Oh my god I’m so happy I found you! A real life person who is funny and makes minimalism content and lighthearted, and not a fake influencer 👏👏 i have unfollowed so many minimalism channels because they’re so curated and all the same now, and you’re actually relatable and make me laugh!
"I have nothing to tack with my thumbs" 😂 I love it! This playlist has turned out to be very effective body doubling. I wasn't even attempting to use them as such, but I just noticed that I've been tidying since I put on video #1. Much needed, so thank you!
@@natashatheresa oops I meant to say *wasn't trying to. I started watching your videos a couple days ago and am really enjoying your realness and humor. Keep it up!!
No one is judging you! You are absolutely darling. Your desk looks great. I have a stash of note cards like yours and I keep my postage stamps (unfolded) clipped with them.
It's always encouraging to see a fellow minimizer still dealing with those collections of random things! I myself opted for no drawer when I got a new desk last year, so I've had the challenge of figuring out _new_ ways to hide those types of things, lol
@@natashatheresa yeah there's definitely nothing wrong with drawers when you actually use what's there!! In my case it was just a space asking to be filled with things that didn't go there, and I didn't need that kind of temptation 😅 Love the way you ended up organizing everything -- keep up the great work!
I just decluttered office supplies two days ago. I had a container of "paper fasteners". You know the little metal clips you push through a punched hole and then spread the two metal flat pieces apart. I think the last time I used these were for a kids craft about 6 years ago. Time to go!!! That and all the 15 mini memo notebooks. Oh, your journal time. Make a rule like.. "I need to journal for 10 minutes before I shower and dress."
I was cheering you on every with each decision you made. The drawers look great and it’ll help you get more done in a shorter timeframe since you know where everything is. I would put the stamps in the front pocket with the cards so it’s all together when you want to use them and will keep them from getting damages. Love you, darling friend!!!
Choose your 6 favorite pens and donate the rest along with the push pins and extra scissors. Some of us just are not "journalers". Let them go! Lol Set a timer for 15 min. and try to figure out as many keys as you can, as to where they go. Then mark them! Make sure there is no balance on them, and then cut up all but one or two of your credit cards. Call the bank/company to cancel as well. It helps your credit score. (Yes, I like having a high credit score even though we live debt free. Lol) This is such a fun video - Great job, Tasha! ❤
HAHAHA! Thanks Barbara. I'll definitely go through the pens and donate the push pins and extra scissors :) And yes I'll sort through the keys right now LOL!
I journal everyday. I have a stack of journals from over 20 years. I document growth, challenges, and insight. It is fun to re-read ones from 10 years. My external memory hard drive in paper form.
I like the sliding in intro, cute! Just manifesting it for the future - worth a try. Memory Card Idea - another channel I subscribe to; she bought cute little vintage boxes with lids for her cards. She keeps them under the monitor, on the desk, they look cute and they're right where they're needed. Journaling - nope, not happening in my life. I already have too many things to keep up with that don't get done. If I added journaling, that would be one more thing on the list to do and another thing to stress over. The thumb tacks - why? Why do you have them if you don't use them. I had a box of paper clips in my desk for years - why? I never use paper clips, I can't remember the last time I used one, maybe 30 years ago when I had an office job - I put them in the donate box.
I know! You are right lollll! I kept mentioning them and then after posting the video I’m like why do I still have them! I’m bringing them into church this week, they have tons of bulletin boards hahahahaha I love the idea about the memory cards. I’ll check that out!!
My only Journaling I really do is my VERY simple gratitude journal. My rules are, I don't have to do it every day, but doing it every now and then really is beneficial. There's a small space to take notes if I want, or write an intention or mantra. ❤
Put your stamps in the small pocket in the front of the pouch where you put thank you cards: I keep my stamps with my envelopes and it's so functional!
I started journaling with a weekly planner. I made sure to journal just as much space that was given because I would be annoyed and overwhelmed with a full on blank notebook so I jot down a few thoughts in a day. And I did that until I grew out of the small space and it became a regular habit then I got journals and yet they are still small traveler like journals that I can carry to just do my quick thought jots.
Oh that’s cool! Thank you for sharing with me! I do have a digital planner, my daily planner has a little space at the bottom for notes, maybe I can try that bc I already do the planning!!
i bullet journal. nothing fancy, just a black pen, ruler and a few highlighters but all hou really need is a pen and ruler. super simple. takes 2 hours to set up, maybe 5-10 minutes a day to fill in, depending what im doing and it can change every month.
I journal every morning for about 10 minutes, by answering these prompts, in this order: 1) I am thinking about ............ 2) Physically I am feeling .......... 3) Emotionally I am feeling .......... 4) My 2 intentions for today 1/ ......... 2/............ 5) 2 things I am grateful for 1/ ..... 2/ ..... 6) Today this one thing would make me happier: ......... This is EASY, doable, and after a month or so it became a habit, and it's so beneficial, helps me in so many ways - I hope you give it a try!
