Have to disagree on Havertz. Having watched both if this guy was English he'd get the same amount of hype Jadon Sancho does coz they're similar level talents. Had a poor first game but in the last 3 games when he's been playing as a 10 he's been at the centre of everything good Chelsea have done in an attacking sense. Has also done well tracking back and winning the ball too. It's just potential now of course but imo this guy will be one of if not the best player in the league in his prime. Goalscoring, playmaking, areal ability, positional vercilitiy, size, speed, football IQ. He has it all.

They are not only judging their ability but what they bring to the team. The Arthur and Pjanic deal seems a bit sketchy. In reality the deal was Pjanic + £10m. £10m was what changed hands. The clubs must be benefitting somehow financially by claiming they were individual transfers with those huge market values. The transfer values are irrelevant because the only money that changed hands was the difference between the 2 fees. They are pretty much claiming the highest value they can for those 2 players without getting called out on it. Not sure if the benefit is raising the cost of assets, some tax benefit or what? But clearly there is a benefit to both sides for these unrealistic transfer values. If either player had gone in a regular one way transfer, no way would the fee have been that high. For that reason, I'd have been inclined to leave them out of the list.

For example, buying Ruben Dias was necessary because u cannot develop players like Stones if they get injured all the time. Also, the sale of Kompany means that we needed someone with leadership and since the market is so expensive nowadays, we had no choose but to pay up that kind of money for Ruben Dias. And Mendy is another person who fits this category. Due to injuries, we cannot develop him to the standard that we would have wanted. Although people will point out the fact that we paid 50 mil for him, he has the potential to be amazing but due to unfortunate injury’s, city could not develop him in order for him to reach this level

Look I’m a Man City fan too but due to unfortunate circumstances, we have to spend this money. For example, buying Ruben Dias was necessary because u cannot develop players like Stones if they get injured all the time. Also, the sale of Kompany means that we needed someone with leadership and since the market is so expensive nowadays, we had no choose but to pay up that kind of money for Ruben Dias. And Mendy is another person who fits this category. Due to injuries, we cannot develop him to the standard that we would have wanted. Although people will point out the fact that we paid 50 mil for him, he has the potential to be amazing but due to unfortunate injury’s, city could not develop him in order for him to reach this level
