Doesn't even need to be searched, people were mapping them back then even. Ahh memories, I remember going into the card store and buying these for $2.49 and in the back behind the counter he was selling Dark packs for $8 and Legends and Antiquities for $35 each pack. But i mean revised dual lands were only $15-18 bucks and a Black lotus' depending on a/b/u were only $200-400. Boy Alot has changed!
@@TehSnipez oh i wouldn’t doubt it. I really wish i was into magic back in the day to enjoy that. But i am very glad for when i found and fell in love with magic. Im sure ill look back on this time as well
@@bulbsopens I remember pulling an underground sea from a pack and trading it for a birds of paradise because i only viewed the dual lands as (just another land) haha. Kinda wish i kept my original collection! Sold them all to a local card shop in 2001 for $300. I had tonnage of beta through mirage. Live and learn!
@ Oof thats rough but to be fair there was no way to know what would and would not be reprinted at that time. I think you did what you should, which is enjoy playing and trading within the game. I do also remember i sold my entire collection for like 100 bucks back in the day. That included a ton of uncommons from the new phyrexia block and probably 1-2 mox opals
@@Varg84 that was my first thought but i watched a few videos of how to tell if they are searched or not and most say there will be creasing along the top. But there is no creases that i can see at all. Im still too scared to open but i dont think its searched
Nah, I bought revised booster packs back in ‘94, you could pick one pack and based on the rare you pulled map the entire box if the game store didn’t mix it up.
the real question of the day ill be if you open the revised pack or re-sell it. Awesome pull though either way!
Holy crap you hit the jackpot
