I take the line " I swear that I dont have a gun" is something he took from psychiatric appointments. Because when you're diagnosed with depression, or in Kurt's case Manic Depression, the psychiatrist will ask you a lot, almost every session "Do you have a gun" or something along the lines of "Are you planning on hurting yourself?". So maybe Kurt was just having some lyrical play on that
Also to add. He follows up his constant line of "dont have a gun" with memoria, which is also psychiatrical moves of asking about past experiences, aka memoria
