Newsflash! My Marantec M4500 was working from the wall switch, but not from any of my remotes. I tried new batteries in the remotes to no avail. When I swapped antennas from one garage door to my other garage door, the problem seem to be with the antenna so I figured I might need a new antenna. Looked online for a new antenna and they basically unavailable; decided as a last resort to spray some deoxidizing electronic contact cleaner (“tuner cleaner” us old guys call it) on the four little prong contacts where the antenna fits into the controller unit. Boom! Everything works fine….all the remotes now function, and all is good. You might want to give this a try if all else fails, it worked for me.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! I pinned your comment so that anyone looking for a solution can see what worked for someone else. I will have to try this as well on my right side garage door opener.
Is this just pairing or does it also change the code? One remote is missing and I want the one I have to be updated with a new code even though it's already paired.
How do you remove a remote because I try to program the same remote on both garage doors because it has two separate buttons and they still open both doors
thank you for the video, it's very helpful!!! I have a question: the house I have that previous owner knocked off eye sensor wires at bottom of the door. I see two blue and two white/blue wires dangling loose there. I don't know which is which, lol?
PLEASE HELP.. I have a marentec remote and im trying to add a universal remote to the motor but anytime i add one it deletes the other. I tried holding both buttons down in hopes itll program both but no luck. Is there any way to program another remote without the 3prong without deleting the previous one?
I have 3 key fobs, all of them was successfully connected thanks to your videos! A few weeks later 2 of them stop working, and I tried to reprogram, was able to connect only 1 at a time, not all 3… what’s the trick here?
Question: I’m able to pair one remote doing exactly what you are saying . It works fine . But then the second remote gets unpaired. I do the same with the second remote and then the first one gets unpaired. Any help??
My two remotes have worked fine until today, the red light on one of them stays steady and the door opens and closes at random. I put another battery in and when I push the button the red light came back on and did the same thing. Remote hasn’t been dropped or wet. Any ideas?

Wow I didn’t have to use the prong key, awesome! Clear and precise instructions, thx.
Thank you!!! Ten times better than trying to fumble through the instruction manual. How did we survive before RUclips?!?
Helps a lot!!! Couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks!!

Can I program multiple remotes using this method or will I need the prong key for remotes #2 and #3?
Preciate it straight and to the point. 💪🏽
Really good video mate, but why number 7 ? Thank you
Thanks for producing this video. I have four transmitters. Will each be programmed using a different frequency if I follow these directions?
Wonderful!!! Clear instructions! Thank you!
Couldn't find the prong key, so this saved me! Thanks!
Any idea how to connect these remotes to homelink in cars, the remote will not connect to my car
Yes worked first time. Thank you
Worked the first try. Thank u.
Where can I get that remote?
Thank you!! I was finally able to program our door!
Is there also a way to program two remotes because after I program one it replaced the other instead and only one work. Thank you.
Hi I don't have original remote can i use a universal remote?
Very helpful. Thank you!

I tried it too and can‘t do it with mine. I guess mine are so old, that was not an option, lol. It deletes the other others for me too.
This guy is a legend!

I‘m not sure. Seems like if they all successfully connected before, there shouldn‘t be any issues. Maybe try changing the batteries just to be sure.
@@ChrisMcDowellDIY the batteries work, if I connect key#1 then key#2 fails, if key#2 is connected then key#1 fails. System overload?
Will this erase the other remotes program already?
It did with mine. I tested two remotes and the only one that would work was the last one I programmed.
OMG thank you so much works !!!! 🎉
Ty so much made my life so much easier

How do you delete this programing
OH ya ✅
Thank you! Marantec programing is not very intuitive.
These systems are terrible worst I've owned.
