concert vlog: fletcher @ the fonda north america tour 3/2/2022 (q&a + show)

- I'm only half awake right now, but I wanted to post my vlog from Fletcher's tour ASAP. I went to night 1 of her 2 sold out nights playing LA at the Fonda Theater. I got there at 4:20pm to get ready for the sound check/Q&A package. I brought a letter for Fletcher like I always do when I'm getting ready to meet an artist, and she was so sweet in answering my question and taking the letter. I met some rally cool people waiting in line last night and got a spot close to the barricade.
I've wanted to see Fletcher live since 2019, so this was a long time coming bucket list item for me, and while the wait for Fletcher was looooooong (she didn't take the stage till 10pm), it was definitely worth it for such an amazing show. It was so cool to hear "Undrunk" live since that song started it all for me.

I'm so happy to see some good quality video from Fletcher's concert. I was looking for it since the tour started. I want to be at her concert so badly, but unfortunately, there's no show in my country. Maybe in the future.
I hope you'll get to see her one day! But thank you, that's exactly why I make these concert vlogs because I know how important they were to me when I wasn't able to go to shows as easily as I can now.

I didn't film the entirety, but I do have a few more pieces that didn't make the final cut. I could look into what I have and see about posting them as shorts maybe? Not sure if that would be interesting though

That was actually her entire cover of it! She interpolated it into one of her whole songs so she only covered the ending

i’m going to a show in about two weeks! so excited. is there anything you’d recommend i do so that i’m able to get as close to the stage as possible? so badly want to be up close!
I had an advantage of having the VIP soundcheck package which helped a lot here. But in general, pay attention to your venue. There are often raised areas to the side of the stage that people neglect to go to that can give you a great view even if much of the main floor is filled. Also, it really just comes down to how early you're willing to get there to wait and how good you are at standing your ground when the crowd pushes forward!

You don't get to meet with her one on one! The VIP ticket will be for a group sound check experience. You can raise hands to ask questions and pass along gifts at the VIP experience but there's no photo and you won't get to talk to her by yourself.

Ooooh. I guess my biggest piece of advice is that the openers start at 8:30pm but Fletcher doesn't go on till 10pm, so be prepared for a lot of standing and waiting and a stuffy crowd, so be hydrated, eat a good meal before you go, wear sturdy shoes, and if it's cold where you are, wear layers you can take off. Also, clear bags always make going through security way easier so I recommend getting one and a portable phone battery just in case!

How long was the concert?
Doors were at 7:15 for early entry and 7:30 for general. The two opening acts went on at 8:30 and 9:00 and Fletcher started at 10:00. Her set finished at around 11:20.

I enjoy having these to look back on and share with others who didn't have the chance to go. I only film small parts of each song so that I can enjoy some of my favorite parts in the moment. Everyone enjoys shows in different ways!
