I have strong feelings about this one. I have both a Reverso Duoface in rose gold and a Tank XL in steel. My overall take is that the Reverso is the clear winner by virtually any measure. Fit, finish, design, detail work, movement, etc. By just about any measure I can think of, the JLC is far superior to the Cartier. In fact, I am a Founding Father of the "Kick the Royal-Oaks-R-Us company out of the Holy Trinity and replace it with JLC" movement. That said, the Tank is a classic and the Tank XL is a great modern interpretation of it. One possible advantage to the Tank: it does dress down more easily and has lots of quick-change straps available that makes it very flexible (thank you Delugs). I will also add that the Tank XL is, in my opinion, far superior to other Tanks because: (1) it has a mechanical movement (the same one as the Santos); and (2) it has a great silver guilloche dial that has a lot more light play than the flat white dial on the other Tanks. Final thought: if you are buying a Tank, do not, repeat NOT, buy it on the steel bracelet. Tanks belong on leather straps.
I LOVED THIS ENTIRE COMMENT!!! Especially because you own BOTH! And I think you’re bang on here. I have only borrowed the Reverso, and I own the tank! I absolutely loved every second of having the Reverso! I have decided I need to own both! I want a Reverso a lot like yours! Except mono face - rose gold mono face. Maybe his and hers for our 10 years wedding anniversary?! The Reverso is sooo interesting! It almost feels more… complex and detailed compared to the tank. If that makes sense?! BUT I DOOOO THINK the quartz Reverso prices are a bit…. Much… 🤣 I think it’s so cool! But man, it’d have to be secondary market for me! 🙈 althoufh I reckon you could ask for some money off at the AD?? Ah doesn’t matter - I’d want a hand wound Reverso! 🙈✨✨✨💕💕
Personally, I think A. Lange would be better suited to the trinity. The Trinity is supposed to be three watchmakers whose standards are above pretty much everyone else. JLC *CAN* reach that level sometimes, but Lange reaches it every time.
As an owner of both, I just sold the Reverso. Although it is a cool watch, I just love my Tank Must Blue. It just wraps around the wrist perfectly. I just never found myself reaching for the Reverso over the Tank
I totally agree on the price. JLC prices for the manual wind reverso literally went from 6k to 9k for no reason. But since they are both parte of the Richmont group I believe it has been done to elevate JLC in the 10/25k bracket where the brand had a bit of a gap.
Go try both pieces. I was interested in the Tank and tried it on my wrist but none of the sizes looked or felt right. I always felt the Reverso was too “dainty” for my taste. However I tired it on once just for fun and my mind went like “whoa, it looked so awesome!” Somehow the proportions was perfect for me plus it gave a classy casual look which is pretty much my style.
Edwin is HERE!!! 💕💕 happy Sunday lovely!!! I so agree - I aesthetically love the tank so much! Such a great looking watch! Love the Reverso too. I think I need both. 😈
JLC's aggresive price raising was heart-breaking for me - it pushed me from being on the fence to not interested. It's trying to become the new Breguet
I appreciate you taking a moment to mention the origins of the Reverso. On a whole 'nother level of problematic history and gross situations, I have a type-A flieger, because I find it to be the most legible, functional design. But that one came with a lot of consideration of its history, and I went with a small blue one to help put some clear distance from its origins. I think it's ok to appreciate quality designs that came from bad circumstances if they weren't themselves emblematic of what was bad, but we should be aware of the history and clear on where we stand with it.
I think you’re sooo right! It’s just the quartz JLC prices that blow my mind 💀 £6,700 for a quartz?! But man, I love both of the watches! I feel like I need both. 😈💕
Yeah, but there is no way if you had the choice that you would take the tank. Well I will take the JLC all day. It's one of my Grails. Not because it's out of my range (the one I want is though), but it's a pure luxury item for me and the day I finally pull the trigger on it, it's going to be a special day. I've always wanted it, but I want the right model.
