C418 discs: while varying in the emotion we convey, we all have similar feelings and fit well with the soundtrack of minecra- Pigstep: *_now it's time to get funky_*
B G the creator of Celeste was the one who made the pigstep track. You can hear the style of Celeste in pigstep, which allowed me to reminisce about celeste’s music and charm. Do some research for once instead of using blind sarcasm.
@ This was my go-to background music while doing my homework. I found myself looking for certain tracks, so I made the time stamps. I also wanted a survey to find the most popular disks.
Funny Story: So one time me and my friends (and cousin) were playing minecraft and my cousin was looking for a disc. Keep in mind we normally dont memorize their names cause were all bad at remembering things so she asked in chat "Hey do you guys know where my music disc went?" and my friend responded with "C418?" My cousin responded with "yes" and I was laughing my head off becuase her music disc was Pigstep, the only disc that isnt C418. So im here watching them look for a C418 disc that was in my enderchest the entire time. It was really funny to watch
I made a “small” story for each song: Some of them might be bad, I’m sorry Cat: As They sat there with their fishing rod with the song stuck in their head the line tugged, the reeled it in to find.. A Nametag! Finally, that’s just what they were looking for! They put their fishing rod away in a chest next to the dock and went into their wooden house, they skipped over to their Anvil and began to scribble the name: ‘Granite’ onto the Paper. They walked over to a large aquarium with lots of fish, the reached in and Placed the nametag around the white Axolotl’s neck. “Granite.” They sighed, shaking the water off their hands and leaning against the aquarium. Blocks: As the Short-Haired boy ran across the mountainous Landscape he stopped at a cliff, his dog sprinted up behind him. “Sit, Rocky.” He told the dog, who obeyed and sat down next to him. The boy wrapped an arm around his fluffy companion, taking out a small piece of steak for the dog and some bread for himself, he put the meat in front of the canine, who bent down and scarfed down his treat. The Owner chuckled and tore off a piece of bread and popped it In His mouth. “I love you, Buddy.” He said as the dog rested it’s head on his lap, he pet it and slowly began to drift off to sleep as the moon rose behind him. Far: The Girl ran across the savanna, the enderman right behind her, she turned and shot her crossbow at it, it of course teleported away before the arrow pierced. She caught her breath, keeping an ear out for anything that might sneak up on her, she heard a groan behind her and whipped around, shooting the zombie reaching for her right between the eyes, killing it. She bent down and pulled the arrow from it’s head and put it back in her crossbow. The enderman came back, but without it’s grass block. “Good job, you’re getting better.” It blurted in it’s static-like voice. This enderman had been training with the girl for a long time because nobody else would teach her. “Thanks, Chorus.” The girl smiled, laying back on the dry grass, the enderman joined her, looking up at the dark sky with its mysterious slit Purple eyes. “I’m not going to be here forever, So when I die will you keep my memory with you?” It asked. “Of course.” The girl responded. Strad: The Girl hung onto the vines, afraid to go and meet the person beneath her, even though the Parrot had said too. She climbed up further as the person with the blade examined the jungle around them, they spotted the girl and waved, she climbed up into her little makeshift treehouse, avoiding the person. She heard them climbing up and hid In her little hole in the wood. The floor creaked which alerted the girl that the person was in the tree. She stayed quiet as the bird looked at her funny from outside the hole in the wood, the person noticed the parrot and looked into the hole in the tree, the girl backed away from them and they held out their hand. “I’m not gonna hurt you, I promise.” They said softly, so the girl took their hand and climbed out of the wood. “I’m Silver, Nice to meet you.” Mellohi: (TW: Blood) The brunette Boy Coughed and wiped his nose, blood was seen once he removed his hand. Everything hurt but he had to keep fighting, he swung a fist at his attacker and hit them on the cheek, which didn’t seem to phase them, they kicked him in the stomach and he coughed, falling onto his side, he couldn’t get up. The attacker kicked him before walking away to steal his loot. The boy managed to gain enough strength to pick up a blade the attacker had dropped and threw it at the masked person. It stabbed their abdomen and blood leaked from the wound, the attacker coughed, blood splattering onto the wooden floor and then fell to the ground, the boy sat up and hugged his arms to his chest, this was gonna take