UPDATE : After Shark Tank, his sales doubled 24 hours after the episode premiered. Since then, Long Table has expanded, selling more (different) products and business is growing slowly.

Kevin O'Leary's comments were spot on. I want to try this product so bad. I don't like how pancakes are so thick and make me feel that so stuffed with flour feeling, bloated, but with little taste. A light pancake and light waffle sounds like a dream. Can't wait to try it.

I don’t have an interest in monetizing my hobbies and things I do for fun. Then it just becomes more work for what will likely be a small return. Yeah, you never know if something is gonna blow up but, I’d rather just enjoy something I love and not try to make it into my second or new job. I value my time and thus, my time off, too much.

A big problem today is the lack of mystique in everyone's lives since everybody knows what everybody is doing. Nothing good comes out of revealing everything about yourself.
Unless you own a business that you know for a fact will grow because of social media, there's no reason to have it other then to keep in contact with people.

The product is too expensive for a simple carbohydrate powder mix. The trend now is low carb, high protein pancake mixes.

I am looking for healthy, organic options first - I don’t mind if there are lots of healthy whole grains. But i would never pay this for any mix.

The fact that he never promoted his products on social media tells me he’s not an easy person to work with. He’s too stubborn to learn new things. He probably thinks, "I don’t like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. I will just sell on my website. People will come. I want to do business my own way. I can succeed without social media." You never want a partner like this stubborn guy.

Im surprised no one at least took a gamble and asked for more equity like 40-50% to make it worth it. Or even out right buy the company. Because there is a a product there but a lot of work needs to be done

Am I the only one who’s actually tried this product? I bought it after the show first aired. It was around Father’s Day and they were giving a coupon and free shipping to try it. I actually really like the pancakes but it is very, very expensive. And the serving size that’s listed on the package makes absolutely no sense. Serving size like three silver dollar size pancakes.

While Kevin is correct about social media, the value these sharks can bring is by pumping up the social media aspect of his business and watch sales skyrocket. Clean up the website, help with production/economies of scale, financing etc. Lost opportunity...I think this could have been worth a gamble..

Apparently, "Selling like Hotcakes" doesn't mean what it used to.....
I also seek out these healthier versions and will be purchasing very soon. I feel the sharks hated on him a little not sure why. Sometimes you can't buy everything and this man has a very supportive loving partner. Try buying that with all your money sknobs!
