken already :")

WTF this is too damn amazing!!!! I love the lighting, the shading, the colors, the anatomy, the expressions (Leopardstar looks so... I can't even describe her expression it's so gorgeous and I also lack vocabulary in English but oh well) and I could go on about it forever but yeah, this is the work of a true artist. Cannow AJ there were no strict design guidelines in this MAP so I took the creative freedom to add something of my own. And I since I like Blackstar's design more with white ears I made him that way ;)

yea moviemaker can be a pain in the ass sometimes. This is the first time I have this big problems with it :/
I'd have other programs too but despite them being technically a lot better editing programs they're not very handy for editing speedpaints so I still try to do it with wmm :")
I personally use Sony Vegas for editing, but not for speedpaints because for some reason it can't speed them up fast enough like wmm can!
WolFirry try gimp or pain l use gimp and paint l use paint to make a base and then l collor it at gimp
i have seen a lot of warrior speedpaints but this was awesome! one of the best i have ever seen :D

MollyMiracle I don't know I think I will like the books better. Also, it's gotta be a long movie considering that there are more books in this series than Harry Potter and the hunger games combined XD. So I just don't know if they can capture all of Erin hunter's awesomeness in one or a few movies. Oh well. That's just my opinion... (Plus it'll probably have to be for mature audiences considering the blood spill, betrayal, and every single brutal death Erin Hunter has released on us XD)

I don't know why but this just made me realize since I was twelve i have been reading books about cats which have nine lives and live in society which has roles and anybody can have kits.
it's so sad that they all are in starclan (except for leaf star which she still didn't reach the other clans in the recently added book)

Watching this made me have this nostalgic feeling that was indescribable. My heart kept fluttering and I felt sad, because I miss the old leaders and the forest, but I also felt happy because this reminds everyone of the forest and the cats that we have lost over the years. Not to mention THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!

It is one of my pet peeves when people add stars to the leaders but I just love the way you did it it’s not the full blown “⭐️” but more of a natural one. it’s simply beautiful.

I love the idea of 5 giants and i am a big fan of Whiskermoon. You are also PAWSOME. Do you have any tips for paper and pencil artists to get on a computor and to try to draw and animate
Straight Up Trash draw traditionally then take a picture of it with really good lighting or it would look faded. Make a new layer and on that layer you then use the stabilizer tool to help make straighter lines and trace over your traditional. After that you want to make a third layer to make the first colors of the cats and a fourth layer for a chest color for editing purposes and then another for the eyes. After that make another layer for lighting and yet another for shading due to some apps only do one type per layer. And another to edit on top of the previous stuff unless you like it the way it is now. Hope this kind of helped

also this is positively beautiful and if this isn't the thumbnail then it had better be damn good. you can just see all the stories that have never been told, smell the dusty leaves, feel the wind in your hair, the setting sun on your back. this is by far my favorite piece of warriors still art.

not to be mean this is just my OCD talking but isn't blackstar just supposed to have one black paw, like I said I don't want to be mean your art is amazing and breath taking, and if I'm wrong I understand I haven't read the books in a couple months so I kinda lost some things
Crazyrainbow 82 All of Blackstar's paws are black (if I can trust the wiki haha) but one of them has six toes and is therefore bigger. I think that was mentioned in the books and could be mistaken as him having one black paw because they were talking about just that one big one. Then again people do their own designs for the characters and for example many people draw Blackstar with black ears ^^

Ok how to even begin....I love how each if the characters is in a different position and the way that the light comes in it makes it so cool and unique. Not to mention how good the stars are in their heads. I feel that you got there fur accurately and not just changed it for whatever reason.