I'd like to see a side by side of the Cartier Basculate and the JLC Reverso. Both of them are reversible, but I'd argue that you can see more the difference of the feel of the two watches. Cartier leans more towards elegance, while the reverso has more of a sporty feel, but both are very beautiful watches.
The tank is a fantastic watch but the Reverso is hard if not impossible to beat. But in the end it's what you like. I can't imagine anyone buying either watch and being less than thrilled.
I was so lucky to get my Reverso Duoface Large at 4200 GBP from an AD who was losing their rights to sell to the JLC boutique that opened next door, it is now 12,800 GBP! One of my best purchases in my life!
Hi Brit Agree with you on JLC pricing. I’d love a Reverso Duoface but at £12600, it’s only ever likely to happen via C24 or some such. Couple of other points: - yes, the “w” word is fine, as previously discussed! - no problem with you calling out British colonialism, especially in India. A pretty dark part of our history. But, having called that out, isn’t it only right to reflect that the Tank was born out of the most murderous conflict in history, with soldiers, sailors and airmen treated as a purely disposable resource. And there were a lot more nations than Britain involved.
Very interesting, those two. When we compare what one can get at the same price, around £11000, then the choice is easy: JLC Duoface. I find it difficult to justify spending £3000 on a quartz watch, let alone £6700. It has to be mechanical for that money, and it is possible: a pre-owned Reverso. Then again if only £3k are available, it has to be the Tank. Such an icon and the only other version available is the gold Tank Louis for £11k. The current Tank Must Large has the same shape and size as the Louis, so that's a great way to get your hands on an icon.
Second hand Reverso is the only way to go now. The price hikes are so bonkers, I think it begs the question - who is the reverso for now? Because I feel people like you or I are no longer the target audience. Seems targeted at specific territories - I honestly do not know what territories those are but I am interested in what countries they mostly sell to. China? Who knows. When I sold my hulk I bought a fifty fathoms for myself and had enough left over to get the woman a JLC grand taille. I bought her mum a small tank and bought a large one for myself. I had the chance to get the original JLC reverso tourbillon but passed on it - the dealer had the wrong box for it and it put me off. Would like to get it one day if someone gives me shitloads of money
I'd have to be so rich to spend £7+ on a rectangular dress oddity, having said that I think the Cartier is what you get on the way to a Reverso, better movement, horological only brand, cool story and practical complication, like for falling off bikes🙂
JAMES BLONDE IS IN THE HOUSE! You know, rectangular watches are definitely an oddity 🤣 I just love them so much! But I think you’re bang on with your JLC preference! 😍👏🏻
My wife has the tank and she loves it.She wont let me wear it on my 8 inch wrist though.I tried on the reverso duoface in S/S and loved it but then tried on the Duoface in gold .New grail for me but the price is extravagant!
The Reverso Duoface had always been my favorite watch. I had many watches before it, also a Tank. I sold of them because none of them was as satisfying as the Reverso. Have it since 4 years now and i love it. Prices have double since I got it though.
The Cartier Tank design is ostensibly simple. And that's why it's timeless. I'll put it that way. In my collection there would only be room for one and that's not likely to be the unaffordable Reverso.
I wanted the Santos de Cartier for my first luxury watch, but when my Sweetheart said no way given the cost, I capitulated and purchased the Longines dolce vita. Rectangular, 43 x 27, silver dial, Roman numerals, blued hands, on their black semi gloss, alligator/calf strap. It's modified eta 2824 is not cos certified, but it clocks out at a +6,-6 over 6 positions. It's understated while being very high-end looking. The only quirk is the beautiful smooth crown requires a latex glove to wind it. Definitely a poor man's Cartier, but a keeper. Love your reviews. ❤ from Las Vegas.
Good comparison. Never argue with your husband's measurements. If he says it's 6.75", then it's 6.75". No guy likes to hear that he's really 6.5" when he's happy with 6.75".😎😱
I absolutely agree about the prices. JLC went waaaay too far with the recent price hikes. Their watches just are *not* worth that much. I really like the Reverso Tribute Duoface but it's $13,300 and it is definitely not worth that much to me, nowhere near that much (I wouldn't pay more than about $10k for one), so I'm not going to buy it.
