People can laugh or whatever but that is a VERY respectable time. That is comparable to many stock cars from the 60s with 5.7 to 7.0 liter engines. Similar to 80s mustangs and camaro's etc. Would CRUSH a stock 308 Ferrari . All with a blender engine connected to the front wheels with somebody using a MT. Maybe by todays standards its not "fast" but I would say any time below 15.5 can be considered fast in terms of the history of cars. I own this car (one like it, 2019). I paid 21k for mine which makes it way below average cost of a new car today and one could EASILY say a "cheap" car. It doesn't feel cheap in anyway IMO. Especially when you compare it to what you used to get as a compact economy car. The quality of everything is light years ahead of what you got not that long ago and going back to the 70s and 80s these things would be considered HIGH END really for a daily driver type car. The advancements and standard equipment and reliability today is INSANE if your old enough to remember what cars WERE like. I few little tweeks and this thing would DESTROY exotics that cost 70K around 1980 and in todays dollars would cost 150K or more. Drag racing, road course and anything you could think of. If you went back in time and let somebody drive one of these and told them it cost 6000.00 in adjusted dollars almost NOBODY would buy ANYTHING else. I bought a loaded 5.0 Mustang MT in 1988 that was around 16K and after 22 years of inflation bought this for 5k (MSRP is around 24K to be fair) more and it has very similar 0-60 and 1/4. Better fuel economy, better brakes and on and on. Mustang felt faster and probably was, but not by much in reality and actual #s. These cars also don't swap ends super easy and aren't horrifying to drive in the wet or slippery conditions. That is a good time for a pretty basic car with 1.6 liter engine and FWD with a mild " factory performance/sport package" that is really just a grocery getting people mover /economy car. I do wish these/my car came with a de-tuned version of Hyundai's 2.0T even if it were only like 225 Hp and 220 Tq . Considering everything else in the ' package" you get with the N-Line it would be very near to the perfect fun hatch and I think the chassis , brakes, etc etc. Would be up to the task and I don't think it would hurt MPGs when driven sane. Good luck, nice pass and happy I found the video to get an idea of what these cars do stock in the real world and personally I think it is quite impressive and I reckon you have good skills to make that pass with a FWD manual car with 200hp weighing 3-3100 Lbs. I really enjoy my car mostly and have been SHOCKED actually with its performance in regards to handling and the ratio of handling to ride quality. Not long ago the level of handling and grip would have meant an awful stiff ride with lots of banging on bumps. The TIRES that come with the MT N-Lines are a big part I think but I have done some crazy shit in mine where I thought I did something stupid and might eat a bag of shit and the car just stuck like a booger and pulled me out the other side. Braking is also surprisingly good for street car and steering is nice as well. I haven't owned a new car in a while so I didn't realize how far cars (even "basic" ones)have improved. I thought it felt good on my test drives but when I actually did stupid shit in it I was shocked it was that good. LSD would be nice or at least less wheel hop in certain scenarios but overall beyond my expectations. But I do miss a little more power at HWY speeds which I think the DCT kind of addresses by kicking down to the right spot in the powerband of the blender when I test drove that model but I still wouldn't give up the MT and with ALLL that said GOOD ON YOU HYUNDAI for selling me a MT car and giving me a 1200.00 discount for doing so, love you guys for THAT! Good luck brother!! I am gonna sub. I figure if this is a baseline run I will see what you do and how you get into the 14s or perhaps below if your a madman.
Just got the JB4, currently having issues with it. Haven't been able to connect to it with the Bluetooth connect kit to pull a datalog. I think I have a bad chip
Update for you. I got my jb4 working like a charm now. Will be uploading a clip of me racing on map3 against a Acura rsx, wasn't running perfect on that run because a bug on the version I had on the tune. But after talking with BMS got a newer version and no more issues. Now waiting for boost season, I mean winter.

@@samuelvanlane Sounds good. How well do you hook with no LSD? Have you done stuff to help with wheel hop/ tramp launching?
I'm currently working with a JB4 to get numbers, having issues with it.
