Why are there only 2 B1G teams as good as 6-7 SEC teams? What has a single B1G team done to justify they're elite, and not just another group of paid-for skill players who will be dominated in the trenches by the NFL lite SEC?
Because they beat everyone on their schedule handily with the exceptions of the wolverines & tOSU. They beat the wolverines by 5 and lost to tOSU. By contrast, Bama's strength of schedule is better than IU's by a mile, yet they've only lost to one ranked team, and of their other 2 loses, they were not counted as part of that tough schedule. No one, including the fan bases of those respective unranked teams, predicted that they would handle Bama the way they did. They certainly didn't have them as a strong opponent to Bama in any way. IU beat every unranked team on their schedule, Bama did not.
@fr0stb1ght34 If thats the case then schedule a whole season of cupcakes every year. if beating a bunch of shitty teams "handily" and losing to the only good team on the schedule is the rule, then SOS is meaningless. Hell, lets just put an undefeated FCS school in the playoffs then. they beat everyone on their schedule. It's supposed to be the best teams playing each other to determine on the field who is best. Its not about who scheduled the easiest games and won them all. The argument makes no sense.
@jclevengerjr I noticed you decided to completely step away from my point of who beat their unranked nobody opponents and who didn't, but ok. IU can't be held responsible for how their schedule ultimately shook out. They had Nebraska, Mich, Washington, on their schedule at the beginning of the season 2 of those 3 teams played for the ship last year and were highly touted to be decent this year. IU can't help how that shook out in the end. The rest of their schedule, meh, with exception to my tOSU, of course. But, with all that said, who are Vandy and Oklahoma this year? Nobodies. Unranked nobodies who beat Bama, one of which blew the doors off them people, defensively, as it were. Bama has 3 L's and 2 to unranked teams that weren't counted to their SOS. Nobody, not even their respective fan bases, had either of those teams as a tough opponent to Bama, and yet they have W's in their columns against Bama. Does IU have L's against Nebraska, Mich, or Washington? Nope, but they have a 106 SOS because everyone who was ranked at one point lost those rankings eventually. Remind me, what was Vandy and Oklahoma ranked at when they started, and then when they beat Bama.
@@fr0stb1ght34 you can make yourself think Indiana deserves to be there. But deep down you know they don’t. They will get pummeled by any team in the playoffs that isn’t group of 5. Michigan and Washington lost their star players and coaches. They were only ranked at the beginning of the season to give them the benefit of doubt. Outside of OSU y’all have only played 3 teams that even have a winning record. And all 3 of those are 6-5 as of right now. Michigan, Washington and Nebraska…. Those same teams you are trying to defend. I get this is probably huge for you Indiana fans, but be realistic. Y’all aren’t very good.
The AP poll is a joke. If you're Tennessee and you have a loss to Arkansas, you're capable of losing to anybody. Arkansas lost to OK State (0-8 in Big 12 and 3-8 overall). Also they got blown out by Georgia. The SEC did NOT have great non-conference results this year (Georgia St beat Vanderbilt, OK State beat Arkansas, Cal beat Auburn on the road, Toledo beat Miss St. 41-17, USC beat LSU, Notre Dame beat A&M, Miami beat Florida). The best win is Georgia over an average Clemson team. ESPN bias
The only quibble Texas fans had is that you drew the wrong conclusions from the premise that Texas hasn’t played anyone. There is no scenario where the playoff committee doesn’t take a 10-2 Texas team. Call it bias if you will but facts are facts. So I don’t agree with your assertion that you were just telling the truth. I suspect you were surprised that Texas was included last year. I wasn’t.
This is being made to much of. The only team that I have an issue with is Indiana. You can’t with a straight face say they deserve a playoff spot with the 103rd ranked SOS.
Ari has no clue about Jackson Arnold… he absolutely needed to be benched. He’s not as talented as his 5* recruiting ranking. Throwing for 60yds last night wasn’t a positive sign.
You couldn’t be more correct on Jackson A. I don’t know how he got a 5⭐️ rating. He has ZERO confidence throwing the ball and he’s a FUMBLE FACTORY! How many times has he fumbled the ball on the VERY FIRST PLAY directly after the defense TOOK THE BALL from the opposing team? I’ll tell you- 13 times. 13 fucking times!
