So the regular album version was trimmed in 2 or 3 places, I think the difference is a little over a minute of music is not there. This version, which is technically the full recording of all 3 cues which make up the full “Desert Chase” has only been made available from the 1995 or 1996 LP release, which is why the quality isn’t as great as it could be. And I’ve edited it to match the edit they made to fit the film as well.
The Vinyl release by DCC, yes. The re-released album in 2008 and the OST have sections cut out, and I'm pretty certain they don't utilize the film takes.

I love this one. It's almost mixed with a hint of patriotic leitmotifs from John Williams, with somewhat of a hint of Jerry Goldsmith magic.
This one has to be my favorite probably. Incredible scene with an incredible score to back it up

Yeah that’s a piano with some string assist, not an electric guitar.
