Now we need an episode of South Park where they go back to casa Bonita and find out it’s closed and then at the end of the episode they announce the reopening date
Oh you know damn well there will be some episodes about casa Bonita at some point. Even if the show is done with by the time it's all done, they'd HAVE to release some specials to go along with the opening.
Can't wait!
@@Love_N_Let_Live I agree!!! And Primus can play at the Grand Opening! They should have bought the Coney Island Hotdog too! 😆🤗🥳
@@SarahNGeti I would be so happy to see Primus in Casa Bonita! I've seen Primus live a couple times already. 👌
@@Love_N_Let_Live Awesome! Yes it would be epic! The first concert i ever went to when i was 14 was Primus with the Melvins at a smaller venue. Cheers!
@@SarahNGeti Sick! ❤️
"Well was it worth it?"
"............tooooootallyyyyy..."
"Dive ASSHOLE!"
Cosa bonita was a miserable failure. Trey and matt are heroes for putting in millions of dollars to save this place from dying.
If I ever go to denver, I would really love to go to this place, All thanks to trey and matt for buying and saving a dying business.
#southparkneverdies 😂
It's not located in Denver.
@@johnnysope8690 They probably aren't geography experts and just group the metro area as "Denver"
@@johnnysope8690 I just looked at the map and it’s basically in Denver. Imagine correcting someone because it’s like 5 miles out 😂 it’s 7 miles from the Denver zoo
@@monkeyman9856 Lakewood
@@johnnysope8690 Dude, who cares!!! I just want mah SOPAPILLAS!!!
Come on.. you know you didn't go there for the food.
The tradition will remain the same after the renovations.
I’ve never been to casa Bonita begin from New Jersey myself, but I’ve learned about it from South Park and now that I’ve heard that Matt and trey bought it and now renovating it made me now want to visit Colorado just to see the spectacle.
It’s not even about the food.
@@steverogers7601 Yes, build it and THEY WILL COME!
Between them, these guys have almost 1 and half Billion dollars, renovating that place is not going to be a major problem.
It’s not like they have 1.5 billion dollars in the bank. They would have to sell South Park rights/future royalties and Book of Mormon licence to get close to that amount of money. I’m not sure they have a lot of money liquified
@@anchovy2764 I don't think this restaurant is gonna break the bank though.
My kids and I would go about once or twice a year for the shows and memories. We have been keeping an eye on the progress and reopening day so we can go. We will definitely be there. We love Mexican food and love the shows ( hopefully updated). I can't wait, so excited!
Suppose you think taco bell is real mexican food too lol. But foreal, i wish i had a casa bonita in my town
it'll all be worth it in the end, Matt and Trey
Yes, I am patiently waiting! Adults will have their birthdays there, mainly Gen X haha
Trey and Matt will look great and Speedos being cliff divers
yes!!!!
Don’t touch my Sopapillas!!!
A documentary would be sweet
It looks like how mold smells.
I’m guessing this story is just to drum up publicity. Surely they had an inspection before paying $3M for a restaurant. They had at least some idea of what they were getting into.
It's not even a standalone building, these dollars are crazy ridiculous
I'm Soo glad there not cutting corner's and are making sure everything is updated
Matt and Trey are chads
Lol 😂 15 million to them is nothing. Between South Park royalties (from MULTIPLE streaming services)…paramount paying them insane money…and there broadway shows…they can pis that and not notice. They honestly prob don’t want the hassle and that’s it.
$3 Million for that place seems like an absurdly low price.
I went Denver a few years ago to visit a succubus and I made sure to visit Casa Bonita when I was there. I was ASTOUNDED by the place. Easily and by a huge margin the most disgusting food I've ever eaten. But the show was great and I had a blast. If black bart's cave doesn't have that 80s theme park mold smell to it when they're done, it'll be sad. The place was a time machine for anyone older than about 35. I'm definitely going back when they're done!
It's located in Lakewood not Denver.
@@jooson2826 Close enough, no reason to be pedantic 😋
@@SarahNGeti If you live in Denver you'll realize both cities are world's apart culturally.
@@johnnysope8690 😝
@@johnnysope8690 Were you born in Colorado?
The entire country is watching this Resturant saga..
A South Park spin-off centered around Butters would pay for the renovations in no time!
They should paint that building blue!
Matt Stone is worth 700 Million, I think he will be OK spending 15 Million to fix Casa Bonita.
Well, I live 1000+ miles away, and I would defiantly fly out to Denver to see this place open.
It's not located in Denver.
@@johnnysope8690 I’d say 7 miles from the Denver zoo is basically Denver.
@@monkeyman9856 obviously you don't live in Denver
@@johnnysope8690 SHUT-UP PLEASE! This is the 30th time you have said that! You really know how to kill the VIBE 🥱🥴😒
@@johnnysope8690 You expect a flight into Lakewood, moron? If you didn't have your heard up your backside you'd know flying into Lakewood is not an option.
Man, they said they were prepared to spend what it takes .. guess that's really been put to the test but they have a re-opening date scheduled for May, so here's hoping!
Let’s Go!
It so needed this renovation. Glad they have deep pockets.
wouldn't it be cheaper to tear it down and rebuild it?
They can afford it ...
Yeah, but what are they going to say? "We're so rich that $15 mil is a drop in the pool. We don't even notice a $4M AC system. You people are beneath us." Because I'm sure that'll go over well. OF COURSE they're going to be self deprecating and pretend that they have the same problems we do, if they didn't, they'd be monsters. I wish more people would recognize this. Yes, they are rich. So what?
To be fair, they’re the rare example of people who got really rich where if you look at their body of work and how much creative energy they put into it even today, you think “yeah, if anyone deserves it, it’s them.” They’re not just rent-seeking, even at this point in their careers.
@@User0000000000000004 It's just money....but Sopapillas and cliff diving is GOLD!!
New epsidoe sounds wild
This place is awesome I love it they will make all the money back if they do a good job
40 million to fix it
Yes, renovations are a lot of work. How is this news.
The place is opening and people are excited.
Damn good thing they have life long paying fans
I think they opened a Pandora's box
Scraping dead animals from the roof is now the new name of my middle ager punk band, called it!
Only Fox news would bash something good... You'd think you would have learned from the past few years. But no....
hire Cartman and th e gang
Use to love this place…..not sure if I could eat there after all this info scraping dead animals off the roof…..😮💨😬🤢🤮
It's all protein my friend.
Their cleaning it up because the previous owners never did care to keep it clean
You loved it before the dead animals were scraped from the roof but now are unsure? Weird.
this place is an eyesore. tear it down. i would love to see more parking there. west Denver suffers from a serious lack of safe, convienient parking.
It was a eyesore but when it's finished it'll look beautiful
Piss on you
