My BMW car seller told me 800€ in France. I used to do my oil change + filters + sparks plug myself since 20 years now ( Renault & Ford ). I will do the same with that tutorial video.. I hope to find a way to reset the oil change on the board maybe one day. Many thx again Jays
Many thanks for the vidéo. As a new driver of that car i can give u some informations : 25nm for the bolt under the oil carter 25nm too for the oil filter. Nevertheless u made a very good video, specially for the spark plugs. I have a question about how much oil u need. I have a 116I F20 (2018), can u confirm i need 4,25 liters of oil ?
I’ve got a 2019 1 series 118i 1.5 petrol and I was wondering how much do you reckon a service would cost in sterling ? I’m just wondering because I’m taking mines for it’s first service and I’m not sure how much it will cost me ? Thanks in advance
Oh shit lol cheers bro hopefully not too much money… this was a helpful video to give me a fair idea what work will be carried out on my car, p.s keep up the good work you know your way around a car👍🚗💨
Could you share numbers of all the parts you used please, i really want to do the service myself but dont know which mann filter to use. Thanks in advance.
This is so awesome. It will save me 700 Euro, the approx. price here in Sweden (25% tax rate). Many thanks!

@@pierofavale8043 you’re welcome
Hey, thanks for the video, really helpful. Don't get me wrong but it would be better to tighten spark plugs with a torque wrench (23 Nm).
👍🏽
Would you ever change the fuel filter in this particular model and engine?

@@jaysworkshopgarage Many thanks again Jays !!
I don’t think the spark plug socket needs to have all them sides to it but I do think I’ll need a spark plug 14mm

Nice video! would you tell me that what is the part number for spark plug? thanks

How often should one change the spark plugs?
Depends on which type on this particular vehicle I would say around every 30,000 miles
Did you upload it into the idrive yourself?
You mean what I done on the end of the video manually from the dash
