Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana and members of the 1981 Super Bowl Championship team honored the career of Dwight Clark in a special halftime ceremony.
The Voice of a Sick and Dying man is just heartbreaking. Dwight knew that seeing his time was running out and wanted to meet his Teammates before we would succumb to this terrible disease. I hope we'll remember Dwight Clark for the joy and happiness he has bought to the bay area and niners fans abroad.
@luis _ Idiot. York hired the best people and they built the best team in the NFL, now we're 1 win away from our 6th SB win. You're not a true faithful..
RIP Dwight Clark. I wasn't alive to see The Catch but the moment I first saw it I knew I was going to be a 49ers fan. Thanks Dwight Clark for convincing me to be a 49ers fan. You are one of my top 5 49ers players ever.
#87 More than an athlete but more of a great man had touched so many people and fans through out the NFL and so on. Continue to make that catch in the back of the end zone in heaven RIP Faithful 🙏🏿
R.i.p Clark to the best wr in the game may god have you up by his thron in his empire with all his faithfulls god bless you niners all day everyday !!!!!
Watched this again and I can't hold my tears. We all know this was going to happen within the near future but it's still heartbreaking. Rest in Peace Dwight Clark, you'll never be forgotten.
RIP Legend, go in peace with our lord, stay proud, you do it great, as a player and as a executive, thanks for all, we gone a miss you! :( #TotallyNiners #Faithfully
I'm sooo proud of you Dwight Clark,I'm Niners fan till the end but that's not my heart lies, I was just 9yrs when you made that catch. To this day I will always remember you and love you, God bless you're Loved one's.
I will never forget that game and the catch was watching it with a Dallas fan who grew up in Texas as he was pitched pissed because 49ers won it was great
Being from Texas and an Oiler fan, I despised the Cowboy arrogance and rooted heavily for the 9ers when this historic game played out. I watched this game with my best friend who was like minded about the Pokes and we both celebrated Dwight's magical catch with great happiness. It is so sad to hear of his passing. God Bless Dwight and hope he is still catching more great passes with God as his quarterback!!!!!
G@D dammit, G#D dammit !!! I was so angry when he passed, now m just sad and n sorrow, he will forever b remembered, not just as Niner Hero, but an abored human being !!!!!
Wouldn't it be something if Notre Dame (Joe Montana's alma mater) played Clemson (Dwight's alma mater) in the College Football FBS National Championship Game at Levi's Stadium on January 7th (ESPN, 5:30pm)
Clark died for the game-no bs. Montana should have thanked him for GIVING his life. Fuxx the owners who'll sacrifice player's lives & dignity. NFL will die as as more players die.
I was there. A really nice experience except for us getting smacked by the Cowboys that day. All the Cowboys fans were saying “who’s house … Cowboys smh!!
Steve Young is not there. I wish Joe Montana and Steve Young would put their differences aside especially at an event to honor Dwight Clark with his battle with ALS.
