It's good to see some footage and live experience with the bike, what i see is that u have to stand up on the bike in off road, mt450 is lighter and more enduro bike, so it handles way easier, this is a mid weight trail adventure bike. Congratulations on the test!!! I'm 1.95 centimeters tall and I don't know how ergonomic this height will be or if I'll get tired after a few kilometers because of the position of the footrests. I currently have a TRK 502 x and I'm very comfortable. Do you know if you, being tall, will be able to ride comfortably at this height that I have? They haven't brought the demonstration bikes to Spain yet, so I haven't been able to try it. Thank you very much for your answer ✌️😊

Porém gostei muito da moto como um todo. Quem sabe off road leve e com bons protetores de carenagens e peças. Estou curioso para saber a potencia e qualidade dos faróis e luzes. Porque no Brasil não podemos colocar luzes auxiliares infelizmente. Mas creio que sem muito peso na moto em poucos quilômetros de estrada de terra. Pode dar certo. O bom que a 450 MT tem pouca tecnologia mas que pode ser adicionada. Como o monitor de pressão dos pneus ou um mini radar. E câmeras.
As I’ve mentioned, I think a skillful off road rider will do much more on this bike) but I think most people have pretty much the same skill set as me, and for me mt450 is better in terms of “having fun” off road. And you’re right, you can get aftermarket tech if you like. I’ll try to show the headlights performance at night in my next video. 🤝
Thanks Dimi, not the most confidence bike you can use on gravel roags. Thst would scare the shit out of me! What is the weight again of the Zontes? It just looks so much heavier than the 450MT! The standard tyres probably aren't really made for dirt, most probably bssic gravel roads. Thanks for providing this example making sure you dont damage the bike! Otherwise, you'll have to buy it! I think, you looked my comfortable on the 450MT. Cheers

According to Zontes it’s 228 wet and ready to go, but I haven’t checked it myself) it did feel heavier than 450MT, but the throttle and power is where I had the biggest problem I believe, I’m not an off road rider obviously, but I felt much better on 450mt for sure! And I was really anxious about dropping it, Zontes felt too glamorous and fragile for off road in my opinion. I think it’s a very capable machine, but it’s definitely not for a person like me! But 703r which is a naked version is something I really want to try! Thanks for watching! I appreciate more than you know 🤝

I own a Tiger. Power is not an issue. However I wish I had a smoother more progressive throttle response at very low rpm. I think that a big 3 cylinders is not the best at very low speed. This big ADVs are more rewarding at higher speed which definitely doesn't make them beginner friendly. Also, this Zontes is heavier than my 800XC 2013 and I wouldn't buy it just for that reason. I am too small to manage over 210kg-215kg ADV bikes (if you drop them or do technical off-road). An MT450 or even an Himalayan 452 would be faster off-road road with most riders (not pro riders). Only pros can go faster with a heavy ADV. However, the 3 cylinders is very enjoyable for touring (smooth with no vibration at high speed). I wouldn't buy a new Zontes after my old Triumph, just because of the weight actually, sadly. My favorite ADV is still the Tuareg, like a more refined T7.
Here you go! I couldn’t put it better myself! It’s a city bike, 99% of riders will not benefit from this power off road! I was struggling quite a bit, I think highways is where it feels the best! I hope they make a road biased variant that using 17inch rim, it really scary to drop such bike on offroad, better use it on the highway road.
they will release a 19inch rim model, same price.