a while to recover from. Ward: The Boy Kicked the window multiple times before it finally broke, shattering glass across the red carpet and Birch floor. He had just broken into a Mansion. One filled with illagers. He needed to quickly loot the place and then escape, or at least, that was his starting plan. He ran into the first room he found and quickly took all the items within that chest, then did the same with the other chest on the opposite side of the room, stuffing the loot into his backpack. He ran out of the room and down a hall, shooting one of the illagers in the back of the head with a bow. He continued to loot the Mansion, killing illagers here and there, he Ran down the final flight of stairs and Bolted through the door, jumping into his boat and rowing away before the angry mob of Illagers could catch up to him, escaping with only a few minor injuries. Chirp: The Blocks we’re always so calming, even when she was being hunted down by Skeletons it was so nice, she had retreated to her nice house in the forest, flopping onto her chair her cat: Mittens ha jumped up onto her lap and was now making himself nice and comfy and she flipped through her growing disc collection, she placed the disc she had just gotten the most recently into the jukebox and the song began playing. She didn’t care that the zombies were banding on her windows or door to be let in, all she cared about in that moment was her cat and the music. (Chirp v2: The orange cat simply Sat on his balcony, dangling his feet while his friends climbed up to join him, and they just vibed along to the beat playing tin the background) Stal: They Sat at their table in the bar and sipped their drink, having not a care in the world at that moment. All of their thoughts melted away at that moment and all they wanted was to forget about the incident that had happened a day earlier. So they continued to sip their drink. What happened a day earlier you ask? A friend of theirs had gotten shot by a skeleton and had passed away, even though they had tried to save her. And they didn’t have many other friends so now they’re here. Such a sad sight really. Even as their one other friend came to pick them up, they didn’t really want to go. They didn’t want to remember. Mall: the rain dripped from his rooftop as he sat on the porch with his crush, a girl with blonde hair and enchanting blue eyes, Tony was the day he planned to tell her he had feelings for her, he turned and looked at her. “Listen, I- I think You’re really beautiful and I was wondering if you like me too?” He asked nervously. The girl looked from the rain to him, smiled and nodded, his face light up as he thanked the gods in his mind. They sat in comfortable silence, simply listening to the rain for the rest of the morning as the sun came up. Wait: The girl tapped her foot, they were supposed to be here by now, where were they? The girl was starting to get frustrated as she continued to wait for another hour. “Hey! Sorry I’m Late, Mom wouldn’t let me leave.” They said, catching their breath. “S’About time!” She said, frustrated. “I had to wait here for two Bloody Hours!” “I’m Sorry, I didn’t mean to keep you here.” They said, looking defeated. “It’s fine.” She said, walking towards the hole in the ground and climbing down a ladder nailed into the dirt wall. “Let’s just get mining.” She pulled out a torch to illuminate the cave and handed one to her friend. They spent the rest of the day in the cave, mining their hearts out and even finding diamonds! (Which they fought over who gets the extra because it want an even number) Pigstep: The Piglins took out the disc and began to play it, the funky melody always made these pigs happy, and so, they danced, and danced, and danced. Seeing this sight is sure rare though. But it happened to one lucky explorer. He light the fuse of the Explosives and ran, watching as it blew up the netherrack. He was looking for ancient debris for netherite to upgrade his gear. When he came across a bastion. He stared at it for a moment before deciding to explore it, he went forwards and jumped, grabbing onto a ledge on the black stone and then pulling himself up and onto the platform, he heard the tune playing from deeper into the structure and followed it to see the music playing from a jukebox in the middle of the large room all the piglins were dancing to the beat, which he found hilarious. He watched this sight until the music ended. And then he went back to searching for debris. This took me two hours to write so I hope you liked it Bye bye :]
@@Cyansational unpopular opinion disc 13 is actually kinda soothing especially when you listen to the minecraft alpha album thing where its immediately followed by excuse which keeps the same eerie mysterious mood
Imagine there was a villager known as a "musician" they would trade rare music disks and possibly jukeboxes and note blocks. Jesus this comment exploded...
