That's exactly why I quit even watching, if I can't afford tickets then I'll just catch who wins the next day for free. You know it's pretty bad when the fans can't afford tickets
All pro sports are turning into this. The revenue from these events don’t come from fans, they come from corporations who buy the tickets and give them out to whoever they’re trying to butter up. That’s why the market for them is so out of whack. Look at the boxes at pro sports or courtside seats, or any high priced tickets…. It’s not fans who pay for them bc they want to see it. It’s businesses who buy them and give them out for favors to people who probably don’t even follow the sport. The entire world is fake, that’s the point.

I believe what Chael actually said, the sentence end with “even in a stoppage”. Had he not included that condition, I’d have agreed with him and you. But to say that one should be exhausted, even in the case of stoppage is just stupid. 😱What if someone’s super-fit, is known to come on stronger as the fight goes on, knocks out their opponent at the start of the 2nd round? How would it be possible in such a scenario to be exhausted? 🤔Obviously mine is a somewhat extreme example, but the point remains that it’s really a pretty ridiculous thing to say, especially coming from someone like Chael. With all the experience he has at being a commentator and an orator, he should absolutely have know better than to make such a sweeping statement.🤨😳

300 is such a let down we are more interested looking past it and onto khamzat vs whittaker and mcgregor vs chandler. the only people buying 300 ppv is sports bars and restaraunts and group parties. nobody at home alone is paying $80 to watch ufc anymore its not affordable who can pay $80 for a tv show when you can watch it free 5 min later after its done
It's cheaper to pay for ppv than to uber to the bar drink the whole time and then uber home. That alone is easily $100.. if not $150. For $100 I can sit on my couch drinking beers, toke up, cook bbq, play beer pong, play darts, etc,. UFC is boring after it's no longer live. Yes, 300 is kind of a let down but 5 hours of GOOD fights is fine by me!! I used to boycott UFC after I had to pay for ESPN+ just to watch fight night and to order the ppv.. I missed out.. life is short.. live it up!

In order of probability I would put: 1. Chimaev finishes Whittaker within three rounds. 2. Chimaev tires out Whittaker more than himself by pressuring him. 3. Chimaev paces himself for the championship rounds to be fresh there. I find it very hard to believe Chimaev will be more exhausted in the fourth round than Whittaker.

From what I am seeing, Strickland is being a giant cry baby right now. "I'm not fighting backwards!" "Izzy got an immediate rematch against Alex." "Everyone, Rogan thought I won, Dana thought I won."... Fighting backwards? He was a backup fighter because Driscus was hurt and had no business being in there at that time when it came to rankings, he won that fight, great, but if the UFC wants to give the title fight to someone, prove it should be you with your next match, crying is just annoying! Izzy got an immediate rematch because he cleaned out the division... just like every fighter gets if they want it after cleaning out a division, Strickland didn't even defend the title once. And yes Rogan and Dana thought Strickland won... but they both said it was a close fight before stating they thought Strickland won, they didn't say it was a robbery... the only people who are crying robbery are those biased cry babies. After moving up to face ranked opponents I haven't been impressed by Chimaev. Usman is his biggest win, but we all know that was a washed version of Usman coming off the couch on short notice at a different weight class and still Chimaev bored me
