Those poor food trailers... I remember like 5-6 months ago, a taco trailer went over really hard, and someone was like, "The inside of that thing must be a mess..." Oddly enough, the business owner was ALSO a fan of this channel (gottah love Karma) And he responded "The inside of the trailer was fine, but the hitch and the stand were all messed up. I now know what happened AND who to fire..." Definitely my favorite clip of all time!!!
If you watch the vid where the truck is past the 2nd hump and the trailer to the left of the hump , even going slow would have damaged the hitch / trailer.
Don't feel too bad. These people are the same drivers that merge without checking mirrors, run red lights, run stop signs, don't signal, etc. They get exactly what they deserve in this section of street. The only reason the speed bumps were installed was because _these very people_ kept blowing through the 35 MPH zone like it's the final lap at Talladega.
Something just occurred to me.... How many of these vehicles have kids in the back? Parents: "OH MY GOD, is everyone okay???" Kids: "WHEEEEE, LET'S GO BACK AND DO THAT AGAIN!!!"
@Rekuzan MOM, my fast food went real fast, all over the place, drink included. MOM, have you seen my phone? It was here, a second ago. Ohh, I found a chicken nugget that was yesterdays flight meal jump, maybe?
1. This is so entertaining 2. How do so many people not see the speed bumps? 3. I would be so stressed out living in the surrounding houses and hearing this s**t all day and night.
I couldn't tell you what possessed me to click on this video but sure am glad i did. I haven't laughed like that in a while. Just trying to imagine what goes through each drivers mind when they hit that bump😂
...and they likely wonder: "why do I need an entire suspension already...it's only been a couple thousand miles...oh, and why is my oil pan leaking?" Hilarious.
I wish more of these were installed in my (residential) area. Seems every other day, someone is riding up on my bumper because I'm doing the speed limit past the local school. Police issue tickets, post photo radar, put up those flashing speed signs, etc... A handful of these in various places would do the trick nicely.
The only thing these would do is get your municipality sued for millions once all of the damage is counted and the rightful class action lawsuit is filed. That second bump maximizes the damage because its placement causes the front springs to compress which violently launches the car across the second one when those compressed springs expend their energy coupled with the cars upward momentum. This causes damage to these cars undercarriages, bumpers, contents, and possibly occupants, and most dangerously, causes the car to lose control for a few spring cycles to a surprised and likely panicked driver. Also, would you really want your children walking around cars flying through the air and out of control? This is a massive and foreseeable safety hazard
@@rogueninja1685 Yep, and another thing is to let thru roads be thru roads. The road in this video looks to be a throughfare which makes those speed bumps be out of place.
I feel like these cause more danger than they help. Seems like a recipe for disaster. They put a big one (big vertical) up near my house on a main STRODE, I literally just use it as a launch ramp on my motorcycle / wife's SUV and 9/10 I am speeding up above what I was before the bump after I land. Really, this channel is hilarious but inevitably, a vehicle is going to blow a tire or wheel due to excess speed/pressure, lose control, kill a pedestrian, then the city pays millions and removes the bumps. These aren't even properly setup as they don't have spacers for ambulances to cruise through. Whoever set this up just wants to do damage and murder people.

In Houston, there are vertical lines that help you notice that there's a speed bump. Here in South Texas the speed bumps are yellow or white, sometimes orange or blue.
The big bounces are good, the crunches are better, but the crunches with sparks are the best! There's a single "sleeping policeman" right outside our house, and must admit we 🤣🤣 whenever we hear a good (un)healthy crunch 🤣
Hey. I would agree except that I see they have those big wide arrows painted on the road. So maybe they don’t know what it means? Eh, who knows. Anyway, it makes for some comical entertainment. Take care!
@@Tranquility32 What are you even alking about??? These things should be painted yellow or such... so you can actually SEE them. Arrows typically indicate to actually proceed in a specific directon -- NOT to slow down. These "speed bumps" are total equine excrement.
@@johnsmith7676 The street on each side has "BUMP" painted in the lane 70-feet before as well as big yellow "BUMP" sign with a big yellow "10-MPH" sign below it and "BUMP" again painted in the center turning lane 40-feet before. I mean if you need flashing lights and yellow stripes painted on the road with arrows pointing at the bump, then you have issues. If I see bump or dip on a sign or the street, I slow down, but that is just me. I have never seen these painted except in parking lots or on private property.
A sick sense of humor. Like the ones showing pedestrians slipping and falling on ice for half an hour without warning them of what would happen if they underestimate the problem. Haha another broken bone, haha.
My favorites out of all these are the obvious residents who should know better by now! 😂 They're evident when they hit the brakes too late and drop their front end onto the first bump!

We asked for this in a So-Cal neighborhood (well, the community did, I found out about it the day they were installed). We got it. I'm sure there was some regret about it, because of the sheer amount of abandoned car parts/panel sections that ended up on the street due to the speed bumps. I moved away but I'm sure to this day, the neighbors have to remove car pieces from the road once a month or more, sometimes one a week or so. They should set up a camera. The issue being I think the bump is too abrupt and high actually (setting aside the fact that people drive 50 mph down a narrow f___ing residential street there lol).
I liked the older videos from this channel where they showed each incident once. I really don't watch anymore since every, single, incident.. is shown twice. I only watched a couple clips of this video, but came here just to comment my thoughts. Play each clip once please. Thank you!

I particularly enjoy the ones with someone driving gently over the bumps on one side and the person going full YOLO in the other direction.
