- It's our second day at the incredible Phantasialand resort, and we're back for more rides on their many world class attractions! We experience more of Hotel Matamba, do some rides we missed out on the day prior, try new food, see a show, and marathon the crap out of Taron!

I sometimes forget how awesome it is to have Phantasialand just a 2 hour drive from my home. Glad you guys enjoyed it, looking forward to the rest of the vlogs.

2:57 I think this is because of how the station, as it's completely underground, is very tight and there's not much space for people to walk around. Also, the baggage locker is right next to the train, so if the gates would open at the same time as the restraints are being opened, there's 64 people (32 getting off, 32 getting on) running around in this tight space, trying to get their bags in and out of the locker.

I am so glad that you guys did 2 days instead of the 1 day your did on the Trip before. Its always awesome to see how people react to Phantasialand and makes me feel very lucky to live close by. Cant wait for your next videos, keep it up!

I wish you could have spent a little more time in Köln (Cologne). It's one of my favorite places to visit. It's got such an interesting, welcoming culture and one of the centers for Fasching (German Mardi Gras). Even though it's not perhaps the most beautiful city in the world, the promenade along the Rhein River is awesome in good weather. One of my favorite things to do is buy a couple beers or wine and sit on the banks of the Rhein and people watch. That church you happened across has the tomb of the magi (supposedly remains of the 3 kings from the Bible). It's a very famous cathedral. Also, I wish you could have shown that back end of Phantasialand. I know there aren't many attractions back there, but it's such a cool, quiet, wooded area that also has cool theming all along the way. I envision that it would be a great place for a picnic or for those overwhelmed by all the hussle bussle of the park to have a bit of peace.
In Cologne it is called Karneval not Fasching.
@@brittariedel3446 you're absolutely right. My family is from Mainz (another center for Mardi Gras in Germany), so Im used to the term Fasching. I myself have never been to Karneval, but I grew up with Fasching.👍

Omg!😯🤩no way. You mean you want to make a business/company for people to travel around the world for just theme parks and to ride rides (like coasters)??❤️🔥I don’t get how or why this doesn’t already exist but I really hope you can make this idea come to fruition 🤞🤞all goes well for you guys. If I had the time and money to do the world theme park tour I have wanted to do for years, I’d be gone for nearly a year. I don’t know how coaster studios has done their European trip in such a tight time scale. I much prefer to take a slightly more leisurely approach to this as well as the fact my current health situation prevents me from “going crazy” (ie I get tired easily and can’t stand or walk for many hours a day without pain or discomfort of some kind) or the fact I need regular breaks too. Sorry for rambling.

I live 30 min drive away and go once in 10 years lol...Klugenheim is from 2016 and they keep adding things. You guys are right its one of the most detailed parks in the world..but people that live in Germany are used to certain places...im glad that you guys also talked ok about Movie Park the one people trashed alot...i only remember the park when it still belonged to Warner Brothers and it was really good..now it needs some renovation and other things..most people go there during Halloween cause its the best park for it. About phantasialand welp its not that cheap for us and the waiting times can be a pain in the ...! However the quick pass plus option for 20€ is new now which u can use only twice..but its also for Taron n Black Mamba etc...thanks for your positivity..most german vloggers need it ...😅

Aw man, I think you guys barely missed out on the new Adventure Trail in Africa. A shame, especially since you can get awesome offride footage and I think its a better Funhouse attraction than Hotel Tartüff.
True. Also, Crazy Bats and Talocan were fixed later that week. They have to return asap, I guess.

I've done Taron when it runned insanely fast and the death spot before the 2nd launch and it was pretty snappy

Not sure when you went but we took advantage of the queen's jubilee to go over in June last year for a Thurs and Fri and if anything it was even deader than when you were there, glorious weather. The challenge was walking the queues slow enough to vlog, and not drooling too much entering Rookburgh
you guys got super lucky with the queues. I visited on a Thursday and I waited over an hour for F.L.Y and about 30-40 min for Taron, so I managed to get 2 rides on F.L.Y. and 3 on Taron.

