Hello , I need to know if there is any way to factory reset the onn. 4K steaming box without a remote. Reason being , I watched your tutorial on how to install the mouse toggle for this device, and I used the center button as the mouse activator, which now allows me to activate the mouse, but not to OK or click on anything I choose on any page so it seems the ONN 4K streaming box is rendered useless. Your tutorial was very informative but you left out one important part which I know I’m not alone with because I searched on RUclips and there are people like me that have used the OK button to activate the mouse and now are stuck with a box that they can’t do nothing with, all that being said on your video or your tutorial, you should’ve let people know not to use the center button. Specifically, it will render your box useless. I found no reset button on the ON 4K streaming box anywhere I tried the OG cable with a mouse and that did not work. The mouse moves across the screen. Great, but you can’t click on anything, I even went as far to open up my box to see if I could find a reset button inside the box there aren’t any reset buttons anywhere on this box or in it, so do you know of any way to reset this box without the remote control ? Any or all help is greatly appreciated. Just happy at this point it was only $19.99. It’s not too bad at loss thank you . Please remember the end part of your tutorial on how to install a mouse toggle is not very clear and so I rewound it several times to watch it over and over and still made the mistake. You really need to let people know that you should not use the center button to activate your mouse toggle, that’s a major no-no. Thanks again.

Maybe it'll help: "Try this out: Hold button for about 5 secs > unplug it (keep it held) > plug it again > once you notice there's video signal, release button (YMMV - could be once or before you see the onn logo) > android recovery menu should be displayed You navigate the menu using that button, click it to scroll through options and hold it to select. EDIT: took me many tries to get to the recovery menu using such method, don't give up if you can access it right away."
I tried multiple times and resets.. No matter what you do.. the mouse toggle will not click any apps. It will show on the menu and you can customize keys but the issue here I believe is Android 12 OS. I don't know what OS you have but maybe that is why it worked for you on the Video.
Now I see why he stopped the video after install and showing the movement of the mouse. He never did click on any icon to show that the function worked.
Definitely needs work to get it to function properly for the Google Onn device. This will not let you select every application or settings for those using the mouse toggle. Hopefully there will be updates for that particular device.

I'm InTouch with someone working on an add blocker/ anti-tracking software firewall type package in a free source version. RUclips has 8 different trackers on us now for instance. That's just nuts and way too invasive for me.

That option was already on and it just doesn't click on everything like it should. It will select some things but not everything. Mouse toggle on the firestick works like I wish this one would.

This happened to me last night. Get it to scroll mode and navigate to Settings. When you push the enter button, press left or right immediately after (basically at the same time). Repeat this until you can go to apps and uninstall the MATVT. It is very difficult and frustrating, you have to time your button presses perfectly so it only works one out of every 5 presses. If left and right do not work, try the up and down keys right after pressing enter. Or try pressing them at exactly the same time.

I have an X88 19 android box, followed everything step by step.
It's telling me that I'm connected, but when I hit the mute button, I get no cursor

if you have "sideload launcher" or can see the app icon, long press it, then uninstall

try this when the mouse doesnt click to any apps, Go to developer option and enable usb debugging.
That option was already on and it just doesn't click on everything like it should. It will select some things but not everything. Mouse toggle on the firestick works like I wish this one would.
