As someone who valued Mzwakhe as the Peopled poet who inspired the resistance struggle, I received the greatest shock of my life when Mzwakhe literally stole the show in a star studded line up of the best jazz artists in South Africa. The whole crowd was on its feet throughout Mzwakhe s performance and he left the crowd literally begging for more.
This song was played just after my elder sister's death announcement in 1998. It was the only death announcement in that hour of the day. It brings sorrow to me. Regardless I listen to it . Rip Aggie
