Ngl, all we need is 2 and 3. LBP 2 is just LBP with more things and better graphics. It would be nice to be able to choose LBP 1’s aesthetics for menus and animations tho
I also prefer to play those kind of games on the steam deck or Nintendo switch. Playing this on my PC feels akward to me. I rather play intensive adventure story games there . Thanks for the Video! So I also play it on my steam deck. If you lock the game to 40 FPS and 40 hz your battery life will be three hours and it feels like playing on solid 60 FPS. :)
This looks surprisingly great on Steam Deck. Plus, the smaller screen will make the low resolution a non-factor anyways. I might have to double dip on this one.
Does anyone know if online multiplayer works well on the steam deck? I have looked around but all I’ve seen is couch coop with several controllers connected to the steam deck.
man, how did u set up a multiplayer? I can't find any game and can't join my friend's one. it tells me that the game has some problems with linking an Epic game account. however, I did link it through the PS website
I'd be much more likely to purchase SABA if Remote Play Together was available. As it is, it's a big missing feature for a game that has a co-op emphasis
What TDP were you running your Deck at? I’ve been keeping the TDP at 8 watts because, after dealing with my last gaming laptop that almost always ran too hot to even touch the keyboard, I decided I wanted to keep the internal temperatures low from the get-go, even if the Deck is designed so that the heat isn’t near your hands. Just a precaution I keep for longevity
Nothing wrong with playing at 30fps, it's a handheld, and you barely notice on games like this. I play RE4 Remake on 30, Dead Space Remake (definitely on 30 locked), God Of War, Uncharted, etc. They all run and look amazing on the steam deck screen. Also it's much easier on your system. And I rarely hear my fan at all, and the temperatures stay as low as 60 to 70 degrees always. This isn't a 60fps machine for newer games, older ones sure. But I'm just glad it plays these games at ALL that way I'm not always using my PS5, or Series X. Which have become cumbersome. imo. With no new titles lately.
For a better FPS comparison you should have made the FPS unlimited, but if Steam Deck has a 60Hz screen you won't notice the extra frames anyways unless you had a better screen. Also for a better FPS comparison without any dips in frames: Rather than recording with a software like OBS, record the footage with a capture card so that the actual performance isn't impacted.
The only way for the built in benchmark overlay to show FPS beyond 60 was if I had overlay 4 on. I had overlay 3 on and I didn't know that at the time. I did also record through a capture card, but I recorded that capture card through OBS lol. That's how I've always kinda recorded things, but maybe I shouldn't? Idk, did it look like OBS was affecting my performance in the video?
@@BlazingVictini22 AHH I see, lol. If it was from a capture card than the FPS should be fine, even if you used OBS. Just as long as it's not on the actual hardware the game is running on, no performance will be lost. Would've been cool to see the full capability with overlay 4 enabled.
I have a third party dock, not the official steam dock, I'm not entirely sure it can do that but possibly? I haven't really looked into it yet. Also I wouldn't want to do that for this video because bumping it to 1080p would've affected the performance.
i bought this game for teh steam deck. installed it. now its trying to load with a blue bar on the top of the screen. and its giving me this warning saying "fatal error" and it wont open
Im having issues when playing this game offline. It takes ages to load even when bringing up menu will take nearly a minute. When online the issues are completely gone. Anyone else having the same issues?
Yes, Steam Deck supports practically any and all controllers right out of the box! I was actually using the Dualsense to play the game for this video. No haptic triggers yet from what I can tell though.
Tragically its the result of Sony Interactive Entertainment devaluing their entire PlayStation ecosystem by porting its main selling point elsewhere, as such said title can be played on the pc market
@@Alexchii By that I meant that they are loosing millions by porting their titles elsewhere for scraps of attention negatively impacting their potential profits The Uncharted Legacy Of Thieves port peaked at 10,861 yet sold millions console wise, God Of War plus Horizon Forbidden West almost brought almost 1 billion in total again console wise yet only managed to sell a few hundred thousand copies elsewhere If anything putting a fully optimized curated select list of ever rotating key titles either as a rental service for a limited time or a main part of the PS+ subscription would have benefitted them more since it would be an easy constant source of revenue not random momentary surge of sales received by selling it directly

I play at the moment another UE4 game (pumpkin jack) and my battery life is also at 1.45 but i optimise it by drop fps to 50 and drop resolution scale by 2 points. Game feel and look almost same, probably because small screen but i get now 2.45 play time and fan is silent.
It's interesting to see LBP on a sort of handheld again...feels like we're going back to the ways of PS Vita.
I loved lbp vita!
But with about 10 times the power lol
The low settings make sackboy look like he's from LBP PSP
I can't wait for mods to be made for this game

Would love that but modders (The bad ones) would probably ruin it for the community
@Jazzucci geez, if only they didn't canned LittleBigPlanet Hub...
I just wish more people were playing it, the price is most likely the biggest factor as to why it flopped in sales and player count.
I'm not even 3 minutes in and I already want this game. Love me some Sackboy fun.
Imagine if modders make a create mod like lbpk, this would be mind blowing ngl. Can't wait for what the future have in store for us.
It would take ages, but it would be amazing if it actually happened. It would probably even get me to buy the game again on PC.
Honestly, I kinda like how Low qraphics looks in the video. Nice pixel effect 👌.
I ripped on it a bit in the video, but looking back it does really remind me of LBP PSP and that's pretty neat!
honestly low looks sooo good for most game thanks to the smol screen :)

I haven't messed around with those settings, at least not yet. Everything on my steam deck is still set to default.
Same dude. I use 9 to 10 watts max. Gives a lot longer battery life too. And the fans barely kick on so it's quiet too