Maybe they'd only trade them for mob skulls, or something similarly rare? That seems fair to me, with the only reliable way of getting them is wither skeletons or end cities
Since I am here, I am going to describe what situation I feel when listening to these records. Cat: I feel like I'm harvesting my wheat crops as the sun goes down and the sky turns red. Blocks: It feels like being on top of the mountain watching the animals in the valley. Far: A melancholic and nostalgic melody. It reminds me of sporadic stays in a cave on the mountainside at night. Strad: A sound of exploration and discovery mixed with intrigue. Mellohi: Low and slow tones. Perfect for the calm in the refuge. Ward: Energetic and mystical. I feel like swinging through the treetops, searching for a mansion to raid. Chirp: A tune to listen to in front of the campfire like a sophisticated person. Stal: A catchy rhythm, somewhat stealthy but at the same time classic. Mall: It makes me feel in tune with the ocean, like a navigator of the deep. Wait: A relaxed and peaceful rhythm. Obviously to wait for your minerals to cook. Pigstep: Perfectly encompasses the feeling of wonder and tension of exploring the furthest reaches of the hot red wasteland.
I think my favorite is strad. Personally it makes me think of the jungle, a shadowy, secretive place where it can be hard to survive if you're inexperienced. The first half of the song makes me think of exploring the rainforest and discovering beautiful things you hadn't noticed before. The second half (based on the mechanical background sounds) makes me think of the future, when you've learned and become more experienced as you lived in this bizarre biome, but you're searching for other people through radio waves and other forms of communication. And the silence at the end gives me a feeling of realization of how far you've come, or that you've found what you're looking for.
i feel like Stal is so underrated lol, that was always my favourite. also, to me, chirp always freaked me out, it sounds like something youd hear in a horror movie lol
Stal and mellohi are the two my favorite discs I personally think those two just go really good together but I never really heard a mashup between the two but those two discs are my favorite so yes I agree with you stal But do you think mellohi is underrated too?
i remember playing "cat" in this absurd and overly glorified rainbow temple i made back when i was around 5. it was 12 stories high, each level complete with exaggerated decorations and eye bleeding colour schemes. i can't remember every room, but it went about like: grass, gold, wool (an excuse to use every color), bedrock, nether, end, white and heaven themed, and finally black and dark colours. i spent months worth of time on that world only for my PC to break (it was my oldest brother's first computer, he's 21 now) and everything to be wiped. my entire childhood gone in one day, i miss that world. . i used to have this sky temple, and i used to play on my friends laggy server, i used to cry when i died (still do sometimes), i used to not be able to craft simple items. but all i can say is "good times..." and move on. i know i can't get those years back, but that won't stop me from missing them
Strad... I can't think of the right word to describe it. It feels like a distant, but fond memory. Like imagining yourself in a far away place, where you are happy and calm.
To me it feels like being in a forest, exploring, and looking all at the things around you. But you can imagine way more scenarios to go with that song. Which is why it's my favorite music disc. ( And because the song is literally a bop )
I literally hate my life. I spent 30 minutes writing a little story that I thought would have been nice for stal, only to click "cancel" instead of reply... I made the comment on a phone... WHYYYYY!!!
Ikr? Chirp sounds like something straight from a Caretaker album. Makes me really uneasy. I guess most of 'em songs just have this strange bitterness to them that contrasts happy leading lines. Like its some kind of monster trying to lull into a false sense of security. Damn I should really stop watching wierd scary stuff.....