All ima say is Hitler wore a Reverso. And the tank is classier and more iconic. Reverso is overhyped and overpriced. You're husband and I have the same tank. Truly the best Tank selection!
No need to worry about your accent - I love it! I also love the Tank and must get around to owning one some day. Do I raid the watch fund to buy one now (my wife will kill me) and risk being unable to afford the Explorer I’m on the list for but will probably never get the call from the AD? My wife will kill me either way so that’s a factor we can ignore.
what are your thoughts on the reverso one monoface with a diamond bezzle? the diamond is understated enough that you can wear it daily but the shape of the dial is way dressier than the classic reverso shape. can you make a video comparing the different JLC reversos?
Im so glad I can see you are way better from your accident! I enjoyed this video, I have a tank Solo L, but would love to have a reverso as well. Have a beautiful week!
Thank you Britt for the video… tuff choice between the two…. The reverso stands out with its movement.. but the price is insane… what do you think about the longines dolce vita, the automatic version? Would love if you could compare those three guys… Thanks again…
Hello, I also own both of them. The Reverso was my graal watch. I own a classic medium reverso ref 256,8,86 and a cartier tank Must vermeil onyx dial vermeil and i really like both. About pricing, i totally agree with you, JLC becomes totally fucked up with their price. Great video BTW.
The Reverso classic duoface in medium was my grail for about two years. Then prices rose by like 40 percent and it did not make sense for me anymore, so I bought a Tank Must solarbeat in large size. Never looked back. Literally haven't thought about the Reverso ever since. The Tank is an absolute icon, and in the solarbeat iteration it is also very carefree. It's super versatile and dresses down very easily, it's my go-to office watch as well as the watch I wear when wearing a polo shirt. Honestly, for like 1/3-1/4 of the price (of the Duoface) I'd go for the Tank 9/10 times. It wears incredibly flat as well, which the Reverso did not when I tried it on at the AD.
I really admire both brands even though I have never been a luxury watch guy until more recently. I tend to gravitate towards the JLC brand because of their versatility and variety but I definitely feel what you’re saying about their pricing. Just when I feel like I’m making real progress on saving up for a Reverso, it seems JLC feels it necessary to move the goal posts lol! I love your video presentations as they are always thoughtful and entertaining. Very well done 🥃
I'd argue that the answer is not 'both' but actually 'neither!'. The JLCs price has obviously been increased well beyond being of any good value and I don't know how people still buy them. Cartier on the other hand wants 3000€ for a Quarz watch with nothing but mirror polishing? I am sorry but neither of these watches are worth buying. There are many great dress watch alternatives that still make sense to buy and it's really time people kick both Cartiers and JLCs ass by getting other brands.
JLC and Piaget were jnfluenced by working for Cartier in the early days. As far as design style, the reverso is an admirable son 👌 who never surpassed his father.
A watch is just a watch and I doubt the relevance of the history connected to these items. It is just bizarre that a watch connected to people playing polo makes you uncomfortable but another watch connected to a war where 20 million people died does not.
There are still a lot of us who still go to Silent Movies in the theatres (at least in Toronto and San Francisco! Hopefully a few of these patrons of old-timey cinema are wearing Louis Cartier's Tank!
I've always liked the Tank, but can't imagine ever being in a situation where I'd wear it. If I *did* ever have to go someplace fancy and dressed up I'd OF COURSE wear my antique and awesome original 1972 Pulsar Time Computer-which I know would be the C😎😎Lest watch on ANY wrist in the room-no matter how snooty any of the other attendees were! OBTW, Seiko makes a solar "tank" for under $100. I own one I've literally worn once. Love the channel, Britt!
