As a flight attendant, I'll give you a tip. On an Airbus 330 (typical international flights) the middle bathrooms in coach have a latch up at the top and it opens up to one big bathroom. You go to one, have your honey go to the other and meet in the middle. You're welcome ;)

My parents had 4 kids. Growing up we each got 1 big gift. And some small gifts, and some stocking stuffers. Worked great for us.

It’s because her face looked slimmer plus they did dark eye makeup with those lashes. She’s usually more natural and light with her eye makeup while Tia sticks with the darker and more seductive eye makeup.

Unless you have a private jet or in business, how the hell do you even get it on up in the air. Everyone can see you go to the bathroom and I can't even reach to wipe my ass in that tiny cubicle. It's pretty ridiculous.
Someone commented saying they're a flight attendant & if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the plane theres a latch on the wall in front of the toilet & it connects to the other bathroom to make a bigger area & you could each go separately & meet in the middle but I guess it's only on certain planes🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

My love language is giving gifts though 😭 I think as long as your children are not just expecting them and are appreciative, there shouldn’t be a problem with getting more gifts. They don’t even have to be big gifts :)
That's my love language as well. I don't the amount of things you buy being dictated by other people and what they think is too much.

That’s what we do in our family as well. They give away to make room for something new. They know it’s to help someone else who may not be able to have gifts for Christmas and it helps them understand what Christmas is truly about.

Probably my favorite video so far from this channel. Adrienne and her adorable flight phobia haha. I always found it interesting my parents always gave me more quantity of little gifts and the boys usually got less more expensive gifts. Or there'd be something I asked for that they'd say " this is your Christmas present". Occasionally they'd do the surprise thing but I was pretty easy... There's always some craft project I'm working on. :)
Dang I guess I grew up blessed I always had more than 4 presents probably more than 10 and I thought that wasn't a lot as a child. It really makes you have perspective and be grateful❤

My younger sister was so cute, she would take ALL day to open her gifts because she would open it, play with it for a while, and then open another one. She always appreciated any gifts she got!
Dont expect kids to appreciate gifts when parents out here don't give their children wisdom through knowledge! A uninsightful kid will never appreciate gifts if its just handed to them without them giving knowledge of wisdom on to them. You bring kids into this world you guid them on the right path! Dont expect your children to appreciate you as parent if you have only given them materialistic stuff!

Generally my parents give us 2 gifts, sometimes 1 but because my mom has a traditional gift she always does. She always gets my siblings, my dad and I pajamas. We open those on christmas eve and sleep in them that night. My dad also always tells the children in our family the same story every year from his childhood. Those are my 2 favorite traditions
Omg my family have only been buying Christmas gifts for the kids in the family since the beginning of time! This was always a normal thing. The adults come together, drink, eat, talk and the kids play with their toys or board games or read their books etc. After you grow up, Christmas doesn't excite you for _Santa climbing down the chimney and leaving a gift for you_ . Those things are still exciting for children and they get happy to get gifts on Christmas ya know.
As a flight attendant that has experienced turbulence, please know that 99.99% of the time, you are so safe in the air!!
Not all airlines have that special changing room. It also depends on the aircraft that you’re flying on. Also mile-high club can occur a fine👀

My family wasn't rich by any means but I usually got at least 4 gifts, but then again, none of them were very expensive so I probably had a $100 cap. Again, I was NEVER disappointed. My mother always had me make a priority list and she would get as much as she could. I was a child of the 80s and 90s and there wasn't all these expensive gadgets and things. I never would even have thought of asking for a TV for my room for instance. My parents had beliefs about not lying to their kids so I never believed in Santa and I was grateful for my parents.

giving kids a lot of gifts doesn’t automatically make them ungrateful or unappreciative. if you teach your kids those qualities, they will have them. when i was a kid, i would honestly get like 30+ gifts from my parents. it gave them so much joy to have a tree full of gifts of xmas morning. if you can afford that, i say do it. there’s only one christmas every year and it should be the most exciting moment for the kids as they walk downstairs to see the gift.

when I was 6 or 7 I was traveling somewhere and I accidentally walked into a couple doing the mile high club in the bathroom I was so traumatized. LOL. My dad came behind me and covered my eyes.

My mom just likes to give . We pay our own Bills and buy ourselves everything we need and want all year so when she finds those things we havent gotten , she jumps in
Yeah my twin sister and I always picked out a “present” a more expensive one, and then we get a bunch of other stuff (mostly clothes)! And stocking stuffers. I was kind of shocked when people said that 4 was a lot!
In my country we got gift for New Year not Christmas. It was usually just big bag with sweets and maybe some toy or something like that. Christmas is religious thing for my people and it is about being with family and respecting traditions which we have a lot for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Ofc people nowadays buy gifts since west has influence here but most still our Christmas does not revolve around gifts and I like that.
I used to wake up and the tree used to be loaded down. I’ve always ben grateful though.

Reduce the four gifts to two. One: bring something they need to wear or read. Two: maybe...something they want within a reasonable budget.

I dont get like tons of gifts but all the adults on my husbands side get like gift cards or handmade gifts. i dont expect gifts but when i do get one im extremely grateful and i always try to return it
In my family we only do presents for the kids and the adults do a secret Santa (and we put a maximum amount of money, like 15 or 20$)
As a Christian, personally, I will never make Christmas about gifts or Santa. My parent never lied to us about Santa. We always knew Christmas was to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. And my mom even told us about the history of Saint Nick to explain where Santa Claus originated from. So I want to have my kids make Christmas about giving to others in need rather than receiving. And about praising God for Jesus

The amount of gifts isn't necessarily relevant; that part usually becomes a factor when a foundation of appreciation, understanding, and humility hasn't been built. It's important that the children have some sense of gratitude and hard work that is instilled as soon as possible. It's most important that they know the number and size of the gifts aren't the proof of how much you love them and how much they matter as people. You also want to be careful with using gifts to ease guilt or be lazy; only showing your care through material items or using material items to always save the day will majorly backfire. Because of their place in society, children usually cannot see the whole picture; they usually only see what you show them and can get used to things like people do after a while. Reinforcing positive ideals will help ensure that they don't become spoiled or feel deprived. I will get my future children however many things I feel like, especially when they've earned them.
We've been on several different income levels throughout my childhood; I've gotten from 0 to 7 gifts at Christmas time. Did I love getting all of the toys I wanted some years? Hell yeah, of course I enjoyed receiving things I liked from someone I cherish. But Christmas was just as special when it was only us holding each other because I knew the gifts didn't represent how much my mommy loved me and how important I was in this world. Communicate with your children and let them understand. Also, strive to understand them and what's in their best interests. You'll find the right answer for your family.
