I'm really liking this version of Cortex. Really tired of the battles and just wants his own peace but the idea of finally destroying Crash is like a drug addiction to him . Nice character arc.
He’s not even addicted, he’s just constantly getting forced back into the battle by people that use him as a pawn. Uka Uka, N. Tropy, Nitrus Oxide, etc.

What I like about this is that Cortex gets what he wants. A nice big beach. All he needs is a nice big drink and a woman with nice big bags of ice.

Who apart from Nina and the chickens? (EDIT: Ah, some CNK racers) I don't know about canon because these epilogue stuff aren't exactly "canon", I don't think. It's like what Crash 1 did back in the day, but none of those things actually happened (canon).
It is pretty great to see. Although, I would love to see Crunch in the next go-around...

@@black97_0 Oh yeah definitely. As a kid I didn't own a crash game but my friend had all 3; so when I got my first crash game it was "wrath of cortex" and would you believe I hated it.
I wanted to like it but there was something missing from the first 3. I liked the famous voice actors and crunch but that was it; some mechanics were bland others were good but too brief and some were just infuriating, not to mention the story was weak.
But there is something there they can use; just get crunch and the concept of the elementals and just make a brand new game!

With a voice that smooth it now makes complete sense how Crash ended up with a girl like Tawna in the first place.
I know alot of people on here are going to say that 'Crash's talking' or 'Crash shouldn't talk! Burn the heretics!' Calm your titties down! It's suppose to be a joke on the fact that Crash never talks and only babbles! Plus, the end where Uka Uka emerges, I think that leads up to Wrath of Cortex. As long as Uka Uka's in the picture, Cortex's cycle of trying to beat Crash will never end. Perhaps a Wrath of Cortex reimagining or a actual Crash 5 as we are now in the Toys for Bob era of Crash. Either that or DLC which I doubt.

Ok for those who says the 106 ending will make twinsanity possible, 2 things:
1. The twinsanity lab is in a near place around the n.sanity island, that's why you can arrive there with the canoe
2. Cruch should be cannon first, no matter if post wrath of cortex characters are cannon here or not, Cruch must be explained first.

I honestly liked how Crash talked in the end credits. It could be a callback to how he imitated certain actors in his Crash 2 commercial, only he got even better at it over time in-series. I'm kinda surprised he didn't take up ventriloquism or voice acting now. But then again, maybe that could be exactly what he's doing for his part of the epilogue.

Big props to whoever 106%’d this game. It is truly one of the hardest games I’ve tried to Platinum, I surrendered lmao. Currently on Playstation it says 0.3% of players have gotten the Platinum trophy
5:50 Who else believes that Cortex didn't care if he won or lost at this point? If he won, Crash would be out of his hair permanently. If he lost, he gets sent back to the same prison, but with no N-Tropy or Uka to annoy the hell out of him. In other words, the perfect vacation.
Plus, Cortex ended up at a beach, too! Nice nod to Warped there.
I always find Crash doing what he did in the end is just as an amazing twist as he's the one that inadvertently caused himself to be Cortex's biggest failure.

And seeing that him and Aku Aku had that knowledge of the Quantum Masks...even if he didnt account for the NTropys... he now has access to Cortex and his mind, the Quantum Mask, and an already Built Rift Generator that can be repaired as it wasnt completely erased or destroyed (with the perfect 100%+ ending) like The Time Twister or Cortex Vortex. ALL WHILE under the radar of Crash and friends AND Convincing his previous allies (N Tropy and Cortex) that he was Dead/Trapped in time?! Cause remember, he opened that rift in time BY HIMSELF. Imagine what he could do of he had control over the Quantum Masks...Whew if this isnt foreshadowing for an epic game of Uka Uka’s Ultimate Revenge...
They should have made Past Cortex look like he did in the N Sane Trilogy since they used a cutscene from that game.

The boxes didn't break when they fell on cortex. Nice nod to the flashback tapes. The boxes in cortex castle were meant to be unbreakable (but crash broke them anyway.)

You know what? The fact that all games are canon, makes Cortex's changing attitude seem to lead up to Crash Twinsanity. I mean, he said it himself "I am tired of this constant cycle between us"; which him boiling over in Twinsanity, he basically gathered ALL Crash's enemies and a gian mech that was essentially revealed to have a copy of Crash's brain in it (in a cut cutscene); and after ALL of that didnt work, he just goes crazy and starts to brawl with Crash down a mineshaft, not using any of his weapons.

With how we have had 3 crash games and one spyro game the past 3 years I say give it 2 years before we get the next crash game. When there is secret endings there’s definitely going to b something new coming. Plus I think it was pretty obvious that uka uka would come back in the very end so that will be the premise for the next game. Story is getting good and this games story was near perfection
Unlikely. Toys for Bob are probably getting started on another game, however they most likely will share information to other game devs, maybe Vicarious Visions or Beenox.
Activision has an understanding in game development, so they wouldn't force their developers to make a game in a single year.

Of course they are not going to rush out a game but with as much crash we have gotten the past 3 years it’s safe to say that the next installment is not too far away. Of course it’s not going to be rushed but crash 4 came out this year and nitro fueled came out last year. The nsane trilogy came out 2 years before that. So just taking all that into consideration it won’t be long before the next crash game.

After Dr.Cortex's defeat he's thrown into another dimension on a beach by the elemental masks. Crash becomes a radio DJ and talks about how everybody lives their lives. Dr.N.Gin begins a career in smooth jazz music. Dr.Brio in his teridactyl form has been captured and put on display if he survives and will still be alive. Nitros Oxide still lives his racing career and glory. Dr.Cortex's scientists without thier master they decided to open a shop with their blimp filled with crystals. Dingodile rebuilt and franchised his diner and being back in business. Though Dingodile is a lethal chef and doesn't know how to cook and bake due to health code violation his diner shut down. Dingodile really needs to know how to cook and bake and go to cooking school or class or else he'll get arrested and put in jail. After Tawna's adventures she's taken an interest in scrapbooking and even though she's not perfect at it but she's doing her best. Coco Bandicoot begins a career in Esports champion and she's making progress. After Dr.N Tropy and his alternate female counterpart were defeated they're still out there and there's no telling where or when they'll return and they're hard to dispose of. Crash Bandicoot himself is doing just fine doing all the talking on the radio. Crash Bandicoot talking as a radio DJ. Now that's surprising. As for Dr.Cortex even though he's not talked about on the radio he's relaxing on a beach in another dimension until Uka Uka comes from out of nowhere and stalks a frightened Dr.Cortex. Dr.Cortex just can't seem to catch a break and it sucks to be him.
Crash Bandicoot 5? I don't think so! If there were to be a new Crash Bandicoot game one day in the future Crunch Bandicoot and Nina Cortex need to be in it and they need to come back.

When you think about it, this game is Crash Twinsanity modernized and retold in a way different light. Entropy twins replacing the birds (not really, sort of), crash and Cortex working together (sort of), and story involving interdimensional travel. It's kind of similar.
