Yoo mine wasn't even an extraction, just cavity filling, but they had to thumb twice and idk where they jabbed it the second time but j couldn't even feel my eyelid for 9 hours haha xD I kept drooling from that side of my face. The numb tingling of my cheeks, nose and mouth felt like when I'm tipsy

My dentist put 3 anaesthesia to me because my roots were really deep and i could still feel pain when he was cleaning my tooth 🦷😔 and like after 4 or 5 anaesthesia to the gums the pain started to numb 😂

Be careful with the temperature when you’re numb! You’ll burn yourself and not realize until it wakes back up. Former RDA who has seen it first hand unfortunately.
I've been there. I was so thirsty but one side of my mouth was numb from the shot. I tried to drink but it ended up dribbling out. Be careful when eating. They usually tell you not to eat until the feeling comes back because you could bite your lip off and never know.

I know that to well sad thing I went to the dentist get my 2 teeth pulled out using numb medicine with needle after done my mouth numb the dentist tell me I can’t use straws wash my mouth with salt water I can only drink soups soft foods for 2 or 3 weeks bad thing I had to go to my cousin funeral in Houston I was limited on certain foods good part of road trip I get ice cream to help numb the pain dentist give me note to go to pharmacy get medication for my pain for my mouth my cousin try get me drink 🍹🥃🍶🍾 I tell them I can’t I’m on medication edit most of all I can’t have spicy foods make worst my mom say I can’t have beef & seafood that is cruel after those 2 or 3 weeks I got normal I recovered fast within 1 week but my mom tell me better follow the dentist order 2 or 3 weeks
@@pandamoon8067 it’s good you were able to recover, sorry you had to get your teeth pulled!! for me, it wasn’t that severe. i didn’t take care of my teeth for years and had a ton of cavities, but thankfully i was able to get them all removed with minimal problems. the only issue was that i needed a route canal, and that alone kept me going back to the dentist. i had to take some steroids because the endodontist thought my tooth might be able to recover-sadly it didn’t, and they had to remove the nerves from my tooth, but it was okay in the end, and at least i’m lot dealing with pain and sensitivity in that tooth anymore. they put anesthesia in my mouth so many times last year lmaoo but it wasn’t the end of the world. i’m just glad i didn’t have to have any of my teeth removed. so take care of your teeth, guys, unless you want horrible side effects lol can i ask how your teeth are doing now?

Oh no!! As a dental professional for 20+ years, usually if you’re still numb, you’re not supposed to eat anything that requires chewing, as you’ll bite the shit out of your numb tongue and lips while eating and not even realize until you’re dealing with painful sores for daysss. Typically the numbness only lasts a few hours so try pudding, broth, and things you can just drink until the numbness is gone. I hope you’re feeling much better and your tongue wasn’t too bad after this 🙈

i feel you 💀 when i got my first small cavity, they tried to use a little bit of anesthesia. little did they know, they would have to give me like 3 or 4 more injections of anesthesia cause i could still feel them drilling into my teeth 😭 my face was numb the rest of the night and i had to record my spanish project so girlie had a noticeable lisp 💀
they only inject me once, and when i still feel the pain, i just bear it and my total teeths that been taken was 6 and not all in same time, 1 week 2 teeth, and 1 week 1 tooth
