47 km/h avg on 9km Dubai City Loop - D1 / NAS / DXBike

Cycling in Dubai? It might not be the first thought when thinking about this glittery city in the desert but it is actually a fantastic place to ride your bike, especially your TT bike. With a huge cycling and triathlon community, fantastic first class facilities and great weather in winter you can also spot more and more professionals enjoying the riding here.
Today I will take you around the NAS Loop, also known as DXBike or District One Loop. It is a 9.2 km two lane loop, only for bikes. It is located just outside Business Bay and is easy to reach by bike from Downtown, Jumeirah or Business Bay Area. Due to its facilities including showers, changing room, bike rental and coffee place (LOOP) it is a great place to enjoy a quick spin before or after work. We used the place for our time trial races a few years back and it is still a great place for some hard efforts on the TT bike, best early mornings when there are less people on the track, the evenigs are a bit more busy with slower people and families so more caution is advised.
I did 4 laps today, the day I landed coming overnight from Frankfurt and I wasn't fully fresh. One hot lap still had to be done and i managed 11:48min with an average speed of 46.8 km/h pushing around 335 Watts avg.
I did the lap on my S-Works SHIV TT bike - no speedsuit or TT helmet this time

All data in the video description as well as explaining it in the video - but around 335, my best effort was around 390 Watts when I took the KOM (over 50km/h)