Ari, the Colorado fans are just as absent as the haters were when they were winning....the fact you didn't ask that question when they were winning is hilarious.
LOL. Here we go. Continuing to down play our opponents the whole season. Going into the games, "insert team" is really good. After game, "insert team" yeah we're still not sure yet about Tennessee, they still need to play someone. GBO!
Not an Auburn fan, but it was crazy how dirty the refs tried to do them in the second overtime. First not calling that textbook defensive PI... Then making up a offensive PI on the next okay, that both announcers said was absolutely a bad call.... One in the end zone.... The next turning a first and go from the two into a second and 20 from the 35 or something like that... At that at i can tell... Because of the officiating. Auburn had to win twice to win at all! Or maybe three times... Actually.
No one is arguing there is merit right now, Ari. Things shift and they shifted Saturday. Not really understanding your point. It's still okay to say one loss Notre Dame, Penn State and Indiy aren't as good as Georgia and wouldn't have gotten through Georgia's schedule with two losses only.
Does A&M really have to win both games? If they beat Texas, they would earn an extra game. If Georgia beats A&M, how could you reward Texas with their spot after they just lost to A&M?
So if……. Ole Miss beats Mississippi State Alabama beats Auburn Texas beats Texas A&M and Tennessee beats Vandy and the SEC standings are….. 1. Texas (7-1) 2. Georgia (6-2) 3. Tennessee (6-2) 4. Alabama (5-3) 5. LSU (5-3) 6. South Carolina (5-3) 7. Texas A&M (5-3) 8. Ole Miss (5-3) Does Alabama get the 4th SEC spot? 😂
Bottom line; all these teams are mediocre or just above. Whoever wins the playoff will likely have 4 or 5 losses. Like watching 8 and 9 win teams go to the Super Bowl.
I'm not a fan of the SEC fans in general. Some are okay. But for the most part, they're ridiculous. After Ole Miss, Alabama, and A&M each lose their 3rd game, they're still out here in the comments arguing for 5 playoff teams. I seriously don't understand their line of thinking. I liken them to spoiled children..babies..
On3 always does this , literally those 3 teams lost to another SEC team . Every year the SEC teams beat up on each other and then when we get to bowl games , we usually finish above .500. But after watching Indiana play , they are a decent team but they don’t have the players to match up against actually competition on their level. This is the same team that barely escaped by a horrible Michigan team. But aye put them in the playoffs and watch them get destroyed first round . 🤷🏿♂️
7:30 bro chill everyone plays cup cakes games. They handled business today🤦♂️. You’re hating on Tennessee beating a cup cake but who has Indiana played before Ohio st. There just isn’t that many great teams this year.
People aren’t going to like it but the debate come selection Sunday is the loser of the ACC championship and a 3 loss SEC team. And the answer the Committee will come up with is the 3 loss Sec team in that 12 spot
What's really ironical about this year, from a Penn State's PoV, is that had it been only a 4 team playoff like the last 10 years, they would've been in a brilliant position to be a likely shoe in 😂. So one of the biggest criticism of Franklin which is not making the 4 team playoff would've resolved itself this year, given how the madness in other conferences is helping Penn St but definitely now that its a 12 team field, there's zero doubt now that it will be in with a home playoff game. Also, I can't wait to see the reaction of Fine"bum" and his mental gymnastics on how the SEC should put a 3 loss team in.
Alabama has the most talented roster in the country based on rankings and Arizona is saying it was always going to be a tough season? What a cop out. Alabama should not have lost 3 games this year and losing two of them to 5-5 teams shouldn’t ever be ok for a program like Alabama. Kalen too, over maybe the best and most healthiest program in CFB history and we are making excuses for Kalen just because he took over the best roster in CFB? Ari ALWAYS has the most odd takes and I can’t figure out if he’s really as dumb as he comes across or is it just his schtick. I leaning towards he’s just this dumb. Just awful and has made this show unbearable to listen to for me. I love Andy, Ari has just been subtraction by addition. Too bad
Do you know what yall are saying is insane SEC is hands down the best conference so it should matter u put any big 10 in the SEC and they will struggle so what are we talking about.. you sound crazy the only 3 teams in the big 10 right now that can play in the sec and win Ohio State Oregon and Penn St Michigan when then find a QB and that’s it!
