In this video, she talks about Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Autism spectrum disorder(ASD) is a Neurodevelopmental disorder. People with autism often have problems with social communication and social interaction, and restricted or repetitive behaviors or interests. People with ASD may also have different ways of learning, moving, or paying attention. It is important to note that some people without ASD might also have some of these symptoms. But for people with ASD, these characteristics can make life very challenging.
Some early signs of autism usually appear in the first 1-2 years of life.
Some children have many early signs, whereas others have only a few. The number of signs children with autism have varies according to their age and the effect that autism has on their everyday lives.That’s why professional evaluation is crucial.

തലച്ചോറിലെ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ മൂലമുണ്ടാകുന്ന വികസന വൈകല്യമാണ് ഓട്ടിസം സ്പെക്ട്രം ഡിസോർഡർ (ASD). ASD ഉള്ള ആളുകൾക്ക് പലപ്പോഴും സാമൂഹിക ആശയവിനിമയത്തിലും, നിയന്ത്രിത അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആവർത്തിച്ചുള്ള പെരുമാറ്റങ്ങളിലും താൽപ്പര്യങ്ങളിലും പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുണ്ടാവാറുണ്ട് . ASD ഉള്ള ആളുകൾക്ക് പഠിക്കാനും നീങ്ങാനും അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാനും വ്യത്യസ്ത വഴികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കാം. ASD ഇല്ലാത്ത ചില ആളുകൾക്കും ഈ ലക്ഷണങ്ങളിൽ ചിലത് കാണപ്പെടാറുണ്ട് . എന്നാൽ ASD ഉള്ള ആളുകൾക്ക്, ഈ സ്വഭാവസവിശേഷതകൾ ജീവിതം വളരെ വെല്ലുവിളി നിറഞ്ഞതാക്കുന്നു .
ഓട്ടിസത്തിന്റെ ചില പ്രാരംഭ ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ സാധാരണയായി ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ 1-2 വർഷങ്ങളിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു .ചില കുട്ടികൾക്ക് പല ആദ്യകാല ലക്ഷണങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്, മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് കുറച്ച് മാത്രമേ കാണപ്പെടുന്നുള്ളു . ഓട്ടിസം ബാധിച്ച കുട്ടികൾക്കുള്ള അടയാളങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം അവരുടെ പ്രായത്തിനും ഓട്ടിസം അവരുടെ ദൈനംദിന ജീവിതത്തിൽ ചെലുത്തുന്ന സ്വാധീനത്തിനും അനുസരിച്ച് വ്യത്യാസപ്പെടുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ പ്രൊഫഷണൽ മൂല്യനിർണ്ണയം വളരെ അത്യാവശ്യമാണ് .
പലർക്കും സമാനമായ ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ പ്രകടമാകുമെങ്കിലും തീവ്രത, ആവൃത്തി, ദൈർഘ്യം, ദൈനംദിന ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇവയുടെ സ്വാധീനം എന്നിവ ASD രോഗനിർണയത്തിൽ ഒരു പങ്കു വഹിക്കുന്നു.