Awesome video. I want one of those two for my next wedding (I’m a divorcée and on my first wedding had an Aquaterra, but for the second one want a true dress watch). Can’t go without asking: how’s the Omega rating vídeo going? I’m waiting for it 🎉
Both are icons but as an indian the jlc reverso is more special because of its origin story yes colonisation is not something good but to know such an amazing piece of art and watchmaking has its roots in my country makes me feel good also it is debatable whether cartier or jlc who was first to come up with a flipping mechanism cartier filed patents at the same time of reverso for its cabriolet which later became the bascalanthe
Being a tank nerd and watch loser the Cartier is the one I'd go for. Ngl even hearing you mention in brief how important the Renault was made me feel great to know that such knowledge has left the military history nerd circles
This looks like my dilemma. These two models. Tank LC v Duoface. I'm coming up to London this fall. Can you recommend shops for 2nd hand buyers? Thank so much Britt.
You also can't separate the tea and sugar trades with opium and slavery, but I do enjoy a cup every little while. No need to apologize for history, bravo for acknowledging it.
Love *all* your observations here, Britt. And...yeah, love the Reverso, nut alao hate the price-spike. The Reverso and Cartier Tank aren't exactly chalk-and-cheese, but they *are* similar enough to garner this conversation. ('Course, I don't have the dosh for either, let alone both.)
It was British army officers in India who abolished the Indian tradition of widow burning. The history of empires and countries is indeed a complex matter. My advice would be to concentrate on watches.
Indeed, it was Sir Charles Napier who outlawed the practise of Sati in India. It seems to pass entirely without irony that the tank design is literally based of a weapon of war for France, a vigorously colonizing country in its time! As you say, better to stick to the watch talk.
Reverso prices have got out of hand. Got mine after the first price hike and then not long afterwards they hiked it again by ~$2000 USD. If you must have a JLC I’d go with an ultra thin master moonphase. Just as elegant of a dress watch and hasn’t experienced as many price hikes as the reverso
Britt, a used JLC Reverso Classique is around 3k EUR. Got mine a year ago in mint condition for 2.5k eur. Buying a new one is ridiculous for almost 7k.
I used to own both Reverso and Tank. Now only Reverso. However, I like them both. What bothers me most is Tank's widely recognizable status makes people mistake my Reverso as Cartier Tank. A big putoff for a JLC fan like myself.
I do prefer the reverso! Movement, dial finishing, engeniered flip flop case and finishing. There is no comparison imho. Much more luxurios watch and feeling on wrist compare to cartier tank. As i said you can choose many many options of it in terms of colors, decorations also with precious stones, double face even with masters complications. Overall is on other level that’s the truth. That why I bought it.
Hello and thank you again for a great video with a powerful thematic as well. I got a crush on Jaeger-La Coutrê's since year 2004 when Christopher Nolan included it in his atrezzo for Batman Begins. Yeah, since then and seeing how rocketed its price is every year passing too. Thank you for such a quality videos Brit. Saludos!
I wear a vintage Burgundy Must de Cartier as a casual watch. Maybe it's the plain dial and bold colour that makes it easier to wear out, but I dunno. I've tried on a modern Tank Louis, and nothing much would stop me wearing it casually and carefree like Andy Warhol too, so maybe I'm just the type who can pull off a casual dress watch look.
I would have to agree with your comments here-- comparing the Reverso (manual) with a Tank must (quartz) isn't a fair comparison. I own the reverso duoface and the new red lacquer, rose gold monoface as well as the Black and gold Tank LC-- While I love them all my JLC's get worn way more. I will let you know if this changes as I am expecting another TC later this year.
I totally understand your viewpoint as to the colonization history of the JLC reverso yet having a watch design inspired by a machine of war, designed to destroy and kill, seemingly doesn't faze you. Maybe it's something you never considered before. Putting that aside, there are other rectangular watches that were just designed that way without any inspiration other than the designer liked the shape. I do think that a rectangular watch is the quintessential dress watch. I'm not surprised that you lost your cabochon. They just look like they're begging to get knocked off!