It kinda almost feels like when you're listening to some of these discs playing, you forget about some of your troubles. Even for maybe just a second. remembering playing minecraft with my siblings when we were younger. We all were close with eachother. While sitting on the couch, playing minecraft I would see all my siblings doing different things... one was building a house, the other one was mining, one was out getting food and me... I was making a to-do list for us. Back then when I didnt have to worry about anything. When everytime the thing that would matter most is who got the better controller. That's what I remember at least... I like to sleep with this music. It helps me have some nice memories from when I was younger. Minecraft might just feel like a block game to some people, but for me... it's a game that everyone enjoyed. A game filled with so many possibilities. Anyways, have a good day or night or whatever -Mal
this was perfectly well said, me and my siblings would do the exact same thing almost everyday. now, none of us are close, we each are are in our own world, with our own struggles, and yet this game has kept us together in some sort of way.
@Aspxct Light the ol' ps4? ps4's are old now? i have a ps3 and it works perfectly fine and my friend has a ps2, which MIGHT be considered _slightly_ old
It seems like Cat is more often the most nostalgic one for long time players. And then there’s just the Xbox 360/PS3 2012 players just chilling in the corner with Where Are We Now?
how I feel when listening to these: Cat: Nostalgia and reminiscing on watching stampy and his adventures. Blocks: The chill feeling of having just enough blocks to finish a build. Far: I am far from my base but don't feel the desire to return yet. Ive gotten good loot but not good enough from my travels. Strad: I sit in my base and watch my farms grow. I hear the plinking as the tiny bits of progress on my sugar cane farm. Melohi: I've done it. I'm at the stronghold. Soon me and my two friends will have conquered supreme on 3 dimensions. Ward: I've lost my stuff, but I feel the urge to start all over, new location, new house, new stuff. Chirp: It's a fine day on my friend's realm. I got diamonds for the first time and we are happily in our home. Stal: My pickaxes are running low as are my torches but I can feel the diamonds around the corner. Mall: It's a perfect role-play server. I watch the sun go down after a big plot point with this echoing through our new lives. Wait: If I sit here long enough, something cool will pop up. Something will happen. Until then, I'll be here watching my home. Pigstep: I've just acquired hot tourist destinations but I'm not stopping until I have a netherite ingot from bastions. I will keep going.
0:00 C418 - Cat 3:06 C418 - Blocks 8:52 C418 - Far 11:48 C418 - Strad 14:57 C418 - Mellohi 16:35 C418 - Ward 20:48 C418 - Chirp 23:53 C418 - Stal 26:24 C418 - Mall 29:41 C418 - Wait (Where are we now) 33:36 Lena Raine - Pigstep Edit: A lot of people have pointed out that this is written in the description. It is, but when I made this originally, it wasn't there yet.
We need more unique songs. Dont get me wrong, i LOVE the current disc list, but sometimes we need to mix it up. Pigsted is exactly that. Mixing it up. For once, its not nostalgic (not in the slightest) but it really works well.
its so strange whenever i hear it i suddenly remember smth from like 2013-2014, and its when I literally can't remember what I did during this week and don't remember 85% of my life
when i first listened to Ward, i thought its a horror disc so I stopped playing it. When until few years later, I just got a music disc on my survival world and its the only disc I have. Before I had that disc, I already had a stage with DJs as cows. I got nothing to do so I just play it without minding the horror beginning of the song. Boy, I regret not listening to it fully when I was a kid. edit 1: woa, 100+ likes, thanks
honestly I have to say, I kind of was scared of Ward too when I was younger, but after playing Herobrine's Mansion many times (where if you beat the boss of the level, you get the ward disc so that you can move forth,) I got used to the disc and I'm pretty sure it's one of my top 3 discs.
