    Seems the backing bronze kept the silver inset from corroding it. The feeling you're attempting to swim home via Land's End is palpable!
    Hadn't checked if you got our thoughts on the 1560-1 Tower of London mintmark to your second hammered silver penny? I get the feeling it may have gotten obliterated for having a hyperlink attached to it, although if "crosslet cross" jogs the memory, I'd conveyed as much as before, right here, hear, hear! What was it? Elizabeth Dei Gratia, Rosa Sana Spina, London/Civitas. Nice!
