I just saw this video and...As always oh wow. It's so soothing and the sound is so shiny. It really shows off your work on our kalimba with the bass and really high keys. Wonderful arrangement, might use this to fall asleep. Wonderful.
The view is amazing, but your arrangement and cover are something more than that. Never heard anyone can play kalimba that beautiful. Really heartfelt 😳💕💕
Oh Thank you so much Sher. Your word is so so much mean to me. I always want to introduce to people what could kalimba done. My playability of kalimba is kind of a joke to good players (because I'm very bad at multi-tasking so that's why I record bass and melody separately and stitch together later on...), but still I want to show to people the true beauty of kalimba, when it plays like orchestra.
@@MrKalimba yes, you should introduce more, especially that you play kalimba with your self hand-built kalimba. I'm also amazed with the sound of those high notes your kalimba could make. I don't think any common 17-keys kalimba will ever reach that sound quality and sustain.
@@ShersKalimba Oh I using bunch of digital equipment to bring the tone to really extremely clean and sharp. Without it, not different than normal kalimbas. I uses Dual MIC to extract the sound and bunch of effectors such as Noise gate and compressors etc etc... That's why my kalimba sounds like a studio record version and seems so different than others. I used to play Electric guitar my self so I have some knowledge of effectors and how great sound mix could be done. :D Some people said this is kinda "Cheating". However, as I mentioned above, I know my self very well that I'm not a great player. But still, I want to show audiences how beautiful sounds could be created by Kalimba. That's my ultimate goal. Even I'm not good at play and doing "Cheating" as other said. There are so many instruments that uses effectors so why not on Kalimbas too? :D Kalimba is absolute beauty.
@@MrKalimba thank you for the explanations. The sound editing sounds complicated for me, I only use mic clip on and reduce the noises in adobe premier. Still need lots to learn to make the sound quality better. It takes a lot of skill, creativity, and sensitivity.. Just like art creating. It's not cheating 😉