hey, if you also want these in your world: a crude way is making a basic pressure plate trapdoor trap to lure creepers, lure a skeleton and stay behind the creeper, the creeper will drop any music disc except for pigstep upon death by skeletons arrows. :p
A cooler way to do it is making pistons to the sides to lift up the doors so they break and there's nothing on the skeleton's way. You should add a block on top of the trap so it doesn't escape tho3
Personally, I don’t see a lot of people talking about Far, it’s my favorite disc because it feels nostalgic and would honestly be great background music for a nostalgic edit of Minecraft
C418 Wait: thanks for stopping by, it was really fun to play for you :) i hope you liked the music i worked hard and- Lena Raine Pigstep: YEA YEA I HEAR YA BUT UH
that's so funny, i was going through trying to decide which ones I like best justby listening through for a while and those were my exact same favorites too :D
Not gonna lie even after playing minecraft for years and years I haven't even heard more than the start of some of these discs and hell, I didn't even know stal existed until it became a meme
Cat- playful and chill, like a cat. simple concept amazing music . quite innocent (nihachu) Blocks- the process of building your minecraft world in creative, one step at a time. quite inspiring (tommy) Far- spending a night in a small tent of adventuring 1000 blocks+. wandering wherever your heart takes you to. sounds really melancholy. (wilbur)(mostly ghostbur) Strad- A fun adventure in a tropical jungle. underrated but really sets a fun vibe (awesamdude) Mellohi- this one..... is hard to describe. Sounds like an old carnival faded in memory..., twisted by time thus it’s eerie feeling. A mysterious, melancholy and bittersweet piece. I personally like it (dream) (maybe also ranboo) Ward- A digital sound like a machine in a hospital to check pulse. The beats could be heart beats and the melody tells a story of a someone at a ward. Gives a sense if hope ( i dont really know who to put here. the feeling is quite indescribable) (after some more thinking, this doesn’t fit anyone in the smp well. but maybe could be in the future) (maybe bbh but more likely ranboo) Chirp- Really sounds like birds vibin’ . At certain points you can here the melody line repeated twice like how a parrot would mimic a sound (the “mimicked” sound varies which is cool) (tubbo) Stal- Waiting for your food in a restaurant only for Schlatt to bust in. ( This is actually gives really nice vibes) (Schlatt obviously) Mall- Sounds too desolate to be a mall. Gives cave adventuring vibes (This one is hard to describe) (Fundy) Wait- Elevator music. Great to pass time ( George: he sleeps) Pigstep- Straight up fire. Really captures the essence of the nether and its mischievous piglins (Technooo) Added: 11- A tough journey. A scary journey in a cave. The player struggles to escape, breathing heavily. Footsteps. Noises of a creature. Maybe a warden. There’s so much lore in this one disc. 13- Most people find this scary but there’s an underlying tune. Listen carefully and think. This sounds simply like creepy cave ambiences but I couldn’t help but notice a conduit noise and water ambiences. An underwater adventure, maybe not as creepy as you think anymore. ( edit: After listening to the new update’s cave noises, its more likely a warden so it probably has the same theme to 11. Maybe underwater stronghold) Ik this is way too long but i just wanted to express what i feel through these pieces. ^ - ^ “Music! It’s like a person but they’re not really there” -Tommy Edit: Added characters from dream smp
If the music discs were biome/structure themes then I would feel like this is where they would be played, Cat = coast biomes. (The song would play if you enter and stay in a chunk that borders a ocean biome chunk for 30 seconds) Blocks = any chunk with at least 8 farm blocks. (The song would play if you enter and stay in a chunk with at least 8 farm blocks and in bordering chunks for 30 second) (This was a hard one for me) Far = end (This song would play 30 seconds AFTER you have defeated the enderdragon, will only play while you are in the end) Strad = The plains, desert and tundra biomes (This song would play if you enter and stay in any of the biomes above for 30 seconds,) (This one was hard for me to decide) Mellohi = Mushroom islands (This song would play if you enter and stay in a mushroom island chunk for 30 second) (This song was one of the hardest to decide) Ward = Swamp (This song would play if you enter and stay in a swamp biome chunk for 30 seconds, will instantly start playing if you are in a chunk with a witch-hut) Chirp = Crimson Forest Biome (Plays if you enter and stay in a Crimson Forest