The real question is does Georgia get in if they lose the SEC championship? They were 100% in the playoff before making the SECCG and if they lost they’d be 1-1 against Texas so do they get penalized for losing?
@@johnnybgoode8104 their sos alone can put them in the playoffs. Plus the committee said, they weren’t gonna punish a team who loses in the conference title game. Idk how true that is cus we all saw what happened last year.
There are no elite SEC teams this year. That's clear That being said, the SEC was far and away the toughest conference to play in this year, & teams like Oregon, Ohio State, & especially Penn St & Indiana, will get all they can handle & then some if they get matched up against an SEC contender in the playoffs. The thing about "surviving" in the SEC this year is that they know how to win a dog fight. Penn state & Indiana don't. Oregon has had to do it once. The SEC won't have as many teams in the playoffs as first thought, but the ones that will be in it have been baptized by fire while the others have been fed warm milk
I could say the same about the B12. Just because a conference beats up on itself doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a great conference. Could just mean all teams are avg or good, or could mean they all stink. And given that the SEC has lost a bunch of games to OOC lower opponents, or played a bunch of crap teams close, I’m not sure why we are supposed to assume the SEC is mostly made up of “good” teams.
Depends on the schedule. The same if you have a Texas schedule or a Georgia schedule. Purdue will literally play 6 top 25 teams including 4 maybe 5 top 10 teams - which is objectively harder than any SEC schedule to date, but somehow magically they are 7th in SOS somehow......
Indiana being 11-1 is and getting in is LITERALLY the same as 11-1 army getting in. They played the same awful schedule, but absolutly noone thinks army would get in because for some reason, the B1G sticker on Purdue, maryland, northwestern, UCLA, michigan state and nebraska's helmets confuses the hell out of unintelligent people. These are not quality teams, these b1G teams wouldnt bowl in the American this year. Indiana's schedule should disqualify them, and they did it to themselves when they cancelled on louisville so that the could play an FCS team.

Why are there only 2 B1G teams as good as 6-7 SEC teams? What has a single B1G team done to justify they're elite, and not just another group of paid-for skill players who will be dominated in the trenches by the NFL lite SEC?
How could Indiana still get in with a SOS 106th with their only quality opponent is a loss?
@@trav3104and number 3 texas' best win is......?
I wasn’t.
Yall nailed the tamu vs Texas rivalry perfectly. It’s a cultural difference. Hook em.
This is being made to much of. The only team that I have an issue with is Indiana. You can’t with a straight face say they deserve a playoff spot with the 103rd ranked SOS.
Yes, Indiana gets a spot.
Ohio State played one of their worst games and still won by 23. I want to see a rematch of Georgia and OSU.
OSU sweeps the floor with UGA
Actually.
“outlasts”
Pfft
No one is arguing there is merit right now, Ari. Things shift and they shifted Saturday. Not really understanding your point. It's still okay to say one loss Notre Dame, Penn State and Indiy aren't as good as Georgia and wouldn't have gotten through Georgia's schedule with two losses only.
The playoff will speak. The top of the B1G, i believe, will beat the SEC this year.
Does A&M really have to win both games? If they beat Texas, they would earn an extra game. If Georgia beats A&M, how could you reward Texas with their spot after they just lost to A&M?
Yes, if not that’s a 4th loss. Texas would only have 2. But that’s my opinion
If Texas loses they should be outta the top 20
Big 12 office says ASU...ISU are both in if they win next week...so...ASU is in as the top seed if they beat Az.
Ari will always be a Big 10 homer.
Is south Carolina gonna make the playoffs?
Alabama just had a total of 233 yd against Oklahoma, they roll into Ohio Stank, could you even guarantee 200 yd?
Hated or love it. The SEC conference have the most better teams.
🎉I want to see Tennessee vs Indiana
So if…….
Ole Miss beats Mississippi State
Alabama beats Auburn
Texas beats Texas A&M
and
Tennessee beats Vandy
and the SEC standings are…..
