Using Red Hood burst 3 times in a row is like the ultimate power
She is good? Yes
Alice level? Not really, a buff will make her be tie to Alice and be SSS like her
Design? Smash
Cooler Rapi? Yes
A technical variant ssr version of rapi. I still look forward a ssr version of rapi.
Well, comparing a jack of all trades with a pure DPS, of course she won't be on the same level. RH is meant to bend in many different teams, bringing something different depending how you use her.
@@JAArias67 RH is basically out of the meta because her 1 time burst gimmick is not worth the huge dps loss, and in the end having 40 seconds CD burst hurts her a lot as well making her not needed besides a niche case of " I lost my burst 1/2 unit" and even then Rapunzel does it better by reviving and providing potent heals. We are talking that people took tests and a R unit deals 60% of RH damage, manual non macro Alice deals 40-50%, and Summer Neon of all nikkes can outdps her.
People want her to make worth of playing her not making her top dps, but for that she either needs much more utility or much more damage, right now shes a jack of all trades that does mediocre at everything even with super investment 10-10-10 and good overloads compared to less geared nikkes, thats the issue. Hell, she makes Alice gearing cheap in comparison

I think people wouldn't be so upset if they didn't nerf her the moment before she actually released. Not a bad character, but she was definitely a more effective one before the last minute tampering.

Also tip: you should use RH burst 1 and 3 bc RH burst 1 gave more damge boost than litter and last longer

RH was netfed last minute and we know what’s she capable of.

The only factor that can win RH against Alice is that RH doesn't need to reload during B3 unlike Alice that requires reload but packs a harder punch damage.
Nevertheless, every NIKKE player's reaction was the same when we learned that RH that activate B1-B3 on her own at first like "WUTDEHELL?!"

The only reason why Red Hood isn't getting much love, is because of the Decrease Cooldown effect for her Burst 1 + 2 that only lasts once.
Remove that, make Cooldowns seperate like we thought it was, and no one would be angry~ :3

But for those of who you who don't know. Be it because you're just catching up or haven't heard.
This video was made BEFORE the massive Redhood buff. To put it simply, her burst 3 got essentially doubled!
To put it simply.
Before buff: At level 10. Her burst three dealt 27.8% of final attack as damage.
After buff: at level 1 (LEVEL 1 MIND YOU!!!), it now deals 38.63% of final attack as damage.
That's right, after buff. A skill level 1 post buff Redhood is FAR stronger than a skill level 10 redhood pre-buff.
At skill level 10 post buff. It's at a monstrous 51.4%.

Again, this video was uploaded and made BEFORE the buff. So if you think what you see here is impressive. After Nov.10. Redhood has essentially turned into GODHOOD!
Which was also funny since that's also when part 2 of the event released. (To which most of the community agress it was a Canon Buff if you know what happens in Part 2 of the story event for redhood).
This video is still amazing regardless and I love it! I doubt he's going to make a second video for a post buff GODHOOD. But yeah, good luck to all of those still pulling~

So wait, how does her burst work then? Does it NEED to be used all 3 times to get the full effect? Like what're the better ways to use her vs the worst?
use 1 and 3 for optimal effect, use 3 times only to assert dominance
It can be used in any burst mode.
The first time it's used in 1 and 2, it doesn't trigger her (40 sec) global cooldown.
Burst 1 is a more powerful Liter Burst, burst 2 paints a target on Red Hood's forehead, and Burst 3 is the Barret 50.

Okay, maybe you might be onto something with the whole Dorothy, Bunny twins, Red Hood, Scarlet set up.
That team let me at least clear the standard Tribal Tower enough to where I was only stopped because I was below 20k power from what was recommended (when in the past I could maybe clear up to about a 5k-10k difference).
I'm also seeing some success in the Story mode and Interception stuff too but I'm not a Min-Max player yet so I'm not 100% sure.
Maybe there is some hope for Red Hood with coming up more solid skill synergies before her getting buffed but no matter what having her get the buff will still be appreciated for sure.
Doro and scarlet carry that entire team. that’s my every day team but I use priv instead.
Please make a short where you put Alice and Redhood on the same team and destroy bosses with the Admi/Privity reload team!

She is great for new palyers and still has a position for late game. You need a setup for alice. RH plays and demolishes herself I think thats her 2nd biggest advantage.
Biggest thing is versatility. Having a unit that can give so many benefits while being able to go full hog is very helpful.

Honestly, her upperhand against Alice is that she can function as both a support and a DPS at the same time.
My line-up is Dorothy, Marancia(Cuz I need healer, might switch her out if I wanna go YOLO), Red Hood, Snow White, Maxwell
First rotation B1 RH, B2 Marancia, B3 Snow White. Here, Red Hood functions as support, buffing team's ATK which Snow White benefits greatly. Combined with Maxwell's buff, Snow White can deal a lot of damage.
Rotation 2 B1 Dorothy, B2 Marancia, B3 Red Hood. This rotation, Red Hood acts as the DPS, covering Snow White's downtime while also dishing an ungodly amount of damage. Now usually the boss would've died at this point, but if it didn't, I would rotate between Snow White's Nuke and Red Hood's Barrage while using dorothy's B1 all the time.
Honestly, I could really use Naga+Tia bundle since they buff atk while also maintain survivability, but I don't have Tia😭

Right. So Alice with O gear and 7k more CP is a bit stronger dps than RH. MID HOOD indeed right fellas??? Red Hood should have been able to out damage alice at level 1 with no gear. Whole game is trash. Uninstalled.

I've seen a lot of different comments on this, but when i was using RH i felt she was SLIGHTLY outperforming my Alice.
My RH is 7-5-6 with 1 overload gear, in comparison, my Alice is 10-5-10 with 3 overload gear. And i still prefer RH
Dunno how the rest are using her, but she IS an Alice on steroids even with the nerf

@@MrDespresso17 Like I said, the battle ends before Alice could finish her burst. For example the battle took 33 seconds Red Hood full 10 secs of burst while Alice only has 3 secs since the battle ends before she can finish her burst.
Alice is better DPS while Red hood is better buffer with her 70% atk buff at 10 secs. Even litter only buff at 60 and last 5 secs.
Nice edit 👏 👏 but it doesn't change the fact that Alice is way better DPS than Redhood in every possible way. Haha dont get me wrong im not denouncing redhood. She is a good charac, just not really worth for 1st anniversary 😂they could've done better