Would y'all ever do a budget breakdown or a BTS of how yall planned this trip? A trip like this is on my bucket list and would love to hear the pros and cons of doing a long coaster trip like this! Loving the vlogs, keep it up!!! 💯 👌
We've talked a bit about it in some Live Q&A's we've done, but we can try and talk about it more in the future!
Don't know which came first in terms of design/prototyping and although being different, I definitely believe Vekoma piggybacked their development costs between F.L.Y. and Cosmic Rewind for the car pivot functions. It's absolutely brilliant engineering on Vekoma's part.
I also have dreams about those fruit cups...man I miss those
I think of Black Mamba as a ride where the snake bites you in the beginning, after that you experience everything in a rush and everyting fades around you to black out in the end.

Fly queue isn't "way to long", most of the time it's filled up to the entrance (or nearly)...
But yeah when you luck out like you did you probably have a long walk to do.
They soft opened FLY in september 2020 when park attendance was limited by covid and it used to go down every other day, sometimes multiple times a day.
Good to see that they improved the uptime. And the que does go pretty much all around.
Also at the end of the day Colorado adventure has almost no line and often ride ops will let you keep your seat so you can do it 3 times or so in a row, can definitely recommend!
Taron at night would seal your choice :)

I know North American has a ton of theme parks with a massive array of rides, but how can any have no interest in European parks?!🤨🤯🤷♀️. Years ago I had no idea what was available on the mainland, but I plan to tour all the parks I can and ride as many rides as possible 😃❤️🔥👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏!!
F.L.Y. was closed when I was near the station, didn't have time to ride it for the rest of the day. So yeah... still not ridden that one. I'm Dutch though, so it's not too far away.
On ride footage would make this video even more legendary

@@CoasterStudios their sister park Toverland in the Netherlands (2h drive from Phantasialand) does! They are very friendly towards vloggers and their guests, probably because they have the name not in their favour (magic land) and need all the publicity they can get. Which is sad because it's actually a very, very pretty park. Not as large as Phantasialand, but almost on par quality wise

it's incredible that F.L.Y. had bad operations (only 2 trains and not using the unload stations) and a lot of downtime at least 1 hour during each one of the two days of my visit...i'm really unlucky
I think I said this in your day 1 vlog, but I want WDW to bring back their concept for Fire Mountain using Vekoma's flying launch coaster model. If none of you know what I'm talking about, just look it up. It would be awesome.

When she was talking about the inversions on FLY compared to a B&M Flyer, I'm confused what she meant. Are you saying B&M Flyers are rough with the inversions or is it the more intense feeling? Cause I would think that more intense feeling on the B&M inversions would be better.
She's saying that FLY was much more graceful and natural
B&M flyer inversions are intense, but don't feel like flying, especially the pretzel. While I reserve judgement, FLY seems like it might not break the illusion, though still quite busy. It's good to see this ride is causing some discussion of the issues with the original wave of flying position coasters.

5:00 the only breakdown I’ve ever seen on Fly was when some idiot blocked the queue line with a trash can 😂
When I visiten in 2019, it was a dry day with some dust in the air, so when I came out of the train station there were actual "god-rays" shining down on the cathedral. Tried to take pictures of it, but the camera couldn't capture it properly :(

Guys, how much does a trip like this cost? How many parks/countries in how many days have you visited?
We visited 24 parks and a dozen countries
So deep down do you love of loath quick queue . Not a fan especially when my coaster fanatic kids want me to dish out that crazy amount of extra cash

B&M ‘s flying coaster design is about 18 years older than Vekoma’s. Not saying Vekoma’s isn’t great but to discredit B&M so easily when the technology was way different back then vs now really is odd.
🙄 They’re both flying coasters, so even if one is older it’s totally fair to compare and critique what’s different and what a great job Vekoma did with the advanced technology. Don’t think it’s odd at all. They all ride a lot of roller coasters and share their thoughts and in order to provide a frame of reference or critique they talk about similar coasters!

No droppable items allowed because you go over the crowds. They even have metal detectors.
I got in trouble becuase I forgot to take my earbud out. Apparently with the speed you go you could severely hurt someone.

We probably shouldn't be ridiculing Matt for his pronunciation of Katowice, considering how badly Tyler butchers it (you literally got ONE syllable right). In Poland w's are pronounced like v's and c's (in that location) are pronounced "ts". So it's "kah-toe-VEE-tseh" so please pronounce it properly when you go there tomorr- ... Oh wait, nevermind...
