*NO HATE JULIA!! I LOVE YOU and I have been watching you since ur MacBook unboxing last year when you only had like 1k-2k subscribers and I was part of that era!* BUT uhh.. she isn't the original.. i knew all the hacks(except hot corners) from other videos from previous years that different youtubers made.. BUT i would say people should show credit where they're do.. after you posted the first video, SOO many other ppl remade a similar version of it so a little shoutout from them wouldn't hurt like lauryn doan(WHO IS AMAZING!) gave a couple tips on customizations BUT said IN THE VIDEO that she was inspired by julia and put julia's video and julia's website in her description and more people should do that if all the tips are the same.. but again idt you can go as far as calling her an original..? but she was def a trend starter regarding these tips during this time.. just not the original

Ok but here’s the thing, some of your tips/tricks-ex: customizing your folder icons-have been around for years. Not everything you’re saying is at all new, so people aren’t stealing “your” stuff, they’re just saying what they like. If they like setting things up many of the ways you do then that’s what they want to show people. Plagiarism/copyright infringement would be if they’re taking your content or thoughts and are literally putting it back out there. Just saying, don’t always thing everything derived from your videos.
That being said, cool video.
yes this is exactly what i was saying! i never said it wasn’t okay to do that. i am saying that there were 2 videos out there that i stumbled on where every single thing was the same! i didn’t want to name names, but i feel like it would’ve helped people understand what i was saying a lot better 😂! (they even said the almost exact words that i said in my intro too... 😂) that’s what i was talking about!!!

I don’t have a Mac but I was still able to do a lot of these on my Dell laptop! It was almost the same for a lot of these but I don’t think I can change the folder icon but I’m fine with that! Thank you so much for this! My laptop feels so much more like me now!