I'm seeing this video late so apologies for the late comment, but I think you bringing up the Reverso's history was really cool. I've seen the Reverso's polo history mentioned in other places but whitewashed of the colonial association. It also helps differentiate you as a unique voice in watches and got me to subscribe, fwiw.
Okay - Polo has Come a long ways in the modern era and is played all over the world. I know horse trainers that work immensely with horses; it is incredible that horses can maneuver with skilled riders to play the sport in this modern era. I would not be so quick to pull the woke trigger on the sport polo. A polo horse and it rider is a lot like tango dancing. There are dozens of queues, position of the body, and finger touch with the reins that provide a seamless guide as to have the two move together; it is truly a work of art.
I totally agree with your analysis. My partner and I have the tank quartz. Two watches cost maybe less than a one Reverso. By the way I just bought a beautiful Pasha C 2324 for 1900 euros 😍
I really hate to be that guy, but I am super keen to know what watch papi does for a living! ~ Aquanaut, gold Daytona, Pepsi on jubilee, explorer ii, master control, tank, santos… if he is seeking apprentices, I can make myself available! 😂 top quality vid as always Britt 😁
Can anyone tell me how long a Quartz watch could last? I am relatively new into watches and despite the fact that I don’t hate quartz I do tend to be more inclined into mechanical watches. But the main reason for that is that I have the idea to past them to my children and grandchildren, and idk if I would be able to do that with a Quartz watch
The Reverso is cool but overpriced. And it wears odd on my 6.75"wrist, so not for me. The Tank is every bit as iconic as a four digit Sub or a Speedy from the Apollo era It will never go out of style and it wears so nice on my wrist. Cheers!
The thing I can't understand is why you would want the JLC Reverso when there is just a plain back. The Dueto I can understand but turning the watch over to show nothing doesn't make sense.
The Cartier Tank is the dressier option and I like wearing it a denim jacket or a zip-up hoodie, a bit of sprezzatura. The Reverso is nice, I am just worried about getting grim in the flipping mechanism.
I didn’t even realize I could dislike the reverso AND link them to British military in India… talk about a peanut butter and chocolate moment…now I really don’t like the reverso. I always assumed the polo players were in Europe. Thanks Brittany for furthering my woke agenda! Hahaha nah but seriously not a fan of the reverso and I love the Tank. Cuz I’m definitely the guy that’s going to wear it with tshirt and jeans. But your points are valid, they are different watches and have strong differences and for many people it’s not one or the other… but it’s the Tank everyday.
@@BrittPearceWatchesI absolutely can! I've been following you before you got that shoutout from that other youtuber. I followed you because you have a different perspective and how quirky you are which I'm here for. Never change! Keep up the great work! Happy labour day weekend from Toronto 🥳🍻 oh also I'm ready for another parody video 😊
I think they are both classics but the Tank is more of a classic and looks better. Also those prices, JLC have to factor in the directors' Ferrari allowance. I have owned a few Tank-a-likes, currently got a Chateau Tank.
Both manufacturers have history. Both brands make quality products. However JLC are definitely the better manufacturer for movement and incredible horology history . JLC in my opinion are in standard of being considered an addition to holy trinity. 🤔Yes Polo players are snobby wankers.
The hardest question lol 😂 I want both! Cartier tank Must Large for me is perfect for everyday fashion 😎 and JLC Reverso Duoface Blue sunburst and white opaline back is perfect for dressing up 🤵♂️
I really love the Reverso on that rough leather strap. That makes it look casual and absolutely cool. I own variants of both watches, a JLC Reverso Squadra Hometime and a Tank Americaine in medium size which I picked up just a few months ago. They are completely different, the Cartier being a dwarf compared to the Reverso. Speaking about prices I find it just crazy that I bought the Reverso for less than 5000 Euro back in 2009. So yeah, it was for sure a very good decision to buy it.
how does the carbechon fall off? i thought only it only happens to fakes? Not saying yours is fake, just curious. Plus, wouldn't people think yours would be fake(at the time of writing this) because the carbechon is missing?
