@@justalangusta260 Since my connection is the TV cable that millions of households have been equipped with for decades, it's just a question of signing a contract with Vodafone and, of course, the price. Deutsche Telekom provides 1 Gbit/s via old telephone connections as well. Most Germans won't opt for 1 Gbit/s because it's overkill for streaming music or even movies or surfing the internet. It is really is an outdated cliché that mobile and fixed Internet in Germany is slow and sparse. LTE coverage is 96.99% and 5G 84.89%. And Billions are currently being invested in fiber optic internet.
