Come See Me has lots of little details throughout the song, some technical parts, nice variation/syncopation from drums, all coming together nicely, and taken higher (in the feels) by the chorus. All the instruments stand out; nothing is overpowering (or stepping heavily on) anything else; like everything has its moment, or timing. To me, this is a thoughtfully made song. Koiai really seems to be finding themselves now (between this and A New Picture); pushing forward the parts that make them stand out more as a band (showing some ability), while still putting some thought into a well constructed song. Oh, and drummer is amazing.
Koiai is my favorite new-ish band. Chops and good songwriting. Vocals and instruments in perfect balance. Strong visual appeal. A friend said they are “shred pop”, pretty appropriate. Very promising.
Come See Me has everything I want in a KOIAI song. I love it. Cannot wait for the 3rd EP! Honestly I haven’t liked a new band this much since I discovered Muse in 2001.
I thought you knew that complex rhythms and syncopation is a trade mark for Kanade since the beginning. She can play hundreds of beats in the space other drummers can play 10. It’s actually incomprehensible and I never get used to it and I’ve been following her since she was 12.
After the intro, I was expecting Steve Perry was going to start singing. I think Wakazaemon on bass here is "the mix." It look like she may be the #5, with all of her positive "X" posts with the 4, and her mentioning working on "songs" with them. 🦍🍌
@WavePotter Not sure if it works retroactively, but I remember other reactors saying that you can set up Odysee so that it automatically gets the videos of your yt channel and uploads it to there, so it is automatically backed up over there. I am also pretty sure they aren't as strict because I have seen plenty of full livestreams on there that were blocked here from a couple of channels. It might be a way to at least not lose the videos (albeit in a bit lesser quality). But again, not sure if it works retroactively or not. Also, I guess this comment will get blocked, hopefully you will see it somewhere if it does.
I'm already set up on Odysee.. but i am a little worried on the legality of reactions over there since they have no copyright system. Thanks for the tip though!
@@WavePotter Most people I have seen mainly use it as backup since yt gets so much easier views, some of them use it to let people watch blocked reactions. As far as legality goes, I don't know for sure, but it's very much a gray zone since it apparently isn't really monitored either. I just think it's a good way to make sure you at least don't lose on content if something were to happen, I don't know how viable it would be as an only platform. Also the fact that it's not that monitored means that banned youtubers or more extreme people probably also have stuff on there, but it's better than having to store everything on external harddrives since it's automatic.

Lisa-Xも奏でも幼少期から見てたよ。立派な可愛い🩷女性になってるし、腕前は絶品な。
If they can get the song writing, these ladies could be the new Toto. Just phenomenal!
I think they already kind if fit the Toto vibe. I was hoping they would go harder in the direction of A New Picture and be the new Rush.
I think Kotono is from Ironbunny, which disbanded a few years ago.

I've never played the guitar so I don't know, but who is better at the guitar, you or Lisa?
