Austin is the most interesting, exciting place to be right now because the Mothership ATX is attracting talent like Kam. You should meet some of the amazing people who haven’t been pulled yet, but most comics agreed from the minute he showed up, Kam was the one to watch. Kam’s uncle David Jolly is also an incredible comedian. There is definitely a cultural phenomenon happening here.

I fuckin love Kam Patterson. I watch dozens and dozens of comedians every week that I love, but he's so unique and charismatic that I don't ever remember feeling this much love for a comedian. He deserves his success and I feel like he's my little brother who I will die for. This is what so many black comedians fought for, HE IS HIM.
Kam is one of the realest men I've seen in a minute. I'm so glad he's getting all this attention. He definitely deserves it. I could listen to him talk forever.

kam's a real one man. some of the happiest people in the world have gone through the hardest struggles ya know? the intro clip talkin bout his uncle selling his own brother's car for crack.... NEXT DAY instead of waiting for a while. dude either got extremely ripped off or he's got a brick or two and he won't be coming around for quite a while. either way i wouldn't have believed the "i need $2 for a hat" in the middle of the night story. i'd never let ANYONE borrow my car... even if its "around the block" nah, a LOT can happen between here and "around the block" and back ya know? i learned too much too early... and i feel like the more you know the more miserable you are overall. i wish i could push through it and smile like kam p. proud of ya bro, doing your dream and makin money in this day of society is hard as hell. comedy is our last frontier of freedom of speech
