ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

There's so much love and pride in Niall's eyes when he's looking at Huntley. I used to think Niall was just an idol from a boy band. I didn't know he's such a talented and solid music person. He's humble, confident and big-hearted. Love and respect him!

This was the best rendition of Knockin on Heaven’s Door I’ve ever listened to. With Niall’s story teller voice and Huntley’s husky tone and those high notes and harmonies, it’s just incredible. Great job gentlemen! I’d listen to a full album of your collaboration any day

I was a Police Officer for over 23 years. In 2022 I had a widow maker heart attack. I had to be brought back three times. I was medically retired. When I heard this song for the first time after I sat and cried like a baby. I loved what I did and poured my heart into it. When they sing “Mama take this badge from me

I can feel your pain in what you wrote and I’m sorry your passion/career ended before you were ready for it to end. I don’t know the feeling but I sympathize with you. My Dad was a Police Officer for 15 years and then a detective for another 6 years after that. He wasn’t ready to retire either. I don’t know if your medical retirement would allow this (so just an idea or something you could look into) but my dad picked up a part time job that kept his LEO blood still pulsing, by transporting inmates to court and back.
I lost him 1 year ago and now I have his retired badge and service weapon 😞. Please take care of yourself and know within your heart of hearts *you made a difference and there’re people out there still thinking of you and thanking you for saving their lives* and I humbly thank you for your dedication and service, as well sir 💙

Fun fact: Bob Dylan received a Nobel Prize in Literature for his song writing, this song was written for a Movie and depicted a dying Sheriffs last words, the Movie was Billy the KId.

This was such a perfect song choice for both Huntley and Niall and both of them did a fantastic job with it. Their harmonies were so beautiful and equally matched.
This was the best duet of the night...not only was it the best contestant/coach performance, but it outshined all the "Guest" performances too. Huntley was not my personal choice to win but all of the top five were deserving of the win.

This was a really good song because it shows that Huntley can sing not just rock/powerful, almost growling songs, but this one he was actually singing with his vocals. He has a great range of vocals.