Chunk for 30 seconds, only plays in the nether) Stal = Would play at nighttime in the plains, desert, hills, oak forest and the savanna biome (Plays 30 seconds after the sun goes down if you are in the biomes listed above,) Mall = The Deep ocean and regular ocean biomes (plays if you stay under water in any of the biomes listed above for 5 seconds) Wait = The Tundra, Glaciers, Cold spruce woods and Hills biomes (Plays if you enter and stay in any of the biomes listed above for 30 seconds or if you reach a Y coordinate that is 200 blocks and above) Pigstep = Bastion remnants and Nether Castles (obviously) (Plays immediately after entering a Bastion remnant of Nether Castle, If you don't agree with me then don't give me hate comments about why they should or shouldn't play in these biomes and structures, I never said that they have to play exactly where I said they would play, i only said that it's where I THINK it would play.
The music disc "Mall" is my favorite. I love how nostalgic this one is (of course they all are, but this one's beginning has a special feel to it.) It reminds me of happier times where I didn't have to worry about my future and how scary life can truly be. I didn't realize that I was creating the best memories of my childhood. I miss everyone I've lost on the way; they were great people.
Strad reminds me of a tropical island, and weirdly, the minecraft modpack, RLcraft. Probably because the creator uses it in his own tutorial guide for his own modpack.
The first disc i got was chirp by accident when i was 7. It was only then that i figured out that music discs existed, and i looked up farms on how to get them. Soon enough i had all 12 (only 12 at the time no pigstep). All of them vibe but chirp has a special place in my heart. I enjoy it more then any others just because it reminds me of that simpler, limited, nostalgic xbox 360 world. Those were the times.
Cat/dog gives me the feeling of a long Journey ahead and the future to come. Blocks gives me the feeling of looking back on yourself and your life up until now, feeling sad that you’ll never get to experience those memories again but your grateful they happened. Far gives me feelings of wonder and Beauty, a rare but appreciated moment where everything is peaceful and perfect. Strad gives me the feelings of moving forward and making new memories that you can look back on later in your adventures. Mellohi gives me feeling of being lost and bored but in the best way, you can easily be inspired in these kinds of moments. Ward gives me feelings of confusion and exploration, imagine exploring the nether or the end, your confused by the landscape not knowing fully how to traverse it but you’ve got the motivation and courage to continue and then finally finding what you’ve been looking for, leaving you feeling accomplished and satisfied. Chirp gives me the feeling of being relaxing while also feeling energetic and excited for what’s to come, A very complicated feeling to describe. Stal gives me the feeling of warranted overconfidence, you feel strong and that you’ve got everything under Control but deep down you know there’s a lot left to experiment with and learn, I nice feeling overall because you know your journey isn’t over. Mall is the feeling of looking back on your adventure and appreciating the good times, the memories just keep on flooding in, just when you think its over another one appears for you to laugh or smile at, thanks to minecraft I know this feeling all to well... Wait gives me the feeling of your adventure coming to a fitting and peaceful end. You’ve basically done everything and now it’s time to truly appreciate your work and what you’ve accomplished on this journey, you’ve laughed, lost and gained so much more than you could’ve possibly hoped for on this journey. I’m still WAITing to truly experience this however... Pigstep gives me the feeling of Conquering the nether and just being an overall badass. 13 and 11 give me the feeling of there still being things to discover and understand together as a community. Secrets hide in every nook and cranny and it’s up to me and you as players to seek them out... Thank you for reading my thoughts and feelings towards every minecraft music disk, I hope you have a wonderful day/night. 😅
the disk cat brings back so many memories because when I was with my childhood best friend we would play Minecraft all the time and we would play the disk cat and have dance party's and sometimes I would just play it to vibe with the music.....oh the good old days
Strad is the Disc that takes me back to when I would play minecraft for hours on my little kindle when I was 6 years old, the music filling my headphones and exploring the depths of the minecraft world. It hits different.
