Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks: An Introduction

Artificial Intelligence is one of the hottest topics in NDE, Radiology, and Industry and one of the core topics of NDE 4.0. Still, there is a lot of confusion around this topic: What is the difference between AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning? Will AI make us unemployed? Can we trust AI? With this video, I am trying to shed some light on those questions.

Great Video and thanks for doing education on this important topic! From our experience AI has great potential to revolutionize the way we work and tackle problems like demographic change. But often people think that this is something to use in 10+ years and the technology is not ready yet. People are shocked when they understand how powerful and reliable the technology really is today. That's why videos like this, show cases, case studies and tools that supports the way we work today in an intuitive way (User Experience) are so important. AI is not here to substitute everything, but to support and assist people.
