I wish I had lived in the past. It was beautiful, healthy and humans were original... Today are too stress, work, study, vehicles, noises, smokes, plastic in our oceans...
FYI: Picture at 44 seconds is famous pic of Imperial-Civil-Service Examination site, those individual structures on either side are spots where candidates would spend 3-days, without ANY break while taking exams. They brought their own mini PortaPotties ALSO at 1.23, this is a famous picture of the outer walls of Beijing/Peking. Big Massive walls surrounding northern Tartar-City, and southern Chinese-City. At the Center of the "Tartar-City" was the 'Forbidden-City', and surrounding that, was an enlarged, walled compound known as the 'Imperial-City'. Beyond that, in the "Tartar-City", was mostly various Trades/Crafts that supported the Forbidden City, such as woodworkers, stone-craftsmen, & etc; as well as certain well connected civilians In the southern, "Chinese-City", were the foreign Legations / embassies; and The Temple-of-Heaven, and the Altar-of-Agriculture
In the 1800s of China was actually going through so much turmoil and chaos. Some of them want it just as it was actually during their ancient ancestors. While others want to change their ancestry ways and live like the rest of the entire world. Then during the Boxer's Rebellion in 1900 that change China literally. When 11 nations around the world change it to be just like the rest of the world? To me I love the original ways of China but yet nothing can be done.
aryan China borrowed many traditions, religion, architectures and cultures from India, and so did India also do the same. That is called cultural exchange. It is also a historical shared cultures of neighboring countries. Don't cry...
In the picture from 7 seconds to 14 seconds, I remember myself sitting in the chair, with a pillow on my lap, playing a lute. That is my brother standing next to me, (very tall), and my husband was standing behind me. Old pictures bring back memories.Thank you for finding these pictures.

I think China has one of the most interesting history’s from all over the world
I wish camera had existed sooner so we could see China in the Tang and Sung

I agree
Idk about being healthy and not having too much stress or work in the past ...
Unless you're a woman. The foot binding is cruel and hard to walk.
Unless you were a slave, which majority of the people were .. I don’t know about health and lifespan though
@@athira_n_s I agree
