Samsung Pay Has A Problem - I'm Switching To Google Pay
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 3 авг 2024
- Samsung Pay is Samsung's proprietary mobile payment system. You can use it on the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, zFold, and zFlip. For years, I recommended it to people simply because of the versatility and rewards that you can earn. Samsung began crippling Samsung Pay with the removal of MST support and from there, they slowly made it worse and worse by stripping away the perks. I discovered something with Samsung Pay's cash back rewards that was my tipping point. I will no longer be using or recommending Samsung pay in the future. More-so, I'll be switching to Google Pay and Google Wallet moving forward. From Watch the video to find out why! Stay tuned for more Samsung content, including S22 Ultra tips and tricks, future Samsung Galaxy coverage, and possibly more content on a Google Pay new offer.

What do you think about Samsung Pay? Are you switching to Google Pay after seeing this?
I may still use it because I'm super frugal and those cashback are super incentivising (just gotta rush and use it)but if there is no cash back purchase incentive...going with gpay. But yeah inactivity... What the???
Thanks for this information. I didn’t realize they did away with MST or that Google Pay was cross platform. I just switched as I use both operating systems.
It would make me mad losing money earned. Why would they do that?
I have been using sam pay for years but am not happy with them getting rid of the rewards.
Can you make a video on Google pay and all the features and settings? I have never used Google pay.
In the UK Samsung Pay is linked to Curve and offers all kinds of rewards and cash back. MSR is old technology and no seen as secure so being phased out by bank and merchants that is not a Samsung issue.
It straight up fails my payments, so Im ditching it and going back to google pay.
The best part of Samsung Pay was the surprised look store owners had when they said that (they always called it Apple Pay) won't work here. I would say nothing and while the machine said processing and my receipt was printing out, the store owner would just be staring wide eyed.
Samsung reasoning for removing it was because most businesses are upgrading their machines. However, here in the US, that will takes years. Therefore, they should have kept it for a few more years.
The feature that distinguished them from Google Pay and Apple Pay they get rid of. Makes no sense.
Took every word right from my mouth. Well said.
Honestly one of the big reasons to consider a Samsung device like S-Pen. Idk wtf Samsung is thinking but they keep neutering their products to the point that I'd rather use another Android phone to dual weld with my iPhone.
@@snowfox7739 I left them after they gave the base s22 a regular lcd screen when the s21 base and s10 had OLED. FOR THE SAME PRICE
Unfortunately mate , this is the modern Samsung , they giveth , then taketh away.
You could see Samsungs change of attitude and marketing from the note ten when hardware features started to disappear continuously off the handsets with every model after that , and the down speccing of some models , and then the accessories that once always came in the box with earlier galaxy models disappeared too.
I was always a galaxy boy up until the note 9 , in my view Samsung has overtaken apple as the meanest company .
I still love my old note 9 , but I no longer buy Samsung stuff.
@@mikldude9376 Totally agree. Samsung used to cram everything into their flagship phones and now they have removed so much that you can barely recognize a Samsung phone with any other Android phone but they continue to raise their prices. I still have my Note9 and almost tempted to put my Sim card back in that. So many times I've gone shopping in the past and didn't have to worry if I left my wallet at home or in the car. Very disappointed in the trajectory that Samsung is heading.
I'll use Samsung Pay just to spread out my information.
Google doesn't need to know everything.
MST was a feature that got people talking to me about my phone and get them interested in Samsung. Samsung should have kept it for its self perpetuating marketing abilities alone!
It probably just isn't that big of a market for them, since most parts of the worlds don't even have the swipe terminals anymore, some never had. In the grand scheme of things, they probably just didn't want to keep a feature they almost exclusively had to cater to the USA.
I was planning to upgrade from my OnePlus 7 pro to samsung galaxy series in next couple of years but on learning that samsung removed MST, I would rather go with iPhone.
Since my S9+, I would use Samsung Pay to pay for everything and recommend it to everyone. BUT on my S22U, the fact that I can't pay on old devices because they took MST away is mind boggling ... This is a Flagship phone, right? I've been thinking about going to Google Pay and will probably give it a try. Nice to know someone else is out there frustrated like me lol. Great video
Yep, Samsung has ruined their mobile payment platform. It’s really sad…
I'm right there with you. No SD, no MST, oversold specs, horrific pre-purchase event, pushing down setting changes (TMo+Samsung only). Is the camera on the S22U really worth it? I'm done with Samsung after being loyal for a long time.