For me, it feels like the Tank has a certain charm and elegance to it the Reverso just doesn't have. The Reversos extra bulk and flip mechanism almost feels gimmicky, and will almost never be used for its intended purpose. For me the Reverso would make sense with a Duoface rather than the Monoface as it would feel like two different watches, but at almost £11,000 for a Duoface they're well off my radar.
I have strong feelings about this one. I have both a Reverso Duoface in rose gold and a Tank XL in steel. My overall take is that the Reverso is the clear winner by virtually any measure. Kick AP out the homy trinity. Should rename the brand Royal Oak.
Abdolutly agree all, and about AP you are simply right. They don’t deserve to be still there, it is a single model company.
is there a significant difference in price between the two watches you talk about?
Personally, I think A. Lange would be better suited to the trinity.
The Trinity is supposed to be three watchmakers whose standards are above pretty much everyone else. JLC *CAN* reach that level sometimes, but Lange reaches it every time.

Agreed.
Who doesn’t want to become Breguet ? Is it wrong? If you are an employee? Don’t you want to climb the ladder?
@@suigong3841 The pricing feels forced. Nobody buys it as a result. It's just a shell, and their watches don't sell.

such a dark time where the english ended slavery and killing of women after their husband died in india.
The JLC has the BETTER movement AND finish BUT the TANK without QUESTION has the BETTER design AND fit!!!!

If you compare independently of the price tag, yes.
OKAY but why DO you NEED to say it LIKE this?
The best compromise is to buy the Tank Basculante, Reverso sensibility + Tank aesthetics

The Cartier tank's design came from tanks which were used by the good guys though.

I Love the Flieger type B!! for me its one of the best and most useful dials on the planet... luftwaffe and goering however

No guy likes to hear that he's really 6.5" when he's happy with 6.75".😎😱
Thank you 😂
I absolutely agree about the prices.
Heh, I would pick Reverso over Tank anyhow, it is way more awesome
Unless it's Santos Dumont, that is exception
Thank you for sharing the heritage of the Reverso. I personally like the Cartier for the design and wearability 😊
Thank you Britt for the video… tuff choice between the two…. The reverso stands out with its movement.. but the price is insane… what do you think about the longines dolce vita, the automatic version? Would love if you could compare those three guys…
Thanks again…
I own a Tank Louis, but I really want to have a Reverso. Like REALLY.
Excellent! Watching from the pub on the last day of my hols.
If I may ask, does the Reverso scratch by flipping it on the backside and back?
Hello, I also own both of them. The Reverso was my graal watch. I own a classic medium reverso ref 256,8,86 and a cartier tank Must vermeil onyx dial vermeil and i really like both. About pricing, i totally agree with you, JLC becomes totally fucked up with their price.
Great video BTW.
The JLC was designed for British soldiers? I now HAVE TO HAVE ONE!!
PS. I'm mixed race of indian/Mauritian heritage and English heritage.
What camera and lighting do you use. Love the channel
Lovely, please do VC, PF, JLC and AL&S dress watches next. The boring round ones 🙂
Just bought the tank quartz for my gf bday and it's a splendid watch ! go for it !
Gringa Hi. I've got the small size. Wrist 6.25. Thanks for the content. Voice is fine. Kind Regards, Climb Farmer.
Great vid Brittany, thank you. Appreciate the effort you put in 🙂👍
Awesome video.
Great comparison video, think I'll go for the tank based on the silly reverso pricing.
Being a tank nerd and watch loser the Cartier is the one I'd go for.
Ngl even hearing you mention in brief how important the Renault was made me feel great to know that such knowledge has left the military history nerd circles
I have them both and love them both. Reverso Duo Face and Solarbeat.
This looks like my dilemma. These two models. Tank LC v Duoface. I'm coming up to London this fall. Can you recommend shops for 2nd hand buyers? Thank so much Britt.
