This tragedy hurts us all: we are losing our wisdom generation, and with them our ability to learn lessons from the past to apply to a brighter future. How can we call ourselves the greatest country in the world while treating our veterans with such disregard???
This is incredibly sad. This building needs to be replaced with a building with 2020 architecture and technology! Governor Baker needs to stop being a yes man and for once show some leadership!
This tragedy demonstrates that we can no longer look to “leaders” to solve our problems: when we see something wrong we have to step up/step in to make sure those in positions of authority are doing their jobs/serving the public interest. This sad story is proof that we can not stand by and wait for others to fix a problem we encounter.
Yes, let’s talk about leadership, and the importance of having someone in the highest leadership position in the land who has sound values and a working moral compass, to be an example to others of how to put the lives and well being of those they are charged to look after above their own interests. America has lost its way, one “leader” at a time.
There's so much nepotism in the VA system it is terrible. You have a lot of in positions they have no qualifications for other than being friends with someone else. And because the employees are friends of the supervisors there's a lack of accountability and it is systemic

Putting people with the virus in any elder facility should be punishable as manslaughter. They knew these were the most vulnerable people.
Caregivers need to be held to a high degree when it comes to patience and love for their patients and... HYGIENE!!
There are many unqualified care home leaders. Horrible places!
This is something that goes on in all homes. They are top heavy on management and less staff doing direct care.

That is a crime. Close them down and fine them!
Fines won't work, replace the people who made these decisions.
It's about time this is being reported. Now let's prosecute!
You forgot to report the worker that came back from vacation infected, a week after he returned to work he admitted he had been in Italy