@@BowWowPewPewCQ dont forget the base Note 20 had 256gb of storage when the S22U is the same note phone but give you 128gb and you have to pay extra for the 256gb…
@@MJT-DA How about a larger battery, 45W charging, 2nd gen fingerprint reader, 120Hz Quad HD+ refresh rate, 10x optical & 100x digital zoom, 40 MP selfie cam, 1750 nits brightness, Snapdragon 8 Gen1 to name a few? The S22U has better specs in every key regard than the Note20U, which you are overlooking.
Things like MST and SD cards are old tech that are on their way out. You expecting Samsung to cling on to them is not a reasonable demand. Tech moves fast.
In my area MST is a big deal. A lot of older POS machines. I lost MST when upgrading to the S22U. I've used Samsung Pay since it first came out. I was also aggravated a little by the zero amount charge that they added to every transaction that I had to delete when reconciling. The rewards were nice but I learned years ago not to mess with it because they kept changing the rules. When I upgraded phones I looked at nothing but Samsung because of MST.
I'm now done with Samsung Pay. Considering the absolute nightmare with ordering the S22 and the deceptive specs/marketing Samsung did I am also done with Samsung phones, period.
MST is what set Samsung Pay apart from the competition. I used it all the time where I live on my note 20 ultra. Was devastated when they removed it from the S21ultra. Won't be using it anymore. Didn't make sense to remove such a great feature and handicap it.
This..... Is a bummer. I was so excited to use Samsung Pay as my primary service but now this is ridiculous. A big thumbs down to Samsung Pay. They already make tons of money and they still wanna do this. Not fair to the company's loyalists. Thank you for the heads up Jonathan. 🔥🔥
I've been using Samsung pay for a year & haven't had any issues with the app. I love it! I tried Google pay for a day & couldn't function lol. I think it's more so preference, but great video nonetheless.
I switched to Google Pay as my primary payment app for the exact same reason that you described in the video. The points going away every month was extremely aggravating. I never used the cash back but after seeing that the cash back is deducted from your account due to inactivity, that is ridiculous! I am still using a Galaxy S10+, with MST. In 2022, there aren't very many credit card machines that don't have the 'tap' logo. So I can see why the newer phones S21 the S22 do not have MST technology hopefully they've taken that sensor out and replaced it with another sensor probably the S pen. I still think that the Samsung phones are better than Google phones or iPhones. But for electronic payment I will use Google Pay, forever!
I used to think Samsung phones where the bee’s knee’s too and the earlier ones I think they where ,
not so much these days , after 9 years of android I have jumped ship to the dark side, and though it’s not perfect I’m liking it, and imo the iPhones do get the basics right , I still love my old note 9 and use it too , but I’m done with galaxy’s when the old girl Karks it.
I'm sure that even if your older phone has MST, it may stop being supported and stop working. Does Samsung still update it? Security updates?
I'm imagining MST on my galaxy watch 4. Never having to get off with my wallet anywhere would be sick.
I was very reluctant to upgrade to the S22 Ultra from my Note 10+ because of the MST thing. I debated it for a couple months. Ultimately I did upgrade, but I hate that I now have to carry a card with me everywhere and risk losing it, because most of the stores I shop at use MST. I haven't used Samsung Pay since I got the S22U about a month ago, because there's nowhere to use it. Probably not much point in switching to Google Pay either, but I am going to do so just on principle. I see no reason to reward Samsung for ruining a good thing and inconveniencing me.
My grocery store didn't have Tap To Pay and I enjoyed using MST. I'm the same. I don't use Samsung Pay as much now. Loved using it before all the features were removed.
Shouldn't have upgraded then, a Note 10+ is still a very nice phone in 2022 or for the next 3 to 4 years but I agree with you
@@arthurbttf Well I had other features and other factors to consider, not just MST.
once they took out mst i stopped using samsung pay overall and went back to my card
I have the Note 20 ultra, I had no idea they dropped MST support on newer phones. I wasn't upgrading anytime soon anyways, but that really sucks they dropped it.
New subscriber here. This video was super helpful. Will definitely be using Google Pay going forward. Ty!
