    Hard anodized aluminum heats much more evenly and efficiently than titanium as well. It makes cooking food directly in your pot much easier. Titanium is great if you just need to boil water but that's about it. Then I used to use my snow peak for cooking I had to keep lifting the lid to stir it, otherwise it would stick and burn the bottom.

    Nice review.....I have a soloist and love it.
    The few extra grams are worth the cooking versatility and the ease of cleaning.
    I have no plans to hike the Appalachian Trail, nor do I pretend that I'm on a thru hike every time I'm out hiking. ...So the small increase in weight is worth it...lol
