Woah!! What a game changer! I have some Real Estate Clients that are going to be hitting you up soon! Also, how cool are those stencils that were created after your cut outs. I feel like spray painting a wall with all those possible designs.
whats the difference between the 40w and the 2w IR? I am getting ready to make a purchase and want to know if I should get the kit that comes with the 2w IR. Is it for engraving different materials?
No, I am working on a dependable work around, otherwise- the best approach is to always use close to the max width board so it does not shift side to side.
@@charlenechoate17 I've cut several things, but I do have similar issues at times. The breakpoints should help, I have changed up the bottom a little bit to prevent items from dropping down and getting stuck. I will be doing a follow up video to demo some of this shortly

You could definitely do that!
great information. I have a 20 watt and would love to work with longer materials.
Thanks for Watching
It would be good for like the welcome and seasonal signs people set by their front doors.
Definitely. I'm using it to make some Halloween signs as we speak
where did you get the 8 foot 3mm plywood?
It's called Luan. Home Depot Sells it. I don't know if it's a true 3mm, but it was close enough

@@Doityourselfwithjoe The 40w is for engraving and cutting a wide range of materials. The 2w IR is only for marking on metals.
Thanks for the video. My question is....does the pass through have guides to keep from shifting left/right for length?

How thin does the material have to be to fit in the pass-through feeder?
Less than 14mm or .05 in
Dude, can it engrave metal and can you run a large sheet of frosted acrylic glass? asking for a friend.
Metal, no. Frosted Acrylic, or Frosted Glass? They are 2 very different items
Did you cut anything yet? I used breakpoints and it still keeps getting stuck.