It's a good thing that I don't care to have the latest hardware. Once I replace my note 10+, I'll still have the option of the note 20 ultra, and keep the magnetic stripe functionality.
So what's interesting is that I never actually went in to redeem anything so my cash back from before is still there. They only charge the maintenance fee when you actually sign up and agree to activate the debit card.
This is pretty deceptive. Just like how the devalued the points for using Samsung Pay before getting rid of them. I havent' switch yet but getting closer to moving everything to Google Pay as Samsung Pay continues to devalue itself.
Exactly! Especially, with the merge of Google Wallet and Google Pay happening soon. Samsung stopped caring about Samsung Pay a while back, but now it's like they are taking it out on their customers.
I was annoyed when upgrading to the Galaxy Watch 3 caused me to lose MST on my watch. I was only really using MST at Walmart with my Note 20 Ultra, but Walmart figured out how to block that.
So with my upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 4 I moved to Google Pay. And with the S22 Ultra again no MST...
I never really used the rewards anyway. So there is no reason to ever look at Samsung Pay again.
It turns out I actually like Google Pay better.
As soon as they got rid of MST I ditched Samsung Pay. Also they didn't integrate my nearby public transportation card into mobile wallet, but Google Pay did. If they ever go back to MST then maybe I'll use it.
Still using Samsung Pay and MST with my Galaxy Note20 Ultra at my local Kroger as the pay terminals don't have NFC. Every employee says I'm the only person paying with a phone. I use MST in various other stores, too, and it really surprises people. I use Google Pay, too, at other merchants. I agree, Samsung Pay isn't as "fun" without the rewards. It's definitely a reason to not feel attached to MST and upgrade to a new phone.
MST was very cool. They dropped that.
The point system was nice in that I could use it to cover the cost of skins, themes, etc...
HOWEVER, if you didn't use your points, they dropped off after a year. I tried to save up enough points to get something worthwhile from their reward store and it was impossible. I used it to even pay for bills, which were here point generators (they removed that ability) Then they removed points.
Rewards have never worked well for me. Rarely is there a reward that matches up with the things I need. Nor does the system help in anyway. If there is a reward in a store, just auto-apply it.
It might be time to put Samsung pay in the corner with Bixby
Thanks for this informative video, Jonathan. I'm going to that your advice and switch to Google Pay as well. Samsung Pay is not what it use to be, 😥.
Rural living means MST ain't going away any time soon. I have noticed as millennial business owners start setting up shop the tide is turning.
I noticed it to just recently and not have about $10 i owe now. Do i need to pay that and close the account? I was going to try to call them about it next week.
Good tips! Thank you for the details and I will turn back to google pay as well.
I always use Samsung pay,, and will continue using it, we never had the rewards in the uk, so I won't miss them, plus I don't care about Cross platform, as I will never use an I phone. Samsung pay has never failed me, so I havnt got a problem with it.
I feel that. I’m glad it’s working out for you.
Yeah but Samsung pay should at least work on other android phones and it doesn't . Im too much a tech nerd to lock myself down to only Samsung phones
as of 2023, samsung pay only lets you use contactless payments like google pay if google pay is not available in some stores and they have an issue where i CAN'T get a samsung pay cash card account started and the number to that customer service does not work,, it only asks for your number to the samsung account and it will hang up its wrong number!!
In Australia, 99% of machines are NOT using MST tech. Non issue here. Plus samsung has built in Knox security.
Knox security is great but it’s not a reason to keep using it IMO. Google Pay offers the same security and tokenization as Samsung Pay.
I know. We had apple pay here in way more locations before the Americans did. When I went to the US in 2018, I was baffled with just how uncommon it was. Lucky I use a Samsung and could use tap and go payments everywhere.
I don't think you understand. You see, the technology behind MST is that all took needed was a magnetic strip reader which has been in existence for decades worldwide. Simply put, the MST tech was basically your phone mimicking swiping your credit card. This was the magic behind Samsung's mobile payment system.
Samsung Pay ate up $64 in rewards cash with their inctivity fee and those times I tried using the reward card it was declined. Samsung has ruined the reasons I used their platform, the rewards disappeared and it is no longer functional on older systems. I used to praise Samsung Pay, not anymore.
THIS! Thank goodness I only lost like $10 but holy crap $64 is a good bit. So stupid!