1. Texas (7-1)
2. Georgia (6-2)
3. Tennessee (6-2)
4. Alabama (5-3)
5. LSU (5-3)
6. South Carolina (5-3)
7. Texas A&M (5-3)
8. Ole Miss (5-3)
Does Alabama get the 4th SEC spot? 😂
ND should be above penn State, clearly better than them. NIU loss was a fluke at this point.
Ohio State "outlasts" Indiana. Haha yea ok
As a Texas fan and alum, we dislike our little bro atm worse than ou
Tennessee has not “lost 2 games this year to 9-3 teams”
Must have been thinking of Georgia.
@ yeah I figure he just doesn’t know georgias record 😂
Also I’m pretty sure Arkansas isn’t 9-3 either haha
Bro your seriously trying to act like Florida, Oklahoma and Auburn are good teams....... Those teams make the B12 look good.....
I hate to admit it, but the old BCS computer rankings were better than this CFP committee. The BCS had no biased element.
Acc is probably getting 2 teams in now
What's really ironical about this year, from a Penn State's PoV, is that had it been only a 4 team playoff like the last 10 years, they would've been in a brilliant position to be a likely shoe in 😂.
Yes, they should still be in regardless
@ I agree
@@WhitneyGadison1 why does UGA get to lose multiple games and still get in "regardless" does playing matter at all
@@johnnybgoode8104 their sos alone can put them in the playoffs. Plus the committee said, they weren’t gonna punish a team who loses in the conference title game. Idk how true that is cus we all saw what happened last year.

So who is Penn States best win? Lol oh wait they don't have one better than the Vols
Lmao at outlasts Indiana 😂, bro let the OSU hate go with these nonsense headlines
There are no elite SEC teams this year. That's clear
That being said, the SEC was far and away the toughest conference to play in this year, & teams like Oregon, Ohio State, & especially Penn St & Indiana, will get all they can handle & then some if they get matched up against an SEC contender in the playoffs.
The thing about "surviving" in the SEC this year is that they know how to win a dog fight. Penn state & Indiana don't. Oregon has had to do it once. The SEC won't have as many teams in the playoffs as first thought, but the ones that will be in it have been baptized by fire while the others have been fed warm milk
the SEC simply isn’t that much better than everyone else
the parity of college football has never been more evident
Nobody's saying the SEC isnt tough, but their reign of dominance is over. I'm taking Oregon or Ohio State over anyone in the SEC. All day.
@@logicisntthatcomplicated3583lol
I could say the same about the B12. Just because a conference beats up on itself doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a great conference. Could just mean all teams are avg or good, or could mean they all stink. And given that the SEC has lost a bunch of games to OOC lower opponents, or played a bunch of crap teams close, I’m not sure why we are supposed to assume the SEC is mostly made up of “good” teams.
How are you so confident when your teams are clearly inconsistent af?
Put any of the 2 loss SEC teams in the B1G and they have just as good of a record. I doubt you can say the same if you put the B1G team in the SEC
Texas came into the SEC and in year 1 may win it. OU, a bad B12 team last year, came in and smoked Bama. What are you people even talking about?
Depends on the schedule. The same if you have a Texas schedule or a Georgia schedule. Purdue will literally play 6 top 25 teams including 4 maybe 5 top 10 teams - which is objectively harder than any SEC schedule to date, but somehow magically they are 7th in SOS somehow......
I bet you can! 😂
I will not watch another episode of Andy and Snowflake. This guy is a joke
You watch Star Wars.

You 2 are so inconsistent with your views on teams, basically no one has played anyone or has any good wins.
Refresh my memory, who did Georgia play today
Buddy said today lmao we just went thru a damn gauntlet what do you mean who does uga play today
Georgia has played 5 teams in the top 17 and with 4 of them on the road. They were beating Clemson by 31 when everyone else was playing Akron.

B. You wanna talk about defense? Did you watch games yesterday? Bro Georgia gave up 350 yards to UMASS! How in the world are you talking about defense?
"B12 doesnt even know who their best teams are"
Accurate, but again kinda of a double standard to claim that the SEC just beats each other up so everyone is good, but the B12 just everyone is bad.
Also really doesnt help that Arkansas lost to THE WORST B12 team, and Oklahoma STRUGGLED against Houston.
You degrading the ACC and B12, actually hurts yourself because SEC teams lost to teams in these conferences.
