Excellent job. My wife could not listen to this song because her brother, a police officer, was killed at a young age and this was played at his funeral as he requested. She is now in Heaven too.

The significance to the song and the fact I sent it to her as she was literally fighting for her life after being in an awful wreck. Glad she was here to listen to it. Yeah he's definitely a good one to follow if you're into playing you can learn so much from watching him but learning and playing it as good as he does I don't know about all that. I don't think it's possible to be as good as he is. Truly blessed with talent that is almost unreal.

During my teenage years this was my favorite song. I loved the Guns N’ Roses cover. I like this better it has more soul. This is the best cover for this song I’ve heard.

Interesting backstory connecting some dots. GnR toured with a band called Cold Chisel, who are legendary in Australia. Chisel did a fantastic cover of KOHD, which was no doubt the inspiration for the GnR cover. The Chisel singer, Jimmy Barnes, revered here in Australia still, had a solo career , and his main guitar player was Mark Lizotte, aka Johnny Diesel, and this guitar is his signature with the Oz company, Maton, so it's a really appropriate cover.
And Jimmy Barnes daughter is a vocalist working with Joe Bonamassa.