My biggest concern with Google Pay (now Google Wallet) is that there's no secondary security pass. Anyone can use it once they get a hold of your unlocked phone. Unlike Samsung Pay and Apple Pay where they ask for password, fingerprint, or face ID before purchase.
I have biometrics set up on my Google Pay (Wallet) app. From the settings within the app you go to privacy and security to set it up.
Does mst work in Walmart or Kroger? Or did they implement technology to ensure that it doesn’t work without a physical credit card or Walmart/Kroger apps?
When will you upload your Samsung s22 plus review?
Places like Walmart, Lowe's, home Depot don't NFC payments yet . While waiting for the s22 ultra to come out I purchased a note 10+ and it had MST and I forgot how much I missed it.
One of the worse things the did to Samsung pay was get rid of MST technology. Hadn't used it since
I agree. After that it’s been getting worse and worse.
Pay a little more, continue to get less....it's an ongoing theme....
Can u do video how to purchase Google or Samsung pay step by step .. I've never used neither and just activated my debit into this platforms but idk how to use it in the store
MST was possibly dropped to put in the wireless power share. I still use Samsung Pay but it was fun showing people that I could pay without NFC chip in their CC reader.
I believe that NFC just became the default payment because any phone and pay device/cc reader could get it and Samsung didn't want to share the tech with others to try to keep a unique feature to their phones.
The s20u has wireless power sharing and MST so I don't think that's the reason they did it
I did NOT know this! Thanks! I have $6.43 in rewards and now I gotta hurry and use it. WILD. THANKS for this!
No worries man, it’s crazy. I was furious when I saw my rewards were taken from me 😂
Outside the US and a handful of other countries like South Korea and some developing countries, NFC of pretty much standard. MST is less safe than NFC because the retailer gets your actual card details. With NFC your details are tokenised.
Samsung pay is working for me just fine 💙👍
Same here. Lost the rewards I had saved. Samsung killed Samsung Pay in my opinion. MST was big for me and I used to save and use my rewards credit on my new phone purchase. Haven't switched to a Google Pay, but strongly considering it. I have trust issues, I guess. :-)
That Lowe's reader was janky AF. It fell down in slow motion. Lol 😆😆
Help! Whenever I'm at a fast food restaurant's drive thru, when I use Google Pay I hold my phone out towards the card reader to activate the payment but then it requests my fingerprint. I then I have to pull my phone back to do my fingerprint and hold the phone out a second time to make a payment, which is awkward. With Samsung Pay, I could do my fingerprint ahead of time and it would give me 30 seconds to hold the phone uo to the card reader to perform the transaction. What am I doing wrong with Google Pay (using S22 Ultra)?
They took MST off their watches a couple of years ago, too.
I miss that MST
who the h*** makes decisions at samsung? 1st remove the mst, then remove the Wi-Fi Direct file transfer, then add a notch to their tablet!!!! Everything that made them better and stand out they are getting rid of them!!
Which is more secure or are both the same?
Love mst. That distinguished Samsung
Have the Galaxy z fold 2. While most places have NFC. I still purposely use the card swiper for mst!!! And use it all the time with culvers
Samsung mess up getting rid of nsc great video
But can we use google pay in Any Store at all ?
Samsung stole $150 from my Samsung pay rewards wallet. I escalated cases more than once to give them a chance to fix their shady business practices. They failed. It used to be that Samsung was a bit more generous and actually rewarded their loyal customers and supporters. Now they dangle fake carrots and steal back from their customers every chance they get. Ive had Samsung everything for years. Although their products are still best in market in several cases, they really have me second guessing if I want to support them going forward. I left a nasty review for Samsung pay, stopped using it, and will be switching off the Samsung support. They are pety, money grabbing and have poor ethics. Done with them! Thanks for the video, I knew I wasn't the only one with Samsung stealing from me.
They're not "stealing", you just didn't read the terms and conditions properly.
@@TehPotentialz nah man, it's just bait and switch. They offer something to get people hooked and find a way to invalidate it later. Would be better if they just came out and said, "this is costing us too much, so we are pulling the plug, use your rewards now". Instead what they do is slowly handicap the service, set up micro bleeding on everyone's account and zero it all out in their favor. I'm not buying they have a right to do whatever stupid thing they want to do in the name of their savings. They need to answer to ethics, not just legality. They show the same signs of turning their focus away from customer satisfaction in other ways too. Done ✅
@@agoogleuser007 I'm just telling you the facts. The terms and conditions tell you that they do this.
