    Bocchi's way of thinking about her future, her wish to shine and her unhappiness with where she is at the beggining I think go to show how well made the anime's characters are. With how incredible the adaptation was people tend to forget the characters carry this anime because they're well made, with motivations fleshed out.

    Nijika inspires Ryou to give bands a second chance. Ryou tells Bocchi to be uncompromising in her songwriting. Bocchi's willingness to change inspires Kita's willingness to improve and be part of that change. The characters all complement each other really well, and that's a large reason why I love this show. Kita is just the flip side of Bocchi and seeing her arc of wanting to see Bocchi be the best is great, everybody lifts each other up slowly but surely and it is very endearing to see when the band starts playing. I used to not like the ending, but if seen from a perspective that she's in a much better place than before? Brilliant.

    The K-On Season 3 we wanted but didn't deserve, amped up with creative deliveries and visualization of jokes, and some good character development in the short span of 12 episodes! Truly was the highlight to send off 2022 in a good light. And yes, Kita best waifu, as you pointed it out, I love how she genuinely wants to see Bocchi succeeds and pushes her to do stuff she otherwise wouldn't be able to.

    Man, that self reflection segment of the video was something else, kinda put me out of the "immersion" of the video and made me realise that yes, esentially it doesn't really matter what you talk about (most of the time) because i'll still keep binging the funi SOL anime reviewer. You may not be the best there is, your presentation may not be it for a lot of people but for me it's just such a vibe to put on one of your videos and watch it in the backround that not a lot of other creators can replicate. Also when you said "nobody cares about the things you do, more than you" it hit me so much on a personal, psychological and spiritual level that just kinda made me want to write this comment in the first place. A quote like that may not be a part of my life but i know that later on it will randomly pop up in my head and i'll remember this channel.

    dude, as an aspiring video essayist, I respect the hustle, especially over niche topics. and also I think I really needed to hear "it's not the raw content you produce, it's the way you go about it," or whatever you said, cause recently I found my specific niche content goal had already started being done by another channel a few months ago and it felt a little bittering, cause I'd had my idea for years, just hadn't had the time or the writing experience to get something I'd be happy with. I'm working towards it now, and hopefully I'll be able to put something together.

      A good time? Yeah I guess.. It would be if I had a start. Now I need to stop being an active neet and go outside, touch grass a minimum of 5 times, find a job, get paid, save money (which is really hard to do since everytime I go to a book store. I leave with at least one manga volume). Then I gotta find a guitar at a reasonable price, become yui and get a standard les paul, find cables for the guitar and amp (that I found on the side of the road), and then this and that.
      Quite the road I'm heading down and I'll probably regret it in the future. But damn it's sure a daunting thought regardless, and I still haven't even made the first move.
      Where was I going with all of this? Oh right *ahem* "Go to bed, goblin boy"

      @@msyon. There are so many resources out there, more than any other instrument from what I've seen, that can help you out. Best of luck, and I'll go to bed whenever I feel like it dammit

    • @msyon.
      @msyon. Год назад +1

      @@Totaraum That sure is something to give thought to. I think playing and learning the guitar is something I "wish" to do, not something I want to do. My main or really only problem is commitment (or lack there of) but that can be labled as a skill issue as far as I'm concerned. Either way you can't go back on a decision once you've made one can you? I can laugh and pity myself all day, but I think I'll at least enjoy the next few years of my life. Thank you
      Also, I'm just saying. It doesn't matter if you don't feel like sleeping. You really should, I do not care if it's day or night where ever you are in this current time and place. Sleeping helps to ease the mind and mental state of ones self. (To a certain degree that is)

    As a rock guitarist I obviously liked this show, but I felt the character writing at many times reduced its characters into gags and was scared to go into deeper themes with them. I loved Kita and bocchi but felt like I never saw more than gags with the other two. I hate how people compare it to k on but I prefer the visual story telling and themes of it over bocchi. I will say the album that came out for bocchi was INSANELY GOOD. SOME OF THE BEST MUSIC DAMN. It def goes hard on animation and takes its risks there and succeeds with that but it feels like a slice of life for people who can't stand the slow progression of many slice. I think I need to rewatch it to give it a fair opinion

      I will say, k on in no way, shape or form is objectively better than bocchi. Being a k on fan myself, I thought 12 ep of bocchi was significantly better than all of k on with less than half the episodes. On top of that there's no real struggle, tension, or pressures in k on. It is good vibes tho. Also I'm pretty sure in terms of development, there's a lot more in bocchi. I think youre just being nostalgic

    • @k-ondoomer
      @k-ondoomer Год назад

      @YaBoi Japles not at all I just rewatched the series. Bocchi for me will never come close to the thematic development of k on and that's fine you don't see that. Season two of k-on adds alot of maturity to the show and develops each character fully. Bocchi doesn't even come close to me as it doesn't have a second season to develop its characters what ever tension or plot bocchi had didn't grab me as much as the simple and intimate character development k-on had.
      The directing shot framing and technical expertise of director naoko yamada is light-years ahead of bocchi. It's not even close imo. I'll never hold bocchi in the same league as stuff directed by her
      Bocchi was probably the second anime I saw after k-on since I got into the medium in July, watched it and the movie twice before bocchi so that nostalgia comment is wrong lol

      @@k-ondoomer nah I'm at like 400 anime you can even check my mal. I never once thought kon would be near fma, aot, cyberpunk etc. But bocchi is, and it's beating shows like chainsaw man. As a guitarist I thought the notes, chords, and timing were all much more pronounced in bocchi too no? Either way I respect kon, great show, but not a masterpiece in any regard, but it also 10 years old and kyoani did a great job at the time

    • @k-ondoomer
      @k-ondoomer Год назад

      @YaBoi Japles I don't care how complex the music is I like both of them and reducing music to just its technical level is not something I'm into. I don't care how many animes you've seen or anything I hold k on and higher regard and that's just my opinion. We can agree to disagree. I'm nearly done learing never forget note for note and still play k on songs when i feel like them. I've seen many of the classics and most of kyoto animations work but I still prefer k on. You don't see what I see in it and it's fine art is subjective
      Also I'll take k on over aot and fma any day without hesitation
