Just converted to islam yesterday. Honestly the best decision ever made. I converted my husband too, to islam. Wearing my burqa i purchased. Honestly I am not gonna step out from home without it. Best decision ever made. Allah made women to be modest and not show their beauty to anyone except their husband and that is for the best 🕋🛐🤲🏻

pray in english till you are learning arabic pray and then start arabic prayer in portions, be easy don't rush i just have one advice never stop learnign and dont let other people judge you may ALLAH make it easy for you

I was raised Apostolic Pentecostal, which is a denomination Christianity, but have always felt a pulling towards Islam. While i'm not sure whether I will convert, I am grateful for your information. I will continue to learn and see if this is a step for me. Thanks for your education on the topic.
I grew up pentecostal too, it was nothing but driven by fear instilled in me as a child. I have always loved God, but never felt close to him as a christian. Subhanallah, Allah shows the way 🤲

I’ve been thinking about it so long, but my concern is that I won’t be a good muslim. I understand its a process but i still want to start off righteous. I’ll research more and educate myself first. Don’t worry sis, I converted when I was 20 and it was a long process for me to get to being a better Muslim. The only person who can judge you is God and no one else. I’ve always wandered around Islam growing up. I always felt so spiritually alone and I’ve tried attending multiple churches. There’s something here that just pulls me, idk. I’ll keep researching and be sure before I make a choice to convert. Thank you so much for this.

Congratulations sister Just remember, all you did is changing your compass. There is still a road to walk toward Allah, and the means by which, and thru which you walk that road is how you will be judged. On that road you will find many distractions, accusations, people that actually , know that you are on the right path just want to distract you out of hate, or jealousy or ignorance, or for whatever reasons they might have. You need to stay focused on your mission in life and that is to end it well and go to heaven. We are here on a temporary trip. I am 40 and spiritually lost. To be honest, I hated Islam when younger and served in the US military. Over the last few years, something about Islam is almost like reaching out to me. I see the strength and values of Muslim families, and the strength of their faith. Where do I turn if I am interested in learning more. The Islamic community isn't exactly big where I live, and I feel too nervous to just go to the Islamic center as an outsider who knows nobody there.

I am feeling a strong pull towards Islam. I was raised in a christian family but I have never felt connected to the religion. I was confused by how many different versions of the bible there are and how many different interpretations of the bible there are. I was wrong about Islam for many years, I believed it to be an authoritve religion that controls every aspect of ones life. As I study what Islam is I began to understand that Islam is anything but controling. One can dye hair listen to rock and roll party with other people. I will continue to research and understand what Islam is.

That’s tough but luckily there are a lot of online communities you can join instead of going to the mosque. and then maybe make it a special trip one day to go to the mosque. I was raised Apostolic Pentecostal, which is a denomination Christianity, but have always felt a pulling towards Islam. While i'm not sure whether I will convert, I am grateful for your information. I will continue to learn and see if this is a step for me. Thanks for your education on the topic.

I’ve been thinking about it so long, but my concern is that I won’t be a good muslim. I understand its a process but i still want to start off righteous. I’ll research more and educate myself first. Don’t worry sis, I converted when I was 20 and it was a long process for me to get to being a better Muslim. The only person who can judge you is God and no one else. Just remember, all you did is changing your compass. There is still a road to walk toward Allah, and the means by which, and thru which you walk that road is how you will be judged.
On that road you will find many distractions, accusations, people that actually , know that you are on the right path just want to distract you out of hate, or jealousy or ignorance, or for whatever reasons they might have. You need to stay focused on your mission in life and that is to end it well and go to heaven.
We are here on a temporary trip. We are here staying for a while and no matter how long you'll live, you will leave to go live a never ending life, everything else is a distraction. The hate, the ignorance, and many other things.
Stay focused and keep learning and put hard work into what you learned otherwise it's meaningless.

I recommend the book is call the sittings of Ramadan I don’t know if has been translated or English but in Arabic is call( مجالس رمضان) for the sheikh Uthaimeen very nice book every night of Ramadan has lesson

I am 40 and spiritually lost. To be honest, I hated Islam when younger and served in the US military. Over the last few years, something about Islam is almost like reaching out to me. I see the strength and values of Muslim families, and the strength of their faith. Where do I turn if I am interested in learning more. The Islamic community isn't exactly big where I live, and I feel too nervous to just go to the Islamic center as an outsider who knows nobody there.

There’s a really great institute called Yaqueen institute yaqueeninstitute.org with great videos by Dr. Omar Suleiman , they are on RUclips as well and you can definitely learn more about Islam there with lectures and webinars . Just a better insight on Islam in general. I also really believe in community and hopefully the Mosque near you is all about that. I would try reaching out by email first and see what they say!

I am feeling a strong pull towards Islam. I was raised in a christian family but I have never felt connected to the religion. I was confused by how many different versions of the bible there are and how many different interpretations of the bible there are. I was wrong about Islam for many years, I believed it to be an authoritve religion that controls every aspect of ones life. As I study what Islam is I began to understand that Islam is anything but controling. One can dye hair listen to rock and roll party with other people. I will continue to research and understand what Islam is.

That’s tough but luckily there are a lot of online communities you can join instead of going to the mosque. and then maybe make it a special trip one day to go to the mosque. What’s really important is praying and reading the Quran and doing the 5 pillars if possible. Check out the links of the communities I talked about . Trust in Jesus, Hell is real and eternal! This is what the Bible says about it..
"The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matt 13: 41-42
Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven "I am the way, the truth, and the life no one comes to the father but by me." John 14:6 Ask God to reveal this to you- He will!
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Rom 3:23 ADMIT THAT YOU'RE A SINNER. We've all broken God's laws and ten commandments.. "Thou shalt not lie, steal, covet, dishonor parents, take God's name in vain.."(Exodus 20) We do not have righteousness on our own to get to heaven, "God made him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Cor. 5:21 Godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against the righteous God and there is a change of heart, we change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out. God is deadly serious about sin, when we genuinely repent we hate sin just as God hates it, and we turn away from it.
"But God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. He saves us from sin and hell and brings us into a relationship with him. We become God's children. We are saved from hell, eternal death.
"For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