This isn't really about the technical facts @TehPotentialz. This is an "opinion" video and a reaction to a company's decisions, business practices and direction related to customer relations. We know what the stupid terms and conditions say.... That's obvious. We just think it's crap, don't you get that? We are all entitled to our opinion. If I want to use the term stealing, then I will. Effectively that's the way I feel about it and the net result is money I had earned and then was taken through some technicality. You are NOT wrong..... And neither am I.
@@agoogleuser007 you thinking something is stealing doesn't make it stealing or even wrong. Again - terms and conditions exist for every single service in existence. Ignoring them so you can be outraged is dumb.
be careful with google pay, because NFC is not secure, anybody can pair it xd
This was literally my complaints and comments and feedback that I left
In Australia there is no cash back for both Samsung and Google pay, and I find Samsung pay way easier to use and I don't see any reason for me to switch to google pay?
I got you. If it works for you then why switch.
I just tried for the 1st time to use my S22 Ultra at Kroger's & they do not have Tap to Pay & mine didn't work. It didn't work at a gas station either. I tried Both, Samsung Wallet (Pay) & Google Pay.
I opened Wallet, used my finger print to access my card on file & nothing.
I Just took my credit card out & installed it in the terminal.
I'm going to try again later at a Tap to Pay Terminal at my local gas station.. 🤟
Please be aware that a lot of users of Google Pay on Samsung phones have had Google Pay disabled when Samsung have pushed software updates. The Samsung software update last week wiped out Google Pay on my phone so I have switched to Samsung Pay to ensure full compatability.
Best part of the video at the end when the card goes into the machine and the machine falls down. Pieces of junk.
Now I wish I could replace the pay swipe up shortcut bar on my S22U and Fold4 with Gpay.
This video is the first time I've ever heard of MST, why is the us still using swipe anyway? I've not seen somebody swipe their card in real life for roughly 15 years.
My bank card doesn't even let you use it, you have to activate it temporarily beforehand if you wanted to swipe, what's going on?
I just switched to Google too ,because samsung use to hide the last four nmbrs on your card. Now they don't. Now they require u to use your pin .when the pin could be overriden.
Removal of MST, SamsungPay being region locked, my ZFlip’s terrible battery life, Samsung’s lack of support for devices bought from abroad… all made me turn to the iPhone. I believe a phone should be there for our convenience and the moment the phone stops making my life easier and instead does the opposite, then its time to move on
Since I still have my N20U, I use Samsung Pay everywhere! But sounds like I'll have to switch to Google wallet when I upgrade to the S22 ultra. Sad to get rid of Samsung pay 😢
....or don't upgrade the phone if it still works....
can some one confirm that the samsung s22+ can't streaming for expample youtube for more than 10 minutes, and we are just forced to reset connection by set flight mode for a few sec's ?
in uk samsung don't harve agreement all Banks, so you need bank account only brand sansung support
There are several reward companies in the uk that operate in a similar way, if you don't spend your points within 6 months you lose them which basically means you can't save up long term for something that's worth having like a TV or such .. its a scam really
Yeah, it’s so dumb. You work hard to stack up the rewards only to have them taken away. So far GPay has been great at keeping my earnings. That could change though, who knows.
It's only a scam if they mislead you, I'm sure it's in their conditions, but people can't be bothered to read it, so that's on you. If you don't like the conditions, then don't sign up in the first place. I've been using it for years, and will continue to do so.
Google themselves are one of them with any Google Play Store credit that you earn through Google Rewards. It expires after 12 months.
Ever since the update to wallet I can't use my Samsung nsf payment on my note 10+
Samsung Pay withdrew from Thailand the end of last year. It's such a shame as it's the only mobile cashless tap to pay option here. It was a life saving when you left your wallet at home.
I currently use G Pay using a work around as well. Wish it supports in Thailand natively with local bank cards.
Hopefully, they bring support to you, especially with the new Google Wallet launching. So far, GPay has been better for me.
