    this village is just divine, the snow looks so good! I love how Japan's snowfall is literally enough to cover cars and houses :p

      The snowfall is nice to look at but it sucks to have to deal with. My car was buried for almost a week this past winter.

    What month did you go? I am planning to visit in late March and wondered if the roads are too icy for an inexperienced driver. Drive from Kanazawa to Takayama via Shirakawago.

    • @leahbell15
      @leahbell15  7 месяцев назад

      I am originally from Florida so I am not very experienced with snow as well. However, the highways in Japan are very accustomed to this kind of weather so you shouldn't encounter any issues with driving in the snow or ice. I went in February and had no issues.

    Hello love the videos, how do you get to places like this in japan it seems so inaccessible?

    • @leahbell15
      @leahbell15  2 года назад

      I had a car so getting to places like this was a lot easier. If you are just visiting Japan, I recommend getting an international drivers license and renting a car. If you don't want to rent a car, I think there may be a bus/tour bus that takes you to Shirkawagoe from Kanazawa or Takayama