I second "option 3" having a duo face and a Must XL. Love them both
Yeah, I also don't get why the JLC reverso with quartz movement is so crazy expensive. The version with manual winding is 'almost' the same price.
Epic Gringa Sunday 🙌🏻
I’ll go with the JLC 👏🏻
Have a great Sunday B.
buying either one new is just crazy. you can get them both on the second market for a really good price
It was British army officers in India who abolished the Indian tradition of widow burning.
The history of empires and countries is indeed a complex matter. My advice would be to concentrate on watches.
👍 See my comments
Indeed, it was Sir Charles Napier who outlawed the practise of Sati in India. It seems to pass entirely without irony that the tank design is literally based of a weapon of war for France, a vigorously colonizing country in its time! As you say, better to stick to the watch talk.

hear! hear!
For a while I thought it was a rumour but I think it’s true that the SolarBeat is discontinued!
For large size, Solar beat or Must?
What do
You
Think about se Seiko “tank”
Hello and thank you again for a great video with a powerful thematic as well.
I got a crush on Jaeger-La Coutrê's since year 2004 when Christopher Nolan included it in his atrezzo for Batman Begins.
Yeah, since then and seeing how rocketed its price is every year passing too.
Thank you for such a quality videos Brit.
Saludos!
The price hikes on JLC just killed all motivation to buy one :(. Why quartz reverso if I can get a santos?
I wear a vintage Burgundy Must de Cartier as a casual watch. Maybe it's the plain dial and bold colour that makes it easier to wear out, but I dunno. I've tried on a modern Tank Louis, and nothing much would stop me wearing it casually and carefree like Andy Warhol too, so maybe I'm just the type who can pull off a casual dress watch look.
I think it would be a lot appropriate to compare JLC reverso to Cartier Tank Louis, they are somewhat at the same tier imo.
I would've gone for the JLC all day BUT the recent the price increases tilt it in Cartier's favour for me.
I do love the JLC ❤ but also love the Cartier… which to choose? 🤔
Cartier owns that shape in the watch world. Jlc go triangular!
It depends which quartz you go for. The Grand Seiko quartz has a claimed 50 year service interval but you pay a lot more for a Grand Seiko quartz.
JLC mono face small secs is at 11500 euros now ! Was 7000 like a year ago !
If you're into heritage stories, it's the protected side.
Interesting military history behind both watches! Would love to take both of them home. That's what she said.
The Cartier Tank is the dressier option and I like wearing it a denim jacket or a zip-up hoodie, a bit of sprezzatura. The Reverso is nice, I am just worried about getting grim in the flipping mechanism.
It’s the sapphire on the crown for me. I love the gold with white dial cmon man.
The Cartier Tank does seem more budget-friendly! 🤔
Wow Brit your not that far from 100k subs 🥳 this is way more than the pop of Bowmanville 👏🏾
CAN YOU BEEEELIEVE?! I cannot! 😱💕💕💕
Cartier tank Must Large for me is perfect for everyday fashion 😎 and JLC Reverso Duoface Blue sunburst and white opaline back is perfect for dressing up 🤵♂️
My only criticism towards what was said in here is that you pronounced it "REE-SEES" and not "Ree-Sez". All the rest of the watch stuff? Fine.
I’m with the mad watch collector I’m soooo over Roman numerals jlc all day love ur work more videos please ur one of only 3 RUclipsrs worth a watch xx
I feel like the Tank, is a little more chique
Clique’ or chic?
Both. Duoface Tribute 3908420 and Platinum CPCP Tank, W1539951P.
how does the carbechon fall off? i thought only it only happens to fakes? Not saying yours is fake, just curious. Plus, wouldn't people think yours would be fake(at the time of writing this) because the carbechon is missing?
No idea, but it’s gone off to Cartier for a shiny ✨ new one, so fingers crossed this one stays put a bit longer eh!? 🤣
