So you basically chain both characters intro skill into Changli, letting you use ts charge, following that her resonance skill, plunge, ts ground slash. Letting you get 2 charges. You can quickly get 4 stacks, and it works pretty nicely in ToA since you start with zero forte. It takes some practice but once you figure out how to do it its pretty easy. An example rotation is at 2:45
@@VoidEnigmado you need those characters to have their concerto energy full for that? Or it's like regular swap that allows to cancel BA1 and BA2 of any character?
Main reason we cant fully clear tower is lack of resorces :P Underlvled characters deal like no damage to lvl 100 boss (even less with only 20+ artifacts), so even if you are skillfull and never get hit, you gona run out of time as you cant deal enogh damage.
Changli has a learning curve since she has so many variables in her kit. Been playing her non stopped since she came out. Learning more combos to get her stacks up. I never expected her to be as strong jinshi who is essentially the archon of this current area. But she competes with some of the best dps under jinshi. She is flexible as she can be a main carry or a swap cancel sub dps. She's a great character, and I hope Kuro keeps cooking like this. This game is so fun because of these characters.
I usually take about 20 minutes to fully learn a character's kit in wuwa but wow changli's kit took me 2 days. Playing changli with encore really brings out both of their swap cancel playstyles and because of that you can run both of them to deal damage without much dps loss.
Totally agree on player skill. This game is awesome for rewarding skill. Too many are used to Genshin, where the skill level requirement is lower and the application of character kits is pretty straightforward. Genshin is all about rotation and repetition. WuWa forces flexibility in rotations and skill-emphasis.
Genshin does have a few characters that rely on precise execution. Childe, lyney, and alhaitham are some good examples. But yeah most of the meta is brute force with synergies/character strength lol
It is so satisfying, when you actually start playing the game. I was unable to beat Inferno Rider with Jinshi+Yanwu+Jianxin. Rotation was too slow. When I decided to take a risk and replace Jianxin with Yangyang, I managed to beat him. It is such a good feeling when you understand the game and are able to experiment to achieve the result.
I love the combat of Wuthering Waves where you can improve the more you play and especially the involvement of swapping characters and timing dodges to do counterattacks that also allows short invincibility. My only problem with the combat is that Parrying can often get clunky because of the range of the character's range of their attacks and the distance of the enemy, like yes, jianxin is easier to parry but her short range can get interrupted because the enemies' attack is longer than hers and other characters.
nice one. sometimes i forgot that i'm F2P and need to constantly remind myself, what i mean by that is i won't be able to get ALL characters. i might collect them all in their rerun banner though.
You and I have the exact same experience with Changli bro, 100% agree her swap cancel-oriented style literally makes any main DPS you pair her with more fun.
Well, I've been saying that since 1.2 leak started. 2nd banner characters are all prep characters for mono team burst DPS characters so far. As far as we know, before Jiyan and Jinhsi, there wasn't really a true burst DPS class in the starting cast. Of course if you never seen a nuker and saw one for the first time or second time, they will seem massively over powered, but once more nukers come out it may not turn out to be all that special anymore. And guess what, these nukers can't function alone like sustained DPS, so they scale higher in damage and are easier to play compare to non-nukers are entirely normal.
I think they're going for both an element base and attack type meta. We will see skill/basic .. etc dmg buffers and and the more characters of different elements we get the more flexible we can curate our teams. Like you'll have both a nuke team or sustain for every character you have.

Your point might be correct for Holograms, but is wrong for ToA (which aint a skill check, but is a dps check). In ToA it all comes down to math, modificators and time character rotation takes. Currently i can't get 30 stars because my A5 Changli with talents 7 and 70/250 build simply doesn't have enuf dps to 3 star Scar. If i had Encore i would be done by now. I will be able to 3 star Scar a week later when i get 60 and ascend Changli to A6. But at that point, all my other characters with A6 would be able to clear it as well, even without tower Fusion buff. Her personal dps simply aint good, she requires dual carry setups.
Wait what stacking outro mechanic?

@r.d.6290 Yup they need to be full, otherwise when Changli comes in, her initial attack won't gain a charge
@@VoidEnigma You should pin this. ;)
I'm the kind of person who enjoys easy gameplay over complicated stuff, but Wuthering has really made their way of fighting be so satisfying I love it
same, till this day I still haven't beat a single difficultly 6 on the holograms 😂

Changli works well with burst DPS characters like Chixia and Rover.
Jinshi is gonna stay top tier for a very long time her multiplayer are insane so I honestly don’t think we should compare new characters to her
4:32 "Hold click to do s**t character" that's so true 😅

I felt like I heard something familiar, then I realized its music from Arknights. To be specific boss battle music in Guide Ahead event.
Love Changli, she's so seamless 🥹

I dont need changli to 30/30 tower 👍. Teaching myself against FOMO. Gotta skip her.

LMAOOO this video was literally just: skill issue
I am here to spread Changli + Encore propaganda.
Play it if you want to push swap cancelling to their limits.
Great vid. Who's Sean Lee tho?
Lol I'm working on pronunciations... I swear...

The calcharo losing ALL his stacks after getting hit is hilarious

Imo some player can only get hard with big numbers, they become desensitized to everything else.