@@OT4Tech Yeah I hope so too. By the way, thanks for the last video. I can now use iMessage on my Galaxy Z Fold 3 ❤️
I tried to add Google wallet on my zfold 3 however it didn't work so I'm stuck with Samsung pay
Samsung Pay lost me when they dropped MST on their phones AND watches.
Bad news i just trying to use google pay and no more longer available june 24 2024 in the USA only can use google wallet after that date
Great video❤
Im from germany and we havnt something like cashback or rewards in gpay or samsung pay...
I have never seen such. I have never lost my rewards.
MST was a huge thing for me. Used it all the time. Most of places I shop don't have google or apple pay. Was planning on upgrading my phone to a new samsung, until I found out recently that Samsung no longer has mst. Such a stupid move, horrible greedy company. Will no longer be buying a samsung.
Why now? Hasn't this been the case since all these phones dropped?
2 things: 1.: MST technology, almost everyone here is talking about, will become obsolete and even non-existent. No problem, even objectively. 2.: I have no problem not using my Samsung Pay, because it's almost like just using my phone in social media. I mean, who doesn't make at least 1 simple purchase with the phone in a month? I've never experienced this problem, because I use it almost every day.
And in my country Google Pay doesn't have Rewards. So... A lot of advantages for SPay and none for GPay. I'll continue to use that one.
What country? Because in almost every single country Samsung took away most rewards from Samsung Pay.
Once I tried saw that GPay was at least 10 times faster to complete a transaction, plus Google has way more discounts and rewards, it was hard to keep using Samsung Pay. It's odd that the rewards are opposite in your country.
@@crowsnest43 This is Brazil.
Interesting. It’s not good that same song the ducks money from your account for not using their service. I feel the same way about Walmart not accepting Apple Pay. This is why I do not recommend shopping at Walmart. Apple Pay is the way to do things for iOS users. When I go to a new place to do business, I always ask the clerk or store manager if Apple Pay is available?
It google pay won't work for me. They kept all my information, they just won't let me do payments with my phone!
although valid reasons, we all know google will abandon this like the past.
Well I'm not an user of samsung pay or google pay yet but seems MST has a security vulnerabilty of eavesdropping
That is true... I am also not happy with this decision... Samsung has tel us all down.. I will stop using samsung pay from now
Don't use Google it will get hack alot. I use samsung pay for secure payment. If they bring back the mst I will use it forever or I can use tap&pay function of the samsung pay.
It's a huge advantage having mst.
Does anyone else have an issue with MST payments via Samsung Pay now?
I imagine it's a software issue, but it keeps auto-turning on NFC when I checkout...even when I always have it disabled.
Which device are you using?
@@OT4Tech SamsungS20 Ultra. Might just be an issue with me because I just started noticing it a week ago.
@@OT4Tech I realized it may be a software update. The app automatically enables the NFC. Trick is to open the app > select payment card > click to initiate (which enables NFC - even when it's disabled) > then go into phone settings drop-down menu to disable NFC > then pay.
Lol...what a pain. But it's the only work-around.
Any old heads out there remember using Google wallet (I mean the old Google wallet) when nobody accepted it. Lol. Then Samsung came out with Samsung pay
Cashier: "Um sir we don't take that here". BEEP! Yes you do. Those were the good old days
Being totally honest, the whole MST thing only really applies to the US because of how far back they are in terms of terminal technology. Here in Canada, I have never experienced a time where tap/contactless payment wasn't available (unless it was BROKEN), so having no met wouldn't really be a big deal. The US needs to catch up and fully adopt he contactless payment standard, it's really bizzare that you guys still need to swipe or instruct your card....
MSP has been gone, hasn't been an issue... Not switching to Google Pay, they already have too much...

Samsung cash back doesn't work all the time.
Samsung pay isn't working with every bank in Denmark. Google does.. the banks in Denmark got there ovn app's, so Denmark are covert without Samsungpay. With Google pay you can pay here and everywhere else. So Samsung is out on this one..
That’s another thing I did not mention in the video. Google Pay is more adopted plus membership passes and event tickets are easier to add.
On my Galaxy I used Samsung pay all the time. I switched to a iPhone, and now I realize that pay is way better than Samsung and google pay which i barely used. I don’t like a rewards point system, vs the cash back you get with pay. That money goes right on your cash card like a debit card. pay is also actuality an option to pay on apps I purchase from. It’s much better IMO.
I still love samsung pay
