- I wanted to make a video which displays the pain of missing the goal. I spent three days failing, over and over. I plan to spend as many days failing as it takes. When I get the NO DEATH with Max, it's going to be very sweet. Welcome to the top of Streets of Rage 2 play.

I've been trying to get a no death Mania 7 with Max for months....I just can't seem to do it. Every other level, I've done it, but 7.....it's always 7. And I've only done it losing one life once! How you've managed to no death it as many times as you have I have no idea, but fair play to you. At least you have a decent chance to pull this off. Good luck!
It's why I did it first with Axel. I didn't want to have a no death 7 and lose it on 8 with Max; which I've done 6x now with Max. I've been pushing hard to get my 8 handled so now I can't get through 7. I'll get, so long as I stay at it, I'll get it :)

I kno the stress my man! I give you mad props! I got to stage 4 without dying smh, I love the challenge of this game! My top 3 favorite games of ALL TIME! SOR FOR EVER! (Sor2 is the best)
I like 2 the best as well and I also think it's one of the best games ever made. Definitely the best on the Sega Genesis :)

You will get it eventually,don't worry.Just take a big break(couple of hours) if you get killed near the end.Starting all over immediatelly and frustrated won't get you the run,at least this is my way.
This game doesn't work that way. You can be at 100% and still lose 10x in a row. The best you can hope for is a 1 in 25 or 50 win. That's around where I am at, maybe a 1 in 100 at the far end. I just have to put the runs in and keep gaining experience from the fails :)
@@Anthopants Yeah,I understand it's random.I meant to take a break after a failed LONG run,because if you start frustrated you gonna be doing a lot of silly mistakes,and you'll end up even more frustrated.
I agree, frustration is the destroyer of runs :)
LMAO this is a great highlight reel. It's amazing how you don't curse after all these BS deaths. "Gosh dangit" is so restrained compared to what I would say ..
I set a high standard of no curse but I do fail and let one slip, maybe one or two per year :)

I've noticed you take most of the hits for the same reason I do like getting countered when attacking other enemy. How do you maximize fighting safe when you have lots of enemies on screen? Well done mania is no joke you are amazing at the game. Good luck
Understanding priority helps. Enemies that are doing nothing will take a hit before an enemy that is attacking. Hitting one enemy will slow the attack down, making it take longer to hit the next one. I've already got the No Death, this is an old video :)
@@Anthopants Yes I've seen No Death video well done. Have you made any videos explaining how game should be played on very hard or mania??

its okanthro i tried a different challenge i played as max attack only hardest dificulty basically attack only no thundr tackle until the boss i wanted to see if it could be done i beat the hard boss in punchout without stars so i wanted to see if it canbe done i did get to level but died on the stupid elevator
i dided on level 8
That sounds like a good challenge. I'm so used to hitting special when in trouble I'd never be able to stop doing it, it's a reflex :)

The rich kids always wound up the poorest in the 90's when it came to gaming. Such expensive, capable, potential-laden systems that absolutely NOBODY wanted to learn how to properly program for. A shame, really. SEGA proved that less really IS MORE when it comes to systems while simultaneously making the same mistake all the other cutting-edge companies made later on. XD
