I am so thankful that Halloween seems to be alive where I am and we had a lot of fun! We had a nice break from the rain, for about two hours, which was perfect.
The death of Halloween is so sad. Less and less people every year. Parents stop being so fear based and let your children have fun and be free for one night.
Jaclyn’s reaction to dressing up her daughter on her first halloween was sooo sweet and excited… and then there was david’s reaction… how he looked at her for what 2 seconds? and quickly said rushingly “aw she looks like a cat”…. that’s it? that’s your reaction to your daughters first ever halloween costume? 🙄 I mean i get it he was helping Asher but come on 2 seconds!? it broke my heart seeing Jaclyn’s face after that. Ugh. She is the best mom and deserves the world.
They are indeed perfect...and absolutely adorable. Thank you for sharing them with us and for all your wonderful glimpes into your world. You're an amazing mum, Jaclyn..,your li'l treasures are so lucky. xx
Was literally cracking up at how Asher, without fail, would wipe his hands on his clothes every single time he touched anything close to pumpkin guts. Also super smart of that house to think of having a treat for some itty bitties to be able to enjoy too! Violet looked so cute!
There was literally no one outside this halloween i dnt celebrate it cause im a christian but i dnt impose on my kids so they got their costumes on and there was no one around streets were empty nobody was out giving or taking candy i felt so sad because Halloween was a super event in my childhood .
@ its a pagan tradition celebrating the dead. Thats not in the bible so i dnt personally celebrate it but i dnt impose on my kids so i dnt forbid it in my home .
@ i dnt think it was fear more like sadness of the state we are as a country in general we have distance ourselves from each other putting emphasis on what divides us than rather than finding common ground. To me it felt sad like kids either stay inside in their phones than enjoy para social relationships now i know im rambling at this point but i remember this was a huge event growing up
I didn't see anyone outside either. I remember even a few years ago more kids were outside trick or treating. I think nowadays parent's just take their kids to trunk or treats and that's it or kids just aren't interested anymore.
They’re getting so big.
Halloween is disappearing:(
Y’all are doing such an amazing job.
I’ve been following you for so long!
you see how you guys are literally one of the most awesome families in the world? very demure, very mindful.
I vote decorate for Christmas 🎄!

That Roomba costume was great! Violet was the most adorable kitten. Your children are wonderful.

I agree, it is soooooo sad man. Parents today are so insane with their fear. Why don’t you celebrate Halloween because you’re Christian?