I like the music contrast between the music from the over world and the music from the nether- C418 gives the overworld the calm feel it deserves Lena has the hot beats that bring more fire to the lava filled nether-
Other discs- nostalgic and nice Ward- Haunted Mansion/Thor ragnarok vibes Mellohi- The reason Ranboo fans are not ok Stal- s p y m u s i c Pigstep- *bop*
I was listening to this while writing about the recent dream smp events in this journal thing i have, and as I was writing about Ranboo, melohi came on and freaked me out a bit-
when me and my friends are on a world and start talking about getting discs one of us just says "i really want pigstep" an we all just go DUN DUN DUN DUN

I made a “small” story for each song:
Some of them might be bad, I’m sorry
Cat: As They sat there with their fishing rod with the song stuck in their head the line tugged, the reeled it in to find..
“I’m Silver, Nice to meet you.”
Mellohi: (TW: Blood) The brunette Boy Coughed and wiped his nose, blood was seen once he removed his hand.
(Chirp v2: The orange cat simply Sat on his balcony, dangling his feet while his friends climbed up to join him, and they just vibed along to the beat playing tin the background)
Stal: They Sat at their table in the bar and sipped their drink, having not a care in the world at that moment.
(Which they fought over who gets the extra because it want an even number)
Pigstep: The Piglins took out the disc and began to play it, the funky melody always made these pigs happy, and so, they danced, and danced, and danced.

And thats a FACT
You a poet?
Thats cool
When I listen the Mellohi, all I can think of is the Dream SMP
I think my favorite is strad. Personally it makes me think of the jungle, a shadowy, secretive place where it can be hard to survive if you're inexperienced. The first half of the song makes me think of exploring the rainforest and discovering beautiful things you hadn't noticed before. The second half (based on the mechanical background sounds) makes me think of the future, when you've learned and become more experienced as you lived in this bizarre biome, but you're searching for other people through radio waves and other forms of communication. And the silence at the end gives me a feeling of realization of how far you've come, or that you've found what you're looking for.

Personally, I don’t see a lot of people talking about Far, it’s my favorite disc because it feels nostalgic and would honestly be great background music for a nostalgic edit of Minecraft
I also like it very much!

Not gonna lie even after playing minecraft for years and years I haven't even heard more than the start of some of these discs and hell, I didn't even know stal existed until it became a meme
I can say the same
Applies to me
I don't even know it comes from minecraft.
what
it was a meme
TurtleOutLoud schlatt fandom, we’re weird
Cat- playful and chill, like a cat. simple concept amazing music . quite innocent (nihachu)
Blocks- the process of building your minecraft world in creative, one step at a time. quite inspiring (tommy)
Far- spending a night in a small tent of adventuring 1000 blocks+. wandering wherever your heart takes you to. sounds really melancholy. (wilbur)(mostly ghostbur)
Strad- A fun adventure in a tropical jungle. underrated but really sets a fun vibe (awesamdude)
Mellohi- this one..... is hard to describe. Sounds like an old carnival faded in memory..., twisted by time thus it’s eerie feeling. A mysterious, melancholy and bittersweet piece. I personally like it (dream) (maybe also ranboo)
Ward- A digital sound like a machine in a hospital to check pulse. The beats could be heart beats and the melody tells a story of a someone at a ward. Gives a sense if hope
( i dont really know who to put here. the feeling is quite indescribable) (after some more thinking, this doesn’t fit anyone in the smp well. but maybe could be in the future) (maybe bbh but more likely ranboo)
Chirp- Really sounds like birds vibin’ . At certain points you can here the melody line repeated twice like how a parrot would mimic a sound (the “mimicked” sound varies which is cool)
(tubbo)
Stal- Waiting for your food in a restaurant only for Schlatt to bust in. ( This is actually gives really nice vibes) (Schlatt obviously)
Mall- Sounds too desolate to be a mall. Gives cave adventuring vibes (This one is hard to describe) (Fundy)
Wait- Elevator music. Great to pass time ( George: he sleeps)
Pigstep- Straight up fire. Really captures the essence of the nether and its mischievous piglins (Technooo)
Added:
11- A tough journey.
