    Thanks! Blue Lou Marini’s dad was my sax teacher back in 66-70. His dad also filled in on piano for my quintet. But after 14 years of teaching band and orchestra I lost most of my hearing. I sold my Mk 6 tenor and didn’t even want to listen to the radio anymore. But today I can route my mixer to headphones and I am playing again. Many of my students went on to major in music. I really like the clear, concise, and creative way you present your lessons. I am 75 now but do believe you can teach an old dog new tricks!

    If I become a member would it be possible to get the material written in concert pitch? Love your style of teaching by the way.

    • @OnlineSaxAcademy
      @OnlineSaxAcademy  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! At the moment most of the material is for alto and tenor sax, I should be able to send you transposed versions of materials in concert pitch as and when you need them.

      @@OnlineSaxAcademy I would appreciate that. I am self taught and have learned to hear and read in concert pitch, not in Eb or Bb.

    Very Great tone and sound coming out of your alto.(ofcourse its more from you than from the saxophone) Great fluent playing, something to strive for. I see your fingers fly far away from the keys (as a visual aide for your students). But it seems not to degrade your great timing and sound. Or could you tell me, if it does a little bit?

    • @OnlineSaxAcademy
      @OnlineSaxAcademy  Год назад

      Thanks Harry! Yes, this is to help people see what I’m doing. I would recommend keeping your fingers as close as possible through, this will help you with faster passages and overall timing.