Maybe underwater stronghold)
Ik this is way too long but i just wanted to express what i feel through these pieces. ^ - ^

Strad?
Blocks? Ward?,
If the music discs were biome/structure themes then I would feel like this is where they would be played,
Cat = coast biomes.
(The song would play if you enter and stay in a chunk that borders a ocean biome chunk for 30 seconds)
Blocks = any chunk with at least 8 farm blocks.
(The song would play if you enter and stay in a chunk with at least 8 farm blocks and in bordering chunks for 30 second)
(This was a hard one for me)
Far = end
(This song would play 30 seconds AFTER you have defeated the enderdragon, will only play while you are in the end)
Strad = The plains, desert and tundra biomes
(This song would play if you enter and stay in any of the biomes above for 30 seconds,)
(This one was hard for me to decide)
Mellohi = Mushroom islands
(This song would play if you enter and stay in a mushroom island chunk for 30 second)
(This song was one of the hardest to decide)
Ward = Swamp
(This song would play if you enter and stay in a swamp biome chunk for 30 seconds, will instantly start playing if you are in a chunk with a witch-hut)
Chirp = Crimson Forest Biome
(Plays if you enter and stay in a Crimson Forest Chunk for 30 seconds, only plays in the nether)
Stal = Would play at nighttime in the plains, desert, hills, oak forest and the savanna biome
(Plays 30 seconds after the sun goes down if you are in the biomes listed above,)
Mall = The Deep ocean and regular ocean biomes
(plays if you stay under water in any of the biomes listed above for 5 seconds)
Wait = The Tundra, Glaciers, Cold spruce woods and Hills biomes
(Plays if you enter and stay in any of the biomes listed above for 30 seconds or if you reach a Y coordinate that is 200 blocks and above)
Pigstep = Bastion remnants and Nether Castles (obviously)
(Plays immediately after entering a Bastion remnant of Nether Castle,
If you don't agree with me then don't give me hate comments about why they should or shouldn't play in these biomes and structures, I never said that they have to play exactly where I said they would play, i only said that it's where I THINK it would play.

The jungle is dead silent
The music disc "Mall" is my favorite. I love how nostalgic this one is (of course they all are, but this one's beginning has a special feel to it.) It reminds me of happier times where I didn't have to worry about my future and how scary life can truly be. I didn't realize that I was creating the best memories of my childhood. I miss everyone I've lost on the way; they were great people.
boomer :>
yep ii agree
Yep, Mall is one of my favourites too - makes me feel tired in a good way
Strad will always hold a special place in my heart, the left atrium. No joke, that song is the nether.
YES Strad is such a bop I used to flay around the jungles on Creative Mode and listen to it :)
Strad reminds me of a tropical island, and weirdly, the minecraft modpack, RLcraft.
Probably because the creator uses it in his own tutorial guide for his own modpack.
Also if theres someone here who hates RLcraft, i legit dont care.

Man.... being honest, everytime after listening a disc, my favourite disc changes. c418 is a truly great composer
YAAAASSSSSSSSS I LOVE CHIRP

@@zackarthurshaw4198 Especially the recorder bit on Stal?
I love how chirp is a little big planet music at the beginning, it combines my two favorite game from when I was a child
yeah
I love the feel that ward gives, its perfect for listening